  1. Here is the one year update. Hair texture/direction is much better compared to 3-4 months ago. The "troll doll" effect lasted awhile, but it's getting better.
  2. Yes, Surehair. It was decent, they don't provide the details that some other clinics provide in terms of how many singles/doubles etc were implanted. I also don't know density per/cm. Yes, Dr. Gupta kind of glosses over things which is normally a red flag, but in the end results are all I care about. The Dr. does the incisions and the techs implant them. What you are getting (from only my experience) is a good transplant at a good price. If you live in the GTA it also means not travelling and being able to recover at home.
  3. I'll post an update at the one year mark. So around mid-March.
  4. Last few weeks have filled in more than I was expecting, I think the Dutasteride and Minoxidil are really helping. Happy so far as things are progressing much faster than I was anticipating. Still a lot of pimples/bumps that come and go.
  5. 40, FUE, sorry don't have any good donor pictures. On topical Minoxidil and oral dutasteride.
  6. 2 Weeks, no shedding yet. Top of head is still numb in parts, donor area "tingles" a bit if I touch it. Pink skin tone is very slowly getting better day by day.
  7. Chose a more conservative hairline, if I have enough remaining grafts after getting the crown filled I may get some of the temples filled as well. Opted for intraoperative PRP for an additional $200. Overall good experience, being home on my couch 30mins after the procedure was a nice benefit of going with someone local. I had some consultations with other Dr's in Mexico since I travel there for work often. Once you convert the USD they charge in to CAD$ and add in flights/hotels etc, the cost was actually comparable. This way I had the procedure on the weekend, I was able to work remotely on Monday without missing any work at all.
