Maybe @Eugenix Hair Sciencesshould have a dedicated clinic for repairs only. I know they are expanding their facilities to the building next door. Maybe they should use that building for only repairs, with the technicians and doctors dedicated for repair only. Repair patients require more Thought, Love, and Care (TLC).
Edit 2: If Eugenix has a desire to expand, then they should expand in the right direction. I think having a dedicated repair clinic will be the right way forward.
Edit 1 : Tony, do you have a good hairline ? Maybe you can use some hair fibers ?

How was his donor area before the first sitting ? How high is his hairline from the glabella after surgery.
-
@Gatsbyare you on finastride?

Donor looks untouched.

How do you still have a beard ? I mean the amount of grafts taken out were huge.

Hey man, since you are in India. Your best bet seems to be Eugenix. I would consider scheduling an appointment with them in person.
-
Do you have multi grafts in your Hairline?
-
With regards to "heavy hairline". the first 1cm of the hairline should only be single hair grafts.
-
Name the clinic so that other don't have go through with this.
Since you are in India and HLC is in Turkey, go to Eugenix for an initial consultation. Then talk to multiple surgeons about what can be done including HLC.

Do you mind naming the city and country

I asked whether their staff were regularly tested for this as it goes both ways and again this was ignored.
Hey man, just wondering why would the staff need to be tested for HIV ?
They can't transfer to patients, can they ?

@AlphafitWow. I thought your photos were me for a second. We are going in similar paths in many ways. I have a surgery appt with Dr Das (Eugenix) on the 27 and 28 of December. Unfortunately her fees now are 210 a graft. I had 2 previous weak transplants over 12 yrs ago. So the hair on top of my hairline and mid in the photo (#1) is transplanted. Dr Das thinks she can get 3500 grafts from my sides and beard. Hopefully closer to 4000 taken donor from wherever, though my beard is not as good as your. Your photo of what you would like is similar to what I would be happy with (photo 2 and 3). Because my donor is weak and keeping it shaved on sides and back is no problem for me. Also I have SMP over my scalp which I think will help in 6 to 8 months. I just started to let it grown out on top 2 weeks ago since Ive been shaving it with razor for the past 5 yrs with SMP
What do you mean you had two weak transplants previously ?
-
If you plan on never taking finasteride, then do not get a hair transplant done. Even after your surgery you will have to take it for six months at least.
-
I am confused, if you had a botched donor then where did they get the grafts to do the repair ?

i'm unaware that Eugenix billed itself as a repair clinic. If your issue is "simply" low yield/low graft count, then they possibly could be good. No different than being a high norwood 1st timer in that regard. But if you have scarring or bad angles, I'm unaware that they are good in that regard. In general I'd be a bit concerned as repairs really need a lot of TLC and a personalized plan of attack - Eugenix just seems way too high traffic.
The best repair docs seem to be in Europe, but of course that will cost tens of thousands dollars more than Eugenix.
And even they sometimes don't have good results, for example some of Dr Mwamba's recent results.

@bigmistakeDr Ball is literally only an hour away. It's a very good point. I hadn't really considered that. I just went on the basis that I need approx 4000 grafts and Dr Ball charges about £5 a graft. So, thats 20k and out of my range. For me that would still be an outrageous commitment even over say 5 years. It's defo something to consider though. Thanks.
Are you comfortable sharing photos of your hair ?

Hair transplant money is like gambling money. Don't spend an amount you can't afford to lose.
That's how people end up with a need for repairs.

Maybe talk to him first. Lets see how many grafts he recommends.

Hey man I have a wild idea. Why don't you make a budget per annum of what you want to spend on your repair.
Then find a good local doctor in the UK, I have heard good things about a certain Dr Reddy and have seen a repair video by Dr Edward Ball, but do your own research.
Now if the surgeon quotes you 3,000 grafts split the surgery in 3 years for 1,000 graft each year. Not only will this help with the finances, but it may lead to better results as the doctor will take his time and will know how to course correct in the next surgery.
I know this idea is a bit out there and there may be some medical/ technical hurdles that only a doctor will be able to forsee. If you are keen on Eugenix, maybe you can take their top most package like this, but then you will have to travel to India.

Sorry for the late reply. My points are over so had to wait to post again.
Here are my side pictures and beard picture. I recently had a hair cut and I go short on my side compared to top.
After some thought, narrowed down to these doctors. Could someone recommend again based on these?
1. Akeso - Dr. Akhilesh Jangid
2. Euginex - Lowest package
3. Medispa - Dr. Suneet soni
4. Dr. Radha Palakurthi
Take finastride for a year before getting a hair transplant. Try to get a doctor do a total testosterone test first.

@bigmistake thanks for the sympathy.
When I did my consultation with them the chap I spoke to said the service and result was the same no matter what package......
Some people have got the money to do the expensive package. I haven't. I'm still waiting for a response as to why they cancelled. I think it speaks volumes how they treat the less wealthy/famous clients. They said I requested this and didn't. I'm 500 quid out of pocket which is scandalous. Imagine how gutted you would be if you had that amount in your wallet then lost your wallet.
Well if I'm brutally honest I think it is a load of rubbish....they have now said 14 days. So it can clearly be done. This still leaves me 500 gbp out of pocket. Thanks a lot. We will see if they do a proper refund so I get back what I paid. No doubt it is also going to be short and start taking my losses towards a grand.
Brother, it's not all rubbish, it is very tough to send money out of India, one is asked a lot of questions. But it doesn't take six months either. I don't think the six months timeline was wrong, considering how bureaucracy works in India, it looks like they took a few days extra as a margin of safety.
But the way your surgery was cancelled was a bit weird, and quite honestly unprofessional.
As far treatment of non famous clients, I don't think that is the case with their doctors, speaking from personal experience.
However, still the way your surgery was cancelled was unprofessional. No doubt the clinic was wrong here. Hope you get your repair done soon and your refund as well.
-
@daz 2hey man, feeling bad that your transplant was cancelled due to this miscommunication or mess up. Still not able to understand what happened.
Regarding the six months timeline, it's not really easy to send money out of India by a business. These things are managed by the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA Act), I have never personally dealt with this act but it is definitely tough to send money abroad. However, it is only tough when large volume of money needs to the transferred abroad, I guess they mostly receive and do not send money out of the country, so don't know why they are taking six months. Maybe they have lots of clients cancel for various reasons and they need to stagger the payment.
I also want to pick your brain as to why you chose their lowest Rs 75 package, when in repair cases most people tend to the choose the most expensive package.
Edit: Just yesterday I sent $200 to my US stock broking account and was asked weird follow up questions by my bank via email, in addition to other declarations.

This solution is a bit out there. You can fake yourself as an "influencer" get a GST registration in India, get a repair in India, and claim that as an input tax credit in your GST by showing it as a business expense. Of course, no Indian clinic will ever agree to it. Obviously this is hypothetical, I'm not asking you to break the law or anything.

Unless you’re an influencer of some sort. I don’t see how you can claim a hair transplant. Maybe if you’re in the public eye, and your job requires you to keep up appearances. I know Trump claimed hair products in his taxes.
That is different from a tax refund. He claimed that as an expense in his income statement, thereby reducing his earned income on which tax is calculated.
Unless OP has a business that is influenced by his appearance, he cannot claim it as a tax write off.
3001 FUE grafts with Dr Sethi from Eugenix. March 1st to March 3rd.

I have never used fibers, so don't have much experience with them. But there was someone who was a repair patient as well. He opted for a natural Hairline and with hair fibers his results looked amazing.
