  1. The other thing is that you have to account for future hair loss. They used too many grafts and left him with fewer grafts if he continues to lose hair. That is poor planning on the part of the surgeons.
  2. That looks like too many grafts for that level of hair loss.
  3. I believe Dr. Epstein was taken off the recommended list by Pat, the owner, due to unethical behavior. That's what was posted earlier as well. I have heard of some instances of unethical behavior by Dr. Epstein as well from some other recommended surgeons because I was looking into getting a transplant with Dr. Epstein originally. I will say in the interest of openness and fairness that I ended up having my FUT surgery with Dr. Charles 12 years ago and am very happy with my results. He's an elite coalition member on here, which is the highest honor bestowed on surgeons here. I don't think people are judging Dr. Epstein based on his name. That would be extremely stupid to do. @Melvin- Moderator, has there been any update on this?
  4. Has there been any update on this? I got my FUT by Dr. Charles about 12 years ago (3,000 grafts) and my results have been great and I'm going to get FUE surgery for my crown with Dr. Charles. This is so out of character for Dr. Charles.
  5. Look into Dr. Vladimir Panine in Chicago. His prices are a steal for someone of his caliber in the US. Dr. Gabel, Dr. Charles, and Dr. Mohebi are great too. I don't know their prices though. Are you looking at FUE or both FUT and FUE? FUT tends to be more cheap. I wouldn't go to Dr. Bloxham for FUE. The vast majority of his work is FUT.
  6. I had an FUT with Dr. Charles about 12 years ago and my results have been great. I'm going to get an FUE for my crown with him soon. I've had friends and relatives who have gone to him and their results were great and there was nothing unethical about his behavior.
  7. Dr. Bernstein has instructions for after the surgery posted on his website. Here is the link: For FUE: https://www.bernsteinmedical.com/downloads/BernsteinMedical_Post-op_Instructions_FUE.pdf For FUT: https://www.bernsteinmedical.com/downloads/BernsteinMedical_Post-op_Instructions_FUT.pdf
  8. Yes, there are some great surgeons in India. I think Eugenix is probably the best in India.
  9. Sounds like it's a hair mill. There are much better options in Turkey. Take a look at this list: https://hairtransplantnetwork.com/best-hair-transplant-surgeons
  10. I think her work is good, nothing special. On her own website she states she does rhinoplasty, face lifts, blepharoplasty, etc. So I do have my facts straight. I would choose a surgeon who only performs hair transplant surgery. There is no way she's among the best. The other surgeons I mentioned are a lot better. Gabel does like 5 surgeries a week and he's involved in every part of the surgery and he does a ton of cases of greater than 2,000 grafts. His work is amazing. Konior is the best imo. Also, the notion that a surgeon has to be involved in every aspect of the surgery is a marker of good quality is BS. You can delegate some stuff to very qualified staff to get great results. Also, in Chicago Dr. Panine is better than Dr. Nadimi. He does every aspect of the surgery too. I think his price is less than Dr. Nadimi.
  11. There is no way Nadimi is the among the best in the US. Konior is definitely the best. Nadimi doesn't even do sessions greater than like 2,000 grafts and does a lot of other surgeries asides from hair transplants. Gabel is way better than Nadimi and is a Konior protege and only does hair transplants. Dorin, Panine, Mohebi, Wesley, Charles, Shapiro, H&W and Cooley are among the best.
  12. I had my FUT surgery with Dr. Charles like 12 years ago and am very happy with my results. He's an extremely skilled and ethical surgeon. I recommend him wholeheartedly. I'm going to go with him again for my crown work.
  13. Is it still true that you can get more grafts over a lifetime by having FUT and then FUE? I heard that FUT is also better for finer hair. Is that true too?
