Yes update please?

Adding day 14 pics for record before the ugly duckling stage hits, I couldn’t be happier with my early results thus far, Dr Nadimi is brilliant!

Looking good buddy, just have to have patience, but definitely see a very nice hairline forming. I’m on day 14 and my hair looks perfect, dreading the ugly duckling stage that I know is right around the corner but it’s all part of the process.

Just read through the Reddit post, this so called Dr sounds like an immature spoiled little child and I’m being nice right now!

I take one 5mg pill per week on Sunday evenings, been taking it that way for years and it worked well for me.

Lol I’ve been joking with my wife all week about growing my hair out this summer… telling her to call me Fabio🤣🤣🤣🤣

I’m 10 days out from my HT with Dr Nadimi and couldn’t be happier with my new hair/ hairline, she’s definitely a hair artist! I posted earlier today if you want to take a look at my early results!

Happy thanksgiving everyone, thought I would post an update, today is day 10 from my hair transplant with Dr. Nadimi, all I can say is Wow, I’m thrilled with my new hairline, the scabs pretty much softened up on their own, used Aquaphor starting on day 7, woke up today, showered and my scalp is looking good, I’m going to enjoy this why I can’ as I know ugly duckling stage could come anytime, in the meanwhile I’m going out as much as possible, lol cheers everyone!

You can sleep on your back at 7 days post opp with out any issues.

I’m 10 days out and have been taking Benadryl to help, works like a charm and it also helps with any itching

I checked into a nice hotel the day after my transplant, my Airbnb sucked so we moved on, anyways it was huge resort style hotel, I didn’t give a crap what people thought, I was just so happy to see my new hairline, in fact my wife and I went down to the hotel bar that evening, it was packed, I still had a white wrap in my donor area and we both sat at the bar, I had a cold beer and some apps, was waiting for someone to ask me about it, nobody cared but I did notice there was one bar tender kind of eyeing me but he was balding pretty bad and was probably really curious, but he never said a word to me, if he would of I would been excited to talk about it with him, Don’t worry about it, just be careful you don’t bang your head.

Is that a young Melvin? do your research should be the motto of anyone thinking of getting a HT, im grateful to this forum for helping educate me and find a wonderful doctor in Dr Nadimi.

Looking great mate, I know what you mean about being paranoid of doing the cleaning yourself but it gets easier every day, I’ll be on day 7 tomorrow.

I’m 6 days out, as of today only my wife knows, but I decided I will tell my extended family, and probably some close friends because I feel like a new man, can’t say enough how much a framed hairline changes your look and how good it feels, I want to share my story to help others who may be struggling with it. The way I look at it is I work out, eat healthy, and take good care of myself because I want to stay healthy and look good for as long as possible, keeping my hair goes along with it, no different than having cosmetic dental work done!

I went down to the hotel restaurant two days afterwards for some appetizers, had my procedure on Nov 14th didn’t care what anyone thought because I was so excited with seeing my new hair line. I’ve since returned home and I’ve been staying home resting because I want to get through my first 10 days with proper rest and healing, but I am planning on heading out for a beer and dinner on day 14, besides some dryness in my recipient area I look pretty dam good, lol

@stephcurry30thankyou, I feel the same, It’s the greatest feeling to see a hairline again, even though it’s a few days out from surgery, having hair that frames your face makes all the difference in the world, Dr Nadimi and the entire Chicago hair institute staff have been awesome, I’ll keep the forum posted!

I already feel like a new man, I know I’m going to go through the ugly duckling stage in a few weeks but just seeing how good and natural it looks makes me so happy, I have no doubt it will be a grand slam! Btw they have amazing aftercare, 100% dedicated to their patients!

She is awesome, I’m only 4 days out and it looks almost a 100% healed, I have a full head of hair:)

I was on fin for 15 years, did take a year break from it recently but may start back on it, going to give oral minoxidil a try first, I strongly believe the fin worked well for me as my Dad was bald at 25, I lift weights consistently and do light cardio and that counteracts the sides of fin.

I agree with @WhereIsMyMind you should try oral minoxidil it seems to work well for diffused thinning, wait until you’re older to think about a HT.
