  1. Maybe just some marketing gimick by associating the product with the "scientists" of Rogaine. I'm pretty sure the website is clear on this NOT being a substitute. For me, a decent shampoo/enhancer. I don't use Rogaine. Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  2. Pay attention Shed... Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  3. To be fair, I wished to illustrate the contrast between flash and no flash. Either way, my boys are still there: Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  4. I've been on Propecia a little more than 10 weeks now. You can read more details here: Shed's Propecia history I noticed as of late that my hair does appear healthier. Decided this morning to take some pics and compare to what I had taken about 12 weeks ago, prior to starting the meds (I am using nothing else). Although camera angles and lighting can certainly portray things differently from one shot to the next, I definately see an improvement in the thickness of my hair at the very least. Keep in mind, I went through a period of considerable shedding within these 12 weeks - especially in this frontal area. I'm not going to go so far as say that I have experienced any "new growth" at this point. I will say however that lurking in the shadows of these photos, is what I believe to be some of my previous sheds (maybe months before the Propecia sheds) coming in stronger than before. Some of them are coming in as very thick grey hairs - almost white. So far I am very pleased with my experience, and like a lot of people - "wished I had" been on it 12 years ago. I'm optimistic that continued use will certainly benefit my upcoming HT. I'm hoping it will aid in minimizing my shockloss and perhaps a certain percentage of these guys may stick around for the "after party". Check it out: Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.

  6. Umm... I think I said 6 or 7 bucks. Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  7. Screw OTHER people. They may not be bald but they got their own pathetic lives to lead. EVERYONE realizes there are people or circumstances that they will never be able to live up to - that's why they dog other people, for the self-imposed illusion that for maybe one minute they may seem "better" than someone else. Why do you think so many people watch Jerry Springer? To validate their own pathetic lives. I'll tell you what, think of the people who were around when you may have been at your lowest low. Now think of the people that are still around - those are the people you should give a sh*t about. Regardless, number one should be you. Remove all the negatives from your life and live for the positives. You got an HT - great start! Who's better than you? (Stepping off my soapbox...) Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  8. Was in the local CVS the other day and came across this Progaine shampoo - "from the scientists at Rogaine". Looked interesting so I thought I would try it. Bought the "2 in 1" flavor - shampoo and conditioner. Claims to make your hair look thicker anyway. Think I paid 6 or 7 bucks for a 12 oz bottle. Been using it for a few days now and it DEFINATELY lives up to its claims. Makes my hair look much fuller than any shampoo I've been using of late. Not trying to promote it, just sharing what I believe to be a decent "enhancement" for very little investment. Your mileage may vary. 9. If you kept the hair that short, did you use concealer on the donor area as well? How did that work out? Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  10. Seriously, I hope it helps the masses make truly informed decisions. However at the same time I hope that notariety doesn't create "forced mills". Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  11. Serenity now. Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  12. I'll pay a little more for peace of mind. Besides, lack of any Starbucks in my zip code makes up the difference easily Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  13. ...it could mean 6 more months of Geraldo! Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  14. I think with the "burns" and the "shades", you almost got that evil Matrix dude thing going! Hell, I'd be satisfied with his hair! Good growing! Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  15. I'll tell you what - I may have really started losing it when I was like 26, but I would ABSOLUTELY wish that a transplant now would give me what I had then!!! Hell, sometimes I wish I had now what I had a year ago! Try the meds and read the forums for a year. I think at the very LEAST, you're going to have to learn to live with the meds if you gonna get a plant. Go see a doctor after a year of meds and armed with some free knowledge from here. I haven't had my plant yet, but I definatley would have done what I said above at the very least. Good luck dude! Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  16. Can afford a Bosely plant and afraid of not shooting the roll? What's a $20 round trip on film and developing to humor us? Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  17. Any word from this guy? Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  18. Mike Wallace Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  19. Might have been on a DHL flight travelling through Bagdad Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  20. "Met with Dr. Carlson and discussed my hair issues and needs (I have a 5A hair loss pattern). To cover front, middle, back, he said would be 1800 grafts." Would be interested in how this doctor defines "cover". I myself am just concerned with my "front". My consultations say close to 2800 just for that. Anyhow, glad you had a good experience. Would be nice to see/hear about your results in 4-5 months. Good luck. Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  21. I think you'll get some good advice if you provide a little more info on the state of your current HT. Some doctors seem to be recommended specifically on what you may need done. Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  22. Good luck with your FUE results Hape. Just don't dog other SUCCESSFUL methods. Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  23. You seem well versed in handling these. Cheers. Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  24. As far as the suplemental use of Propecia goes, these are very encouraging results! I would not have believed that 400 FU's in the "before" crown area alone would have produced these results - at at 4 months no less, good for you! Can't wait to see what another 4 months will show - most likely more definitive results in your hairline as well. Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
  25. I just follow what is prescribed - 1mg per day. Sometimes I miss a day, but I don't double up the next. I'm onlhy a month into it - too early to tell. I'm interested in what you Doc had to say concerning your progress after 6 months. Chaos, panic and disorder...my work here is done.
