was diagnosed with MPB in March of 2023
Who did that diagnosis ?
-
@Rossybop I think it'll vary from person to person depending on their progression of baldness. For some patients if their progression is stable using no meds might not cause that harm. Or it could be other way around
-
@Ivan Ivanov graft roots are well secured inside, Don't worry

Thanks for the answer! Do you think the donor area of my head is not enough for an acceptable result?
I think without beard an acceptable result might be possible only with Dr. Zarev
With the help of beard hair a surgeon will be able to blend it perfectly.

Thank you, your latest update is looking great too!
I'm taking 1mg finasteride daily still, what about you?
Thanks, currently I'm taking one single solution of 5% minoxidil and 0.1% finasteride topical solution
You're taking 1 mg of finasteride daily ? That's great !
not everyone can tolerate that

Yes, you should select a surgeon who'll be able to use your beard perfectly.
Dr. Pittella would be an excellent choice
Best wishes👍

@SLA I think for the curly nature of hairs if you side trim quite a bit and top is untouched it looks more fuller.
Btw do you use any products to set your hair ? For the curly nature I often face difficulties.

Can you share photos from some other angle ? By looking at the above picture I think if you go for transplant there's a high chance for shock loss for the native hair

Slits definitely a crucial step, it'll determine at which direction/angle hairs will grow. Also depth of any particular hair. I think you're definitely making the right decision if you proceed with Dr. Arika @gary123

@Honest Hairline don't worry, looks completely normal
-
@transplant49584 good to see your update. This is an outstanding result
What medications you're on currently ?

@HT2000 seems like skin flakes with hairs. I think you need to clean your scalp properly. You should use ketoconazole shampoo for the flakiness

I will do that, but isn't 6 months too long, what could go wrong?
Yes, definitely too long. I've seen several cases in this forum where around month 4/5 patient trimmed their hair.

@Shadman For me Eugenix is charging Rs 210 per graft for Dr Somesh but for you in june last year it was Rs 120.Not sure why so much increase in price
Yes, I just saw that few days back. Dr. Somesh now is in the premium package, previously he was in the exclusive package. I'm thinking of a touch up procedure. So, if I select Dr. Somesh this time also I've to pay according to that updated pricing
You can talk to them about the available options. I think there's some discount availability if you give them media rights

@J.Tylr can you share few photos ? Also you can look at the forum recommended surgeon list
-
@Rockybhai well, there was a time when he was recommended here in this forum. But his overall work quality has dropped down significantly. Many patients started to share their feedbacks here. And one thing was common, low density.
If I talk about my case he over-harvested my donor, there were doubles in the hairline& fronto temporal angle and possibly grafts were handled by the technicians in such a way that it didn't survive as a result, low density.
Also he usually gives some sedative before starting the procedure,as a result during the procedure patient feel sleepy has no idea what is going on.
-
@Rockybhai yes, I had a video consultation with him. What I was thinking matched with his planning. So, I proceeded with him
-
@Rockybhai I think with your curly nature of hair it would create an illusion of more fuller density
How do I fix density

@lileli I think this time you need to select a surgeon who will also use your beard hair. With scalp+beard you'll get good coverage. Best wishes 👍
