Caution on getting hair transplant
mr_peanutbutter replied to Recession1's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
the video was interesting, thank you i agree with some others, that op seem very neurotic and hence might be not a good candidate for that reason alone getting a hairtransplant is understanding that it wont be perfect especially as time continues. with age every donor thins, even in men who dont really suffer from mpb. and once senile alopecia hits even women go bald to a certain degree. but if you worry how your hair looks with 83 then ht isnt the best decision. however would be interested in the microscopic images -
there should be a new criteria for those super advanced stages of baldness. we get more and more into territory where you can get quiet good coverage for these typical norwood 6/7 end norwood stage that many men reach (zarev, eugenix, pittella) but those super advanced stages like captain picard its still really difficult even with bodyhair hence i like the system of pittella that goes up to norwood 9/10 and also takes headsize and shape into account super impressive result from eugenix again, by the way

2nd transplant, considering Dr Yaman
mr_peanutbutter replied to Mascherano's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
dr yaman is a good option if your budget is tight, you could also consider farres seffen from tunis or jean luc portelli (makta) who are in a similar price range -
i think you still need to be careful though, neograft for example is not as good apparently and not the system zarev is using Quote: Suction was used in the neograft system to try and simplify the extraction process and combine the steps of punching and excising out the grafts. The graft would travel through a tube to be stored in a compartment. The problem is that the grafts desiccated and died. Suction has not proven to be the good historically with fue. I’ve heard zarev uses his own device that I assume is an off the shelf unit with some add-ons. He’s seemed to figure something out that others haven’t. but with all that being said, I’d choose skill of a surgeon over the tools any day.

sometimes i wished i had hairloss in 2015 already so i could have booked with dr zarev before the waiting list was 4 years and the price 9 eur per graft

If i read the below quote correctly, 2700 grafts extracted by another, actually quite respected surgeons limited the donor capacity from 14.000 to 9.000, so besides the 2.700 grafts extracted another 2.300 grafts became unusable. Quote: - I used 2700 grafts previously by Dr Saifi & Dr Zarev said this is an issue with this part of the donor. - If possible it really is better for patients to not have previous surgeries as it limits the use of his technique in this important zone in the back of the head. - Many surgeons using larger punches cause damage to the donor area. - I have 3000 grafts left in this area with grafts that have average quality. - If I did not have a previous surgery I would have had 14,000 grafts lefts so more than enough to cover my worse case scenario. My donor to me doesnt seem strong so this was very surprising. -I have 9000 grafts left, 6000 from the sides of very good quality hairs, 3000 from the back of average quality but no retrogade alopecia.

Dr Zarev Consultation - Surgery in November 2024.
mr_peanutbutter replied to hairman22's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
will monitor this closely its hard to read though that according to zarev even very reputable surgeons basically destroy the donor with the common extraction technique @BlueSkyDay -
how are these patients selective? of these patients would get rejected for not being a suitable candidate by many other clinics or get told to manage their expectations to a degree that half of their head would remain bald. first people said, the results of zarev are fake then they said, oh he only picks selected patients with thick coarse black bulgarian hair. the truth is way simpler. he is just better then the other clinics at this points and i think that his device plays a big part in that. for the rest i agree with you though. hopefully him now able to charging 9 eur per graft will motivate some other doctors to catch up. https://www.instagram.com/p/C0E25hNqOPf/?hl=de&img_index=2 https://www.instagram.com/p/CzgSB_VK2M7/?hl=de&img_index=4 https://www.instagram.com/p/B0-3IjlHsUJ/?hl=de&img_index=4 https://www.instagram.com/p/BuHzHMsgj7q/?hl=de&img_index=4

Fuegenix New punch like zarev?
mr_peanutbutter replied to Konsole93's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
he should probably do a lot of advertising in california, i heard that 9 eur per graft are almost normal prices there however i think its good he raises prices that much cause maybe it will motivate other surgeons to find similar or even better solution and catch up with his results. if he does like 1-2 surgeries per week, he brings home 800.000 usd home every months, with a team of like 3-5 people. if that isnt motivation then i dont know -

zarev result looks different tbh its no coincidence that zarevs results are unmatched when it comes to donor -

Dr. Pittella - 6642 grafts - 25 years old
mr_peanutbutter replied to tairony's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
btw, i like this extraction pattern, many surgeons go often a bit too high in the middle and the crown often dips in that part -

i think 6k is needed to match density of crown and sides so far op only seems to bald in in norwood 4 pattern, if he stays that way it will be all good. medication probably is still advicable though
