  1. That would honestly be so helpful to the forum just as a reminder to people that even if you go with a great surgeon there’s no such thing as scarless surgery. Especially if you happen to be a bad scarrer.
  2. De Freitas is never scared to go aggressive and give his patients the hairlines he knows they want rather then stay safe and be conservative and he has been killing it with all the recent results and I expect no less with you. Everything looks great! 👍
  3. Amazing to see a 13 year update. But forgive me for honestly speaking…you got suckered into going to a hyped up horrible surgeon with no real patient posted excellent results on this forum who did you wrong…only to seek a consult with another surgeon with no real excellent patient posted results on this forum? Nothing against Farjo but why don’t you get the opinion of someone like Dr. Bisanga or Dr. Feriduni for example who specialize in repairs? I wish you the best either way.
  4. I have always been impressed with Dr. Laorwong’s work. I think he’s underrated in the community when discussing the better surgeons. Good to see a patient posted thread. 👍
  5. First and foremost, Dr. Bloxham, while being very pro fut is an ethical and talented surgeon who used to be the moderator of this forum. You need to be in contact with him as I’m sure he’d be the first to tell you this is not an ideal outcome. He may recommend a biopsy or other medical tests to see if there is an underlying condition. Having said that, even if he offers you a free surgery, after possibly two possibly unsatisfactory surgeries with the same surgeon you need to try a different approach especially considering the status of your donor area. If you choose to do a repair you need to look into other options. It looks like you have strong beard hair in the photos you posted. Look into a clinic with great experience extracting beard hair like Eugenix in the future if you are still unsatisfied after 12 months.
  6. Always great to hear from the best doctors. If you ever questioned the ethics of h&w all you needed to hear to dispel that was in this interview when Dr. Hassan mentioned the fact that they bought the extremely expensive Artas machine but never used it on a patient because they realized it was garbage. You don’t use patients as experiments.
  7. There is always a small chance of permanent shock loss when implanting grafts around miniaturized hairs. You minimize this risk if your hair loss is stabilized with medication like finasteride and minoxidil as well as choosing a great surgeon who takes care while implanting to not cause too much trauma to your scalp. Research some more surgeons that are recommended here before making your decision.
  8. Fascinating to see the repair in your donor area. I do think you benefit though from being a great “scarrer” as well, meaning I don’t see much hypopigmentation or hyperpigmentation. You’ve been gracious in sharing your journey with the donor area but I would really love to see you post a thread detailing your transplants with the results in your recipient area after each procedure as well if you ever get around to it.
  9. If possible can you post some better quality updated photos please including the normal way you style your hair under normal lighting and bad lighting as well. I only say that because anyone with a hair transplant or heck even sometimes without hair loss at all can make their hair look bad under bright bathroom lighting while parting their hair. I appreciate your update because it’s always good for the community to see an updated post on a hair transplant result whether the patient is happy or unhappy.
