Hi, I too had sides from oral fin. But luckily, I had no issues with oral min. And it was a game changer. I do 2.5mg/day (half in the morning, half at bedtime). It restored my hair in mid scalp. I’m 53.

I had a similar reaction to oral fin. I’ve now been on topical fin for a little over 3 months; it’s definitely more tolerable.

As someone who currently takes bp meds, I’m wondering the same thing. Has anyone substituted/replaced their bp meds with OM?

It’s my understanding that Dr C is a skilled HT surgeon. I’ve consulted with him as well, and had a good consult experience. I also understand that he is a bit of a “maverick” (as described by other reputable HT Drs). I’m not sure why he is not discussed on this forum but respectfully, I’d like to get more info on him as I’m in a similar situation as @Jlb.

If I’m not mistaken, they are a PAI institute. A bit of a hair mill. I have personally had a procedure with them a couple years ago (in a different state) yielding questionable results. Please continue to do your research and consider the surgeons recommended on this site.

@VladRojas I believe that after a couple more months, you’ll be in good shape. Actually, right now, it doesn’t look as bad as you may think. @gillenator I have to ask; is Dr JPC in Atlanta black listed on this forum? I actually did a consult with him in January… I tried searching this forum for any reviews and even tried reaching out to @Melvin- Moderator to ask his opinion (I wasn’t able to dm Melvin due to me being a newer member with minimal posts).
