  1. I'm still researching about HT and I list a few questions below for more experienced pals to guide me: 1) Is there any advantage of creating slits and then placing grafts using a Choi implanter instead of doing a DHI (directly using a Choi implanter to make incisions and place grafts)? I was told the former method allows for assessment of the quality of the extracted graft before implanting it, which is not happening in DHI. 2) Is it true that using Choi implanter produces better results than using forceps because of greater control? 3) Which method is the safest for graft survival: 'DHI' vs. 'stick and place' vs. 'creating slits and then placing grafts using a Choi implanter' vs. 'creating incision and placing grafts using forceps'? 4) What is the most non-invasive method of graft extraction for faster healing? 5) What is a safe graft density to put per cm sq? Some clinics claim they can put 50-60 grafts per cm sq, but there are also some clinics who tell that high density like that may cause lower graft survival due to competition of the implanted grafts for blood supply.
  2. Hi guys, just wanted to know your hair transplant experience in India. Where did you go for the surgery and how that turned out?
  3. Did you do a transplant with him?
  4. I have reviewed and excluded (due to approach, attitude, cost, etc.) all doctors in India to come up with the following list for my HT: Dr. Anil Garg, FISHRS, ABHRS Dr. Rajesh Rajput, FISHRS Dr. Sandeep Sattur Dr. Satya Saraswat, ABHRS I'd like to hear if anyone had any hair transplant experience with any of these doctors (good or bad). All of them seem to be quite experienced but I not sure how likely it is to get a good result. I have Norwood-4 baldness level. Most doctors estimated between 2500-3000 grafts will be required. Dr. Anil Garg said I would need 5000 grafts and he is willing to take 2000 grafts from my beard. Also, can anyone explain the pros and cons of "stick and place" FUE method?
