I thought most surgeons wanted patients to stop using minoxidil like 3-5 days before surgery since that's its terminal half life:

Does anyone know about the viability rates of using beard and chest hairs for a scalp hair transplant? I've got ample beard and chest hair and want to use them on my scalp. Which surgeons do you recommend for this?
I've never heard of him either. It looks like he does a lot of other surgeries asides from hair transplants. I would go to a surgeon who only does hair transplants. Are you looking for FUT or FUE? Are you restricted to any location? Are you on finasteride and minoxidil?
Don't steroids impair wound healing? I know it helps with edema. Medrol is methylprednisolone which I think only comes in liquid form whereas prednisone is in oral form.
I would just stick to dutasteride twice per week. It's half life is very long and it's more effective in lowering DHT level because it inhibits both of the isoforms of 5-alpha reductase. It'll be simpler too to just use dutasteride. Are you on oral minoxidil too?
