  1. It looks like a hair piece to me too. I have never seen normal hair look like that.
  2. This guy is Cam... my favorite tennis commentator. BUT, when I look at his hair I wonder if it's real, and if it is whether it's a HT? Or a hairpiece? Or what? It seems almost too full and thick to be a fully natural result, doesn't it?
  3. Did you ask your dictor if you could keep using saline for that long? I think it should be fine, but would ask.
  4. I agre. This "I won't snitch", is not being moral - rather the opposite.
  5. I have a lot of chest hair too, but they said that beard hair grows better so they'll use that instead. Although still not as good as scalp hair. But as we age, its a good researve to have.
  6. Looks okay although you didn't get that much bang for your buck with 8000 grafts considering that you still had a lot of hair when you started and the crown is (still or did it thin further?) still thin. Are you on fin?
  7. Does anyone know if the surgeons and clinics that people in here are considering are starting to use this? Sounds great.
  8. I think the issue about which approach to take is very interesting. I am going myself in January and am not yet sure what would be best... like you or like Bandit? And I'm not totally sure what are the criteria to decide which is the best approach.
  9. Which approach did you go with? Bandit = front and scalp first, then crown next. General Etwan = front, scalp, and crown first, then next provide density to scalp and crown.
  10. Yes, I have heard surgeons say that too. Not related to hair thickness, but because of the lower contrast.
  11. Depends where you are destined by your genes, but if you are destined to be NW6 or 7 then yes it is a binary situation, all else equal. You are right that even finasteride is not always effective, but the odds are *very* bad to keep your hair if you genetically disposed to, and not using finasteride. So, of course things can always be qualified by circumstances, propensities etc, but if we take those into account then even saying "the sun will rise tomorrow" is not okay because "it is not as simple as that". And taking all kinds of reservations and outlining all kinds of eventualities whenever we say anything will make communication difficult and incredibly cumbersome to get any point across. In sum, for all intents and purposes, if someone is genetically destined to be high Norwood then yes, if they are not taking finasteride that is most likely exactly where they will end up.
  12. I've never had combovers and never would. I would feel horrible if I was walking around trying to hide something. So I have just kept a buzz and other shorter and shorter hairstyles... and I've been fine with that. Until it was getting a bit too much loss of hair... so then I thought to do SMP, but after shaving I didn't recognize myself... I still didn't use a hat, fibers, comb over or anything and didn't hide even if I wasn't too thrilled about the look. Others told me it looked good, but to me it looked like a different person. So I grew it out again... and am looking to do a HT now.
  13. Then I told them to keep their deposit and started growing it out again! So - now I'm headed for a HT instead.
  14. I considered it. Then, to prepare for SMP, I shaved - and got such a scare that I quickly dropped the idea of SMP....
  15. The e can be reads ns yes, but I still wonder my question 'how are you going to hold onto your hair long term with out?" Or you just accept it will go and eventually shave it all?
  16. Yes, I have scoured the web but found no cleat answer to what would be best or when each would be preferred.
  17. Bandit and Etwan had very similar balding, but quite differences HT procedures. Etwan choses to do the entire scalp and then add density as needed later. Meanwhile Bandit, with about the same number of grafts, chose to not touch crown until the second round. Which of these two approaches will have the best outcome? I have no idea....
  18. There is plenty of information about what to avoid the first days. Careful stepping out and into cars and so on. Also, about how to sleep with a neckpillow etc. All great pieces of advice. However, I am scared about wanting to scratch myself while I sleep. What if its itchy and you scratch your implanted area while sleeping - that would be horrible. So I am thinking about whether I can tie my hands up or something before sleeping (almost laughing saying that) but what other options are there? I guess finding a firm position before sleep and hoping all is well.
  19. I'll be there around 10 days and pretty much the same period as you.
