  1. Looks obvious to me Kirk had a transplant, his hair looks great now, he was balding in college now has a full head of hair.
  2. First let me say I’m sorry you are dealing with this, I have no idea if a scar of this nature is considered normal this early after surgery but based on what I have seen from my doctor it’s not. I believe what is supposed to be done is they do a small HT within the scar so that hair grows as the scar heals and ultimately the scar becomes invisible. I would reach out to Dr Sahar Nadimi in Chicago, she specializes in both female/ male hair transplants and female hairline lowering surgery. You can search her HT results here from patients and review her Instagram where I have seen post on forehead/ hairline reduction surgeries, which I understand she specializes in. I was there in November for a HT and my experience was great. I hope everything works out for you. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CoDc4G7JnpR/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
  3. Hairline looks unnatural to me, not terribly but not a good transplant.
  4. Dr Nadimi is excellent, she also does forehead reduction surgery for patients that meet the criteria, you can search her name here and look at results, also she has an Instagram.
  5. I’ve been pretty lucky, that my ugly duckling stage hasn’t been really bad, but recently I’ve been losing a bit more hair in the hair line, but it’s because I can see little hairs popping through so hopefully growth is around the corner, thanks again for the detailed thread, looks great and enjoy your new hair, you’re proof that hair is life changing.
  6. That’s an incredible transformation, I’m coming up on 3 months and looking through your thread is helpful for me, what have your friends and family said, did you tell everyone or let them wonder?
  7. Cancel…never rush a life changing decision, top surgeons don’t need to advertise and have a long waitlist, do a lot more research and don’t rush into surgery!
  8. I just checked my post op instructions and it said careful sun exposure after 3 weeks, if in direct sun use sunscreen on recipient area.
  9. I have sensitive skin and use Cere Ve, one of the only ones I tried that was non irritating, also used it in my head and it never seemed to be an issue, not sure why it would matter as the grafts are already secure but would check with your doc, I was told. After 14 days I couldn’t hurt them, but I understand the concern.
  10. Agree, I remember another case recently by Dr Charles that had a similar issue in terms of graft paid for versus graft implanted, and the work wasn’t very good, not sure why this forum would continue to keep a doctor on a list that isn’t consistent. When I first became a member on this forum someone kept emailing me privately telling me how great Dr Charles was, good thing I did my research, my eyes don’t lie, easy to pic out poor quality.
  11. I’m 2 months out and have growth already, look @lindros88and @AStark both a few months ahead of me and you will see the difference between a truly elite surgeon and a someone that should no longer be recommended on this forum.
  12. I’m not a fan of Dr Charles work, with that said you had a large area to fill, did you expect that this could be covered in one procedure? Should of been a two day procedure or planning of two procedures over time, I don’t like the approach of sprinkling in hair and expecting someone will be happy just because they are bald, density is not good and the post op pics show that. Go see Dr Nadimi or Dr Konior in the states!
  13. A quick update…Just outside of two months, donor was undetectable after the first week, still have some slight redness and a pimple here or there but honestly it’s been a breeze. I’ve opted to keep my hair short, have not had to hide it at all, never wore a hat unless it was really cold outside. if anyone has noticed they haven’t said a word to me and I’m out socializing all the time. I am starting to see some hairs ready to sprout so I expect growth to be here soon, will update at month 3.5.
  14. 6 months you should be looking good as long as you go to a good surgeon. Look at @AStarkand @lindros88both are around that timeframe and look like they have full growth.
  15. Dr. Nadimi, works in the same office as Konior, same technique and techs, constantly delivers amazing results.
  16. I just showed your update to my wife, she said the same thing, I said,”Wow looks fantastic!” Congratulations again buddy! I’m actually starting to look for a new hairstyle because I’ve been sporting the buzz cut look for the last few years to hide my hairloss, and based on your and @lindros88results I believe I’ll be ready in a month and a half, I am already seeing hairs popping out of my hairline. So thankful for this forum and for Dr. Nadimi.
