  1. at just 6 months this already seems to be headed for a great result. Hope the gains keep coming for some more months if not until the 1 year mark. btw good on you to go conservative route. Have seen cases where 3k grafts done for nw3. So must have been tempting to get a more younger hairline but this does look age appropriate and will age well.
  2. How many procedures is dr gur doing 😄 bombarded with his results today. Just Kidding but Keep them coming if they are like these. HT results are great just like other cases posted today but was he on medication ? Please provide details on meds. because crown area and mid-scalp seems to have improved quite a lot and what great donor he has..atleast it seems like it.
  3. work is good and result is good too.. but wow...night and day difference in the hair texture ! I wish he could tell the product name he is using on his hair. Or maybe he wasnt on fin that long before his HT. Happy for him either ways.
  4. great results but why were grafts used in the mid-scalp/bridge area ? he seemed to have hair there. although density improved so much there so cant complain about his wish. if possible then what was his density before and after HT in top & crown area if you can tell.
  5. Great work. good hair helped him go fade cut i guess. Thank god he cut those beard after he got his hair back. Looking so good now.
  6. if possible do upload a pic of donor (only if comfortable). Maybe people here can also try to analyze it. ( the analysis obviously you wont and shouldnt take into consideration when going for HT and input from surgeons you will weigh more) but maybe some positive feedback about it may make you feel better and people might give good suggestions. You have already heard the opposite from turan so dont think it can hurt more hearing bad feedback about it either.
  7. 3000 grafts is good enough for NW3 and unless donor is very poor they can surely take that much amount. But still i suggest getting more opinions, even if you dont want to get surgery from them just contact those good clinics and see what qoute you get.
  8. With yaman you get occasional bad cases. With turan and gur thats little less. Yaman is a good budget option if turan and gur are unable to take your case. Donor area can be only checked properly in person. But when they are unable to do so and there are even small red flags regarding your donor not being good then they deny you surgery which is not bad and understandable as they also dont want to leave you in worse condition than before HT and their reputation comes 1st for them. So try to get more opinion on your donor locally and try to contact more surgeons and see if majority of them deny you HT.
  9. He got promoted to rs 125 package recently. We are waiting for @Shadman to update us about his procedure in june with somesh. and also @general-etwan is having procedure with somesh and das next week i think.
  10. both are great and cant go wrong with either. I like the result posts from dr munib lately as pics can tell the whole tale and they give tons of result pics. But bisanga is regarded highly too. One other factor ( and cost shouldn't be factor but just saying) is if you are going for less grafts then maybe go dr bisanga as dr munib charges per surgery, whereas bisanga charges per graft. It might be more valuable if going higher graft count then choosing fuegenix.
  11. what an amazing transformation. looking forward to watching your transformation video on youtube. (if not added already by clinic)
  12. after 13 months you had on DUT i think your results are maxed out from it. The changes if any wont be substantial from now on. You have also used oral minoxidil and got the most out of it and maybe 4 months of results for it will remain. But i dont think you need to push surgery date which is in december. Other meds which are in pipeline are not going to do anything more than what DUT+oral min did or add anything. you are on the best stack. The meds in pipeline are supposed to be alternate to Finasteride and dont even come close to what you take or to oral fin+topical min also. example: CosmeRNA instead of being a med is sold as cosmetic product whose safety profile is also not tested. Its a red flag when they try to skip FDA approvals. These products are targeted to people who got sides from FDA approved meds. HT should be done as you got gains yes but easily your surgeon (who are one of best clinics ) can add grafts in between those hairs and enhance your look more. FUT or FUE that you should leave to dr wong as he will check your scalp and donor in person and tell you correct answer.
  13. For now : grafts = 0 , meds-> fin+min (after consultation with doctor) 1 year later : if meds dont help then grafts = 800-1000 and regardless of outcome meds can be continued to preserve other hair (after a follow-up consultation with doctor)
  14. you can start minoxidil now. its not going to help much with hairline. And even if it does help there then more better for you. Your surgeon can see any new regrowth there and can place grafts near it while trying not to damage it. Under magnification its very easy for them. Any if you are worried about shedding caused by minoxidil then by october the hair you would have got them back. Lastly if worried about the gap during HT when you would be off minoxidil then 4 weeks in total is fine. Dont take a more longer gap. Alternate route of not starting minoxidil now and starting it 1 month after HT is also a choice but minoxidil causes temporary shedding so your HT shedding combined with minoxidil shedding can be too much for some people so they start it good time before HT. In my opinion its best to get any gains you can from meds by taking them and then to get the HT in areas where meds didnt help.
  15. fuecapilar (turan, gur) should be your first preference in budget option. yaman and demisroy should be second preference. not worth looking out for more lower options.
  16. first thing is basic , that your nails should be cut to avoid any big damage even if you scratch scalp by mistake. second is that you need to take care of scalp itchiness before sleep itself by proper aftercare because once you are in deep sleep then highly unlikely you move your hand as body actually restricts movements. When not in deep sleep those sleep duration are tricky.. but i suggest not to worry about it. Also try to make sure no external factors like sleep environment causes your scalp to feel itchy. That is all you can do honestly, unless you are travelling with someone who ties your hand at night and unties them next morning 😄 .
  17. it is ginger essential oil mixed with some more ingredients i think. Dont waste time on this. Follow minoxidil and finasteride regime itself thoroughly.
  18. marketing is so good nowadays.. you are not alone who feel for this. Even i used to think that maybe people love their results hence so many followers but if you check their followers those are mostly bot accounts and rest are gained by reels etc. Most followers will have copy pasted replies if they get any in their videos. Do you want a surgeon who invests in marketing or someone who invests in HT skills ? The one with more skill , their work will be travel by word of mouth and free marketing will happen. Yes they still have to pay forums but that is least they have to do in such intense competition to atleast make people see their results if not their follower count or glam photos with celebs.
  19. true.. as with any hairstyle where he combs hair back... that part may get highlighted and if he is uncomfortable with it then can trim it. in his benefit the peak is really small so its tough to notice in my opinion.. but its upto him..if he doesnt like looking at it everyday then can ask surgeon for solution.
  20. its always tough to notice unless you keep hairstyle like this . if you see closely , his peak was exactly at centre but its thinned a little over years so its looking a little off centre but it still looks good. (his peak is big so tough to judge honestly)
  21. great results. the hair texture in asians really plays a big part is so many HT look so good. do provide any post-op pics if available.
  22. you need HT specialists. dont need a whole makeover. Ignore such places who does everything as they are not expert in one field you are searching. Choose clinic who just does HT and that few people/one person a day. catchy name though 😄 "coolest clinic" .
