  1. probably is more potent that way because all the channels are open .i think the reason they dont want people to use minoxidil right after because it will be more painful but if you can endure it and dont get any scalp irirtation you should be fine. i assume you microneedle the recipient. if yes when did you start that area>
  2. they might be involved in other type of cosmetic surgeries and only do hair on the side. i would definately stay away from this place.
  3. if it works for you, keep doing it. i used 1.5 mm at the beginning but it was painful not so much in the back of the head but mid scalp and frontal section where the skin is thinner. i switched to 1 mm. there is no need to go so deep. all you have to do is stimulate the scalp. 24 hours later i use a mix of 50 ml alpecin forte tonic plus 2 ml 5% minoxidil in a spray bottle and massage it into the scalp. it really helps with blood circulation that you can feel immediately and very tense, i love it. i dont see a single hair in the drain and the hair is getting denser. i have been doing this almost one year.
  4. that is some crazy good improvement. now all you have to do is stay on top of that new hair . besides the meds maybe incorporate a a daily head massage, microneedling at least 2x/month and monitor the shedding. even though you were very young when you had your hair transplant. i think he made the right choice to get the hair transplant early as he did, as long as he follows a consistent hair protocol and monitors the shedding afterwards. good luck !
  5. you have extensive hair loss and require a lot of grafts from your donor. if you get butchered it will leave your donor site depleted.
  6. i would think as long as the hair do not cover the scalp. i dont think you want to expose any bare spot on your scalp
  7. no before and after pics, but the amount of hair is insane!
  8. some like microneedling others don't. i have personally used microneedling every second week 1 mm depth using dr pen #8 in conjunction with a mix of ( 2 ml minoxidil 5% plus 55ml alpecin forte tonic in a spray bottle) on the day after. alpecin forte is a great vasodialator and you can notice immediately how the blood is circulating in your scalp after use. i definately have seen improved hair quality and less fall out of hairs. using a mix of alpecin forte tonic with minoxidil does not leave your hair greasy after use. i still use it every day.
  9. your question was a very good one and so were all the answers you received. the 3 different confidence categories are only to help you to narrow it down . ultimately you want to fall into the faith based category. there is nothing wrong with wanting to look good for yourself. i think most of us do. the 3 categories merely point out that confidence does not just result from the physical (body) but also through the development of the mind and spirit. a hair transplant might as a side effect boost your confidence and it probably will but is not the end of it all.
  10. what confidence are we talking about? quote... there are 3 types of confidence. 1 . self centered confidence- or cockiness. we all know the persons that walks around like everything revolves around him because they have the perfect body or hair and when they don't get affirmation they suffer quietly. 2. perfection seeking confidence- people who think that if they perform good in all areas of life then they will be confident but if one area lacks it will be their downfall 3. faith based confidence- the true confidence) it is not dependent on outside forces but rather accepting the idea that tomorrow can be better than today and you get there even if you don't succeed at first but you continue trying ( like a mishap ht) so its best to ask yourself first the question why you want to go ahead with a ht and the answer will be in front of you.
  11. thank you for your answer. just one more question. when we see fantastic patient cases from your clinic of patients who got away with only one hair transplant. what would you say are the important "qualifiers" that most people would not know, to make it possible for them and your office procedure to achieve those results.
  12. sorry i misread your comments as "revise " (touch up) to the new hair transplant. but since we are on the subject matter. i see that most of your patient case outcome shows good density. do any of your patients after 12 months opt to do additional density work. judging from the pictures they look like one surgery alone was all that they needed.
  13. very natural hair line with exceptional density. is your ex wife begging you for forgiveness now?
  14. sofar i think you still got a good head of hair. i would first exhaust all the first line of defense like finasteride maybe have your doctor put you on a stronger medication like dutasteride or add minoxidil to the regiment. prp needs to be done on a monthly basis. you said you did it in may so you should have done it june, july maybe even more to get the benefit. it takes around 3-4 months to see any result with prp. a transplant is not going to stop your hair loss. you must first have that under control with the meds, prp, massage, micro needling and dont put any harsh chemicals on your hair including regulat shampoo or hair dye. use a shampoo that has ph balance and contains a dht blocker like nizoral. once you have the shedding under control then you can think about a hair transplant. i have been a client of dr bicer. she is an excellent ht doctor and pretty much the only choice in turkey.
