  1. You need to go with the one you have most confidence in giving you the best possible outcome. Yes, waiting 2 years for the final result when you could have it in 1 year is a bummer. But you know what's worse? Have the procedure done in 1 pass, then not being happy with the result and thinking that in hindsight you should have gone to a different surgeon for a 2 pass approach. I am not saying one doctor is better than the other (I haven't research any of them). What I am saying is that the timeframe is irrelevant. You need to maximize the chances of you having the greatest possible outcome. Money and time should be completely irrelevant of your decision.
  2. Very happy for you, Tom! I have an op with Hasson for end of June, so this thread also got me a bit spooked at first, but after reading through everything I am at ease. Will you be making a progress thread with pictures? It would be very interesting to follow your timeline of growth going forward.
  3. I'm sorry for my blunt input, but it's honest feedback: you need a second procedure to establish a hairline with only single grafts, and also create more irregularities in the hairline. The way it is now, it looks pluggy and straight = not natural. You might need to punch out multis in the hairline. It puzzles me to see almost only multi grafts in the hairline. If I were you, I would only seek out the very best of surgeons for your repair surgery. Before that, of course, you should sort out the redness and/or folliculitis with a dermatologist.
  4. You can 'guess' but not conclude 100% if that's what you are after. If you are 24 I would get on preventive medication as soon as possible if you are already a NW2.
  5. @Axel Hoping for a new update soon? Really interested to see how the hairline is coming a long I'm going in with Hasson end of June, and my procedure will be more or less the same as yours in terms of grafts and area to cover.
  6. This is why it's so important to take photos to track progress. Comparing those two photos it is evident you are seeing solid growth. It's just started, it's going to only be better from here on out. Exciting to follow!
  7. ...and fantastic hair by the way. Looking excellent! 100% natural, dense and good. I'll probably show your hairline to Hasson for my upcoming op before summer as a template for how I would like my hairline. We have almost the same starting point, mine is just a tad bit more recessed in the corners.
  8. Good idea on EoD delivery. I would aim for 600-700 levels, I'd consider that to be a safe zone, but of course that's individual. Some anecdotal evidence on testosterones impact on hair: literally every male in my workplace that's overweight (and have been for most of their lives) have great hairlines. My theory being that they aromatize more and thus have lower T and DHT levels - and subsequently higher E levels. I'm not on RU myself. Don't want to dip into the grey market, I'd rather wait until something is approved so that longer term side effects are more known.
  9. Topical anti androgens RU, etc etc. https://moreplatesmoredates.com/how-much-does-dutasteride-increase-testosterone-levels/
  10. Just be mindful that testosterone also causes hairloss, but at a slower rate that DHT. Testosterone also slowly chips away at your hair. That's why a few men actually lose more hair when they switch from Finasteride to Dutasteride, because scalp testosterone increases by a large amount when your DHT levels are crushed, much more so than when on Finasteride.
  11. Fantastic results! Makes me happy that I landed on Hasson for my upcoming procedure! Great hairline (I went through your old thread as well) and crown work, looks absolutely natural and no one would be able to tell this was a transplant. As it should be
  12. From all the cases I've reviewed, I would say this is right on track in terms of growth. Everyone can't be early growers I think it's looking good, and things will loot a lot fuller over the next 4 weeks as growth settles in!
  13. Be careful to not blunt the angles too much. I'd consider something like this. But difficultto place the temple peaks precicely witrhout seeing your eyes and eyebrows. I would round the cornes just a little bit, and extend the temple peaks. In my mind the current temple are too "straight down" and does not 'swoop' enough forward towards the eyes/eyebrows.
  14. Stunning results, an amazing hairline!
  15. @mister_25 another update coming soon, I hope? Following your growth with enthusiasm, I have my op with Hasson in June
  16. Will be interested in following your journey. I have the same hairline as you, but somewhat less receeded and a little bit lighter brown hair color. I am scheduled for a 2000-2500 graft surgery in June with Hasson. He was my first pick. I only had an online consultation. I am not planning any temple work, only hairline. I want a hairline that will look good also when I'm 50.
  17. Thanks for sharing! Looks good, I'm positive this will turn out excellent! I have my op with Hasson in June, so reading positive reviews of the clinic is great
