Dr Das from Eugenix is really good and would be much less $. Maybe something for you to consider? -
Dr. Sethi vs Dr. Bansai
Xanadu replied to ready4Hair's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Got it. Maybe III-V would be a better way to say that given that V is a roman numerical. -

Confused between Eugenix and Dr Gur
Xanadu replied to Knightrider's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
It's a bit tricky with the hairs still there. I would guess around 3500 grafts if perfectly done in between. Maybe Gur is being conservative and wanting the areas where there are already hairs to grow via medication, while Eugenix may feel that the existing hairs are almost not worth taking into account and a whole head needs to be done. I'm not a doctor so please consider these complete guesses. -
Personally I have seen a significant improvement, and I have talked with others who also have seen improvement after stating finasteride. I know the common narrative is that it reduces sperm with most medical studies showing either no impact or a reduction in up to about 20% of individuals. But at least some portion has an improvement. My doctor explained why like this: " While finasteride is primarily used to treat an unhealthy and enlarged prostate, it can also have an impact on the composition of semen and ejaculation. This is because the prostate gland plays a significant role in the production of seminal fluid, which is an essential component of semen. By reducing the irritating impact of DHT on the prostate gland and its size, finasteride can help to improve the function of the gland, leading to an increase in the amount of seminal fluid produced. In addition, finasteride may also have an impact on sexual function. Some studies have suggested that finasteride may lead to an increase in sexual desire and satisfaction, potentially due to the improved prostate function and higher levels of testosterone. However, it's important to note that the effects of finasteride on semen and sexual function can vary from person to person and may not be noticeable in every individual. Additionally, while finasteride can have potential sexual benefits for some men , it can also have side effects such as decreased libido, and decreased semen volume in others. In summary, while finasteride may have potential benefits for semen and sexual function, its effects can vary and should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional." My interpretation of this is that if you have thick semen, don't think of this as the healthy state of things, but rather the consequence of having an impaired prostate which is unable to produce the natural amount of semen fluid due to the negative impact of DHT.

No worries. This is a big decision and regret can certainly set in sometimes. I have seen many good results from Asmed. I don't think it's a bad clinic, but probably also not the best out there, and personally I would look at HLC, Gur, Turan, Bicer, Pekiner and a few others if I was looking at Turkey. I understand why you don't want to cancel and start over. On the other hand it's important that you have a good result. I hope you make the right decision and have a good result.

Great post. I don't know if you know this, but does anagen desynchronization also happen with only scalp hairs? I think I heard that it still happens around month 9-12 usually, but I'm not at all sure. But again - great advice from someone who no longer is in this club:

Who is/was your hair inspiration?
Xanadu replied to make_aaron_great_again's topic in Off-Topic Posts
Thinking more about it, there might have been someone. There was a guy that people told me I looked like, and I started to look at what he looked like - a young Val Kilmer. And actually one thing we had in common was hair colour and style at the time. But at the time I didn't much consider the hair part of the reason why some saw a resemblance.- 16 replies

Post operative pain, worried about infection?

I believe cobblestoning is from implanting the grafts too shallowly. -

Hair never meant much to me my whole life. Never thought about it neither in myself nor in others. Not until the last few years where I went from NW4 to NW6. That changed my looks more than I imagined, and I realize that hair is quite important. But I would still argue that I would be perfectly happy with a NW3 or there about and would never had considered or looked into a HT if I had stayed around there. In fact, I think that many NW3 or even 4 looks good like Jude Law and others. This hair-focused world is completely new to me, and I never knew there were people who focused so much on their and others' hair. I do feel that I'm kind of a late member of that group. Now I kind of get it, and would have been on fin earlier if I could go back in time- 16 replies

EUGENIX, DR DAS and TEAM, JANUARY... HOPEFULLY HELPFUL INSIGHT
Xanadu replied to ray35's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
Gatsby again. Has anyone ever been to Eugenix without meeting Gatsby? 😋 Nice write-up despite no pics. I plan to do my write-up when I get to 6 months, but so far my experience was the same as yours except that I stayed the first days at Westin. Nice hotel, but not the greatest location. I was told that it was impossible to go anywhere from there, and since I came a couple of days early it would have been nice to walk around and check out the area. Also no malls or shops close by. But yes, Eugenix itself was good and is ran very smoothly with people ready to help at every turn. Very similar to your impressions. -
Mine too. Well, I already did mine, and am exactly 4 months behind Etwan. My hair color is right in between this and Bandit's. But because I had the same "do it once, do it right" approach as Etwan (whereas bandit had a two-step procedure) I am following this very closely and hope for frequent updates 😃

Hair length: Weird comb-over look or see-through?
Xanadu replied to Xanadu's topic in Open Hair Loss Topics
Looking at his other videos on Youtube he was a NW6. In the end it seems he decided that having it layered over looked too weird like a comb-over, and he went with a shorter haircut in later videos. Someone like Melvin goes with the longer layover. Would be interesting to hear if there are the same comb-over thoughts? -
Hair length: Weird comb-over look or see-through?
Xanadu replied to Xanadu's topic in Open Hair Loss Topics
Yes, I also noted the missing temples. -
This guy talks about the troubles of finding the right lenght. How do you who have had a HT deal with this? Which length fits you the best you think? and do you observe that it looks like a comb-over if you try to make this overlay too much?

Up tp NW3-4 Dr Gur is a great option. Beyond that Eugenix is probably the better choice.
