This had me a little concerned tbh. Maybe you or the others can help.

Does this mean you have to basically enter to India within 60 days of the original date the medical Visa was scheduled for?

Or that you can re-arrange and have it take place later but the medical Visa is only valid for 60 days from entry?

I have no idea bro.  I'm trying to figure it out myself, with my procedure being at the end of April!

I would suggest deleting this response and the replies to it, to avoid confusing people coming to the thread. e-Visas for India are NOT available to UK passport holders.

Be wary of false websites and visa agents online claiming otherwise. Stick to official websites when seeking information.

The official website for Indian visas is https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/

Thanks for the link. I haven't done any e-visa or medical visa yet

Im still in discussion with Eugenix regarding procedure dates.  Your posts are always helpful regarding travel!

The ugly duckling phase sucks, I am going through it as well, we all know how difficult it is!

On the other hand, your donor looks great, though!

Regarding hair fibers during that phase, a lot of doctors are against it (during the first 3 months or) and my guess is that most people won't bother washing their hair and might end up going to bed with hair fibers every night, it would be interesting to see what other people say about that

I believe hair fibers are safe to use after 3 weeks to 4 weeks. It really depends on your situation and how well you have healed up. Most patients feel like they are completely fine after the first haircut, so I would assume that is the perfect time to apply fibers after the first haircut :)

The only thing that I would say that takes time would be going out on a hot day with direct sun light without wearing a hat. I would probably wait 2 to 3 months just to be completely on the safe side!

    Hi all!

@George Clooney thanks for your find words! You are right, the procedure was on 11/20/21.

My hair growth, in general, has been prolonged, and I have seen that my nails also are not growing much, so last week, I started taking vitamins to work on it. I got my first haircut yesterday since the procedure, so I thought about sharing the pics. I think I will need a few months more to see a real change. I will try to post photos in a month to see if the vitamins are helping.

It's growing really well my friend.

And everything looks like its nicely framed for the face!

I feel confident to have my procedure with Dr Arika.

  5. @track_ratHello sir,

I understand that you might be concerned every time you check yourself in the mirror. It can be a difficult time but you gotta be patient before making judgement. I gotta admit after looking at your donor area I thought there is no hope for you, but at the same time you had two things that were in your favor: Excellent hair characteristics and you were being taken care of by one of the best Doctors we have on the planet.  Try and spend less time in front of the camera checking yourself constantly. Trust me I did that as well in my first procedure, it can be exciting and nerve-racking! Always remember that whatever happens with this result, it is always better than how you start :) Eugenix have given you a very good hairline, it is already showing that its full of soft singles. The crown area will take a while to grow and thicken up, it is full of beard grafts after all which taken much longer than regular hair follicles to mature and dense up

Anyway, you are very early and patience is definitely key here as many of the fantastic people commenting have told you.

One thing that concerned me was were the grafts that were old grafts on a temple side were extracted still manage to grow back? Did you discuss this with the clinic?

As for now, wish you happy growth sir! :)

  6. Hi,

Regarding beard transplatation... unless they take the grafts from existing beard, don't do it.

Ive seen too many people get beard transplantation from Turkey, and they take all the grafts from scalp donor area (which is f**** crazy) because those grafts are precious... not only that but the result ends up being very thick hairs on both sides of the cheeks which results in a very unnatural result. It looks like a hollywood beard that would be used in movies.

Anyway, as I said. Please make sure the clinic that you choose take the beard grafts from the beard itself, usually from under the chin. If you want an example of a good beard transplantation search Matt Dominance on YouTube, he thickened his beard the same way and it came out undetectable and natural

    Good luck sir :)

  7. Hello sir,

Your best hope for a successful result would be to go to someone that has excellent donor area management

You have very fine hair, i wouldn't say thin but it is on the finer side. You must also consider have a very high hairline, this will ensure a large number of grafts for maximum coverage throughout the entire scalp and deep into the crown area, aswell as some beard grafts into the ''balding donor area'' at the back since the progress was so severe.

I have attached below a rough estimate of what you would be looking at to have a presentable coverage of ''illusion''

Im not a Doctor nor a hair consultant, just a stranger on a forum trying to help out. But I'd say it would do the job.

Regarding hair transplant procedure, with a case like yours it would probably take 2 procedures.

Im going to repeat, please find someone who is excellent with donor area management... or else you will end up with alot of hair on top and an absolutely destroyed back and side!

Since I saw you wrote about Eugenix, you are in safe hands

    Good luck sir 😊

    Yes agreed.

One thing I would say looking at this case a second time is that the frontal hairline is *slightly* sparse/pluggy in pics.

    image.png.015462659a65f5520ab51e0c384ec2f5.png

It's a tough balance between survival and density but this is probably at the lower end of what we see from Eugenix (which is a testament to their consistency).

If OP usually wears his hair down or doesn't mind it's probably not worth a second pass, but he might benefit from a few hundred along the hairline.

    Hi sir,

I get what you're saying but i'd like you to see it from a different perspective

It might look sparse at first sight, but this isn't even his final result. He has at least 2-3 months left of final growth. Even if it was his final result, the hairs are all thin singles on the first 2 rows, which is all that matters!

This patient has very dark hair follicles and since it is styled upwards, it may give you the conclusion that the grafts might of been implanted in upward incorrect direction giving a pluggy appearance.. which isn't the case here.  Eugenix are masters of creating the perfect slits, for the grafts to be implanted. All you have to do is have a look at those perfect temple points.  Also, it's pretty tight on the hairline.. not sure where you plan on implanting grafts and I bet there is some crazy direct light pointing on his hair as well, which never helps anyone

    I think I said enough

As I stated in a previous reply, this is an excellent result

And to @ADil I say.. good luck for more healthy growth + enjoy the haircuts! 😊

  9. Some grafts are planted next to each other, some grafts are planted way too far.  I really don't like those empty gaps :(  When this grows out it might look very very plugged and ''see-through ''

I know its cruel to give you this judgement, but looks similar to what I had done from Istanbul in 2017! I only speak from experience.

Regarding the hairline, I do see the point of this zig zag style. Its like they are trying to hard to make it natural or something? All they had to do was follow the line, it is already drawn in a conservative way, so they just had to focus on giving you soft singular grafts for the first 2 rows.

Anyway, I wish you happy growth,  please give us monthly updates :)

    Week 1 & Week 2 update

    • Oozing from the donor area lasted for about 3 days for me. But the donor had already started to heal up. Followed the saline spray & betadine regimen religiously till the first head wash.
    • Unfortunately, I was coming back to a Covid positive house and ended up contracting it myself. However my symptoms were not very severe and I managed to pull through.
    • Head wash - Soaking my scalp in the shampoo for 15 - 20 mins didn't do the trick as not many scabs came out in the first go. I had to increase the soaking time to about 30 mins and was able to clear majority of the scabs by the 3rd head wash.
    • The Eugenix team was very active with their follow-ups. I couldn't converse with them over the phone call but we were in constant touch over WhatsApp Messaging. I was sending them daily pictures of my scalp just make sure things are on track. Some doubts started creeping in about the density after the first wash but talking to reps at Eugenix and going through other transformations on this forum again, helped me clear my doubts. Just fancy ol' over-thinking.
    • The post-op team again reached out to me on the 14th day mark but asked for pictures this time. They sent it for evaluation with the doctors and turns out everything is right on track.
    • Only concern is that my dandruff has been increased marginally. Washing my head everyday with a mild shampoo isn't cutting it. I have reached out to Eugenix stating this concern and am waiting for a response.
    • Really happy with the way my face is looking. I have worn a cap/hat yet (I have a huge collection thanks to MPB).  Friends and Family are digging the new look. This just means that the shedding phase is going to hit me hard. But I'm ready for it and taking each day as it comes.

Looks fantastic. I can see all the hairs on the front implanted forward and correct.  and also the temple points flat and backwards.

It only shows that even the exclusive package is good quality and people shouldn't worry about which package to choose.

    I wish you happy growth!
