I never said I didn’t like eugenix , I’ve even said they’re a good clinic in particular dr sethi . But people on this forum push them as if they’re the holy grail of transplants when they’re not . When people say they’re one of the best at donor management and then you see 7 cases of shock loss and over harvesting then your argument becomes obsolete. There was another case just this week where a simple restoration was done poorly . My point is that they’re a good clinic but not one of the best as people push on this forum . There are far better options like konoir , couto , bisanga , pinto and so on

You can spin it around and say the same thing about good results lol, the thing is people tend to post bad results on a forum because they need to vent like yourself . Seen it today with a couto case , where it was very poor and the guy created a thread to say it . I have not seen 8 on this forum I think I’ve seen a few subpar, but also seen some excellent results on this forum so let’s keep this balanced . I’ve seen subpar results from eugenix and poor donor management, but people on this forum still push them as this holy grail when they’re not. While they are good, there are better options out there and not the best as some will continue to push on this forum

Yes agree it’s the post op pic thats worrying and shows a lack of density that is not associated with couto. There was an identical one on Spanish forum from de Freitas where the post op looked similar, clear lack of density and it turned out sparse at 12 months . Even the best have off days and sub pars . But after 12 months a overall consensus can be established so will have to wait as Melvin said

Yeh I’ve re typed it as my auto correct was playing up. I just said you don’t know till your try the drug .If you get sides then fine stop , but not even attempting to try the only medically proven drug to Stop Hair loss is naive without giving it a go. As I said i assume your from america so I hope your scheduled with konoir , or one of the top ones in europe who can use minimal grafts to get a great results as you said you had sufficient funds . As your going to need great donor management as dht will eventually thin your donor.

Who is Kevin Mann lol , you keep going on about this guy , is he a doctor . Im just stating facts that the only available medication to stop Hair loss is finasteride. Not saying their are not side effects, but the only way your going to know if you get them is if you try, if you do then stop . It’s because of these stories online that prevented me from initially taking it, the op here is taking fin and as result it’s very likely he would need minimal intervention than two or more like you will need , that’s if your transplant even turns out good which is by far no guarantee. Also your mistaken with your reasoning that “ I’ll just get more hair transplants” is dht will minaturise your donor at some point. I assume your based in america so I hope If you are going down this route your going with someone like konoir

Guys don’t listen to this guy he goes around posting studies about finasteride , trying to scare people . Finasteride and dutasteride the only way to stop hair loss, minoxidil won’t do nothing unless you stop hair being lost in the first place

Ok either way your going through a tough time so I don’t want to seem as I’m being passive aggressive . No one as has asked what you hope to now get out of this . What would in your mind be a good resolution for you going forward

I’m finding this so hard to follow, I really think until pre pics from both surgeries are given , it’s very difficult to unravel what’s going on here . Either way with your skin condition both the clinic and dermatologist should of said it made you unsuitable for hair transplant

All I will say is your obviously an advanced Norwood and not taking a dht blocker is setting you up for disaster. FYI I had sky high t levels as I did prior bloodwork , which made me comfortable into taking fin because I knew as a result my body could handle the reduction in dht due to my t picking up the slack and so it proved . I only wish I took it earlier as I wouldn’t even need to consider a future procedure if I did . As you can see I had levels of 960ng/dl and 1200 ng/dl which I converted for you as uk use different units lol, so no transition here lol

Your last sentence didn’t make any sense to me tbh, the result is the overriding thing that matters, infact it the only thing that matters . I looked at the thread and tbh the only problem I see was that the temples didn’t look right initially and there was no follow up , but the result is now looking great and I’m sure all of this will be forgotten . The representative has stated they should of reached out more to pacify the patients concerns. Beside that don’t see what else is the problem now

No their not dht proof just more stronger agaisnt dht , it’s why you see thin donors when you get older and people with hair loss have thinning sides, it’s why no matter how old you are fin is recommended for hair loss . Because the transplant hair can miniaturise just like native hair
