  1. Dear Rahal Hair Transplant, The more detailed your answer, the better it is for me. Thank you so much. You have put my mind at ease. When I remember that I am running out of hair on donor area after my first HT, it is very hard not to stress about my result.
  2. Thank you so much for taking the time and answering my questions and giving your advice.
  3. @Eugenix Hair Sciences @gillenator Hello, I am sorry to disturb you with this question again. I am asking since I could not get a proper answer from my clinic. I have been under excessive stress more than 3 months. Turns out the more you stress, the more it gets harder to get out of it. Now I am trying to stop stressing. Despite the high stress hairline is growing very well. It has been 4 months now since my HT. But the top is still rare. I am wondering if more than 3 months of stress can damage the transplanted follicles. Last time I asked about only 2 weeks of stress. Cortisol and adrenaline can make follicles go to resting phase and hair loss is temporary because follicles return to growing phase. But what happens with transplanted follicles? Aren't they vulnerable after being transplanted and can they be damaged and never return to growing phase??? Are there any scientific research ? I highly appreciate you honest comments. Thank you in advance!
  4. Thank you so much for your attention. @RTC @mafpe @Berba11 @SeanToman @BeHappy I asked my clinic about it and after seeing the photos, they are saying that it is a twisted white tissue that surrounds the hair in a graft. However when I picked one off, I was sure that it was a fabric. I should've taken a photo or kept it until now. I don't know the clinic confused me. They are asking me to trust the doctor. The clinic manager says if foreign object was planted some serious issues would occur with the skin up to this time. The white thing in the photo was taken on 11th day and swelling after 3 months. Not sure when exactly they appeared but it has been quite long I think. They are persisting so I started to worry, before that thought it was normal and they would disappear. @Berba11yes you are right. The fabric and swelling are not at the same place. I just thought maybe where the swelling is, the fabric was planted deep inside without visible part above. Yes it is a turkish clinic called "Turkey hair academy" in Istanbul. It is very cheap one and someone on this forum will not go there even if I advise it I think. I am attaching photos before and after scabs removal. Maybe the clinic is right but I thought it was 100% fabric from the gauze at that time. Maybe I am right or wrong. But if swelling disappears, can i calm down? Or can fabric still be present and staying silent under the skin. I am just afraid it may cause some serious consequences to the skin. You probably heard stories of people who had injury on his foot/bone with pus and without proper care it was amputated. Such stories are scary.
  5. Hi there! It has been 3 months since my HT. During my FUE DHI surgery , grafts (4680) were collected on many small gauzes and when grafts were being planted on my scalp, a small piece of the gauze was planted together with them on several spots as I noticed when I removed scabs on 10th day wash. However I didn't pay a proper attention to them maybe because I was excited about new hairs or thinking other problems. I didn't touch them. I remember removing one but don't remember removing all of them at one time. I even did not think about them like a problem at all then. I am wondering how I could not come to an idea that if they stay inside it may cause problems in the future. Now I have 4 small (5-6 mm in diameter) swelling on my recipient area which do not go away since many days. I thought they are temporary and should heal but they are still there. When I touch it, it is hard under the skin and it is a little painful. I don't know what the reason is but I am suspecting maybe a little piece of gauze was left under the skin and it is causing it. What can happen if a piece of gauze is left under the scalp and with help of which equipment we can find that out and how to remove it without damaging the graft if it is there ? 🤔 I am attaching one photo of gauze being planted together with a graft. There were several similar spots on the recipient area.
  6. Thank you. I've checked your journey and your result is amazing. You paid a good price. For such cost , the result must be as you have now. I paid only 1450 USD lol but the price was with discount, normally it costs $2000, let us see what the result will be with a cheap clinic. It was cheap because it was performed by techs in Istanbul but I hope they are experienced enough. I am more concerned about my post-op mistakes (like lifting up heavy object after 2 months if it is a mistake of course, letting someone hold my recipient area firmly for about 5-10 minutes after 2 months. This case was described in a separate topic). I am just paying extra special attention to everything that might have had a negative impact on my grafts. I am just so afraid of damaging my grafts. I am afraid that I may go crazy before I reach 6 months because of being under excessive stress.
  7. Thanks a lot for paying attention and answering. They sent to my whatsapp instructions right after the procedure saying light exercises after 3-4 weeks and heavy ones after 1.5 months. That's why I felt comfortable lifting up heavy object. But I wonder why unpleasant feelings still occur on the scalp after 8 weeks while heavy lifting. Don't they indicate that something bad is happening to the scalp and grafts ?
  8. Thanks for your answer. I also thought that it was no problem until I felt a heavy sensation on my recipient area maybe because of strain and big amount of blood coming to scalp veins . At that time I did not pay too much attention because of work but now I am concerned that it may result in some unwanted outcome like slightly moving the grafts or something else which I don't know.
  9. Hi my friends, I am concerned about lifting 4 pcs heavy equipment which weighs approximately 250kg two days in a row 2 months after my FUE DHI. I work in company supplying medical equipment and I had to install 4 pcs laminar boxes. 6-7 people were involved including me in lifting and bringing it into the building. Idk how many kg I lifted as the equipment's weight is not distributed evenly. Among my clinic's post-op instructions I saw that waiting 1.5 months for heavy sport was enough, that's why I thought it was no issue but after bringing it inside , I felt some heavy sensation and pressure on my recipient area. I think I also felt every incision made on my recipient area. It passed after some time but then I regretted lifting it. It was the first time I did such thing post-op. Is it normal after 8 weeks that I have unpleasant feeling on my recipient area when I lift heavy object, if not why is it allowed to do heavy sports at this time post-op? Do you think after 8 weeks grafts can be somehow affected or moved if I lifted a heavy object because of strain ? Everytime I make a mistake and then realize that it was a bad decision. Never thought before my HT, I will struggle and there will be so many mistakes. Can someone share his experience if you also went through similar situation and what was the outcome at the end? Your honest replies will be highly appreciated. Thank you for being part of this network and replying everytime I ask.
  10. Thank you so much for your reply. It was really stupid of me going there and believing such things. It is so great that such network exists and we can get experts opinions.
  11. Thank you so much for taking time and replying. I checked my scalp right away if there was blood or dislodged graft and everything seemed ok. I was just wondering even if they don't fall out, can they be damaged while being under epidermis/scalp. After hair transplant, I am thinking the grafts are very fragile that they can be hurt easily, I hope I am wrong and just overthinking.
  12. Thank you for your reply. Yes, it sounds very strange. But there is a belief in our religion that reading that book may help when you can't get relaxed while being under excessive stress. My friend did not tell that spirits may be affecting me, i wanted to tell that it could heal our soul not spirit, i used a wrong word. I was stressed because i thought maybe i went to wrong clinic, used tap water etc. that my result will be very bad. So he suggested to go there. As stress is also bad for hair, i just went there thinking maybe it could help. It didn't :)))), i want to have a really good result that I am ready to do msny things for that even such things that may sound crazy😀
  13. Hello friends, I am 2 months (56 days) post-op. I know that at this point grafts are securely rooted and can't be dislodged but can they be damaged if someone gripped/holded the recipient area firmly with applying some pressure for about 5-10 minutes with one hand? No blood and pain, just felt some pressure. You may wonder under what circumstances it could happen to me but it did happen to me today so I am wondering if it could damage the hair bulb/hair root. I am ashamed to tell you this but you should know the details to be able to evaluate the situation accurately. I was so stressed about my hair because of some little mistakes and someone suggested to go to priest to make calm our soul by reading holy book so that get rid of being under stress. But the opposite happened, it raised my anxiety even more. I was kinda shy to tell him not to touch my scalp because he was saying outloud words and i could not interrupt him, i know that i was stupid not to tell. He held firmly my recipient area with his one hand. Our non-transplant hairs have been so many times under pressure in different situations and no problem happened to them. What about transplanted grafts, do they act same in such situations or are they fragile and vulnerable after being extracted and transplanted? I really appreciate your answers, i just want to have an idea of its consequences.
  14. Today I made an order for a water filter. My only regret is not doing it right after hair transplant. Thanks for your reply.
