    Nope.

    • You need to fill in the online application form & print it out: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/
    • Get yourself at least 2 50x50mm photos. I got mine from a photo booth in Asda!
    • Fill out a medical visa undertaking form - I think I linked to one elsewhere but the consular services will print one out for you to fill in in any case if you haven't found it
    • Hand-signed letter from Eugenix confirming your surgery
    • Passport
    • Confirmation of your booking with the consular services

It is annoying that e-visas aren't available to Brits. However I don't think 4 weeks is normal. From what I'd read online and what I was told, it's normally no more than 10 working days. Like I say, pretty sure my passport was neglected as it was processed immediately once I was able to actually speak to someone (which was a battle in and of itself!).

thanks for this. i saved it for my trip booking

Enjoyed the video. The immediate post op photos are extremely clean.

You get a good idea how things are turning out pretty quickly at the end of the video. The temple points are nice and flat, and blended perfectly with the side of your hair. It's not even been a month yet.

Now the waiting begins. Who else is excited?

    Thanks Melvin.

For anyone who missed it, I highlighted this hairline on one of the clinic posted results from De Freitas today, as an example as to what myself and @Gasthoerer had previously mentioned on this topic, with regards to some of the cases presented by De Freitas exposing flaws in the patients hairlines, which aren’t natural looking.

For newbies or others who aren’t quite as tuned in, if you zoom into this area, and study male hairlines in nature, you will see that this particular result has a mixture of multi’s and coarser hair too close to the frontal line, which leaves a slightly pluggy appearance - no where near the old school ‘plug’ look of yesteryear , however, certainly requiring a softening.

And just to appease the diplomats, I don’t think either of us were knocking De Freitas as being a poor surgeon, more so , critiquing claims that he was number one in the world for hairlines - in which in my personal opinion, there are other surgeons who achieve more aesthetic hairline results.

On the whole, his yield is seemingly good, and I enjoy watching the transformations his clinic presents.

I’m also a huge fan of the work he did on @BjornBorg and think his results are fantastic.

Perhaps it’s down to individuals hair characteristics, and we all know coarser hair provides a more difficult time for a surgeon when restoring a hairline - however it can be done, and this is where taking time on selective graft extractions proves to be the difference between good, and elite.

I believe Dr Sethi is a big advocate of this, and places heavy emphasis on the need to be selective for the very frontal hairs and temple points.

You are correct, it does look pluggy.
I also disagree with the statement that coarse hair is difficult for soft hairline.

All you have to do is take hairs from nape region or around the ears.  Everybody has softer, less pigmented and smaller diameter hairs on their scalp. It is all up to the Dr's experience and artistry to achieve this.

While the photo above is a wonderful full head of hair to 99% of people, that hairline could of been much better 😀

I am going to Dr Demir TurHair he had the following to say:

you are a high norwood, it’s common to experience retrograde alopecia. your nape does not seem to be affected which is good.

You should be expecting 2/3 sessions all one year apart.

I am confident we can extract 2500 grafts from the scalp to the hairline for the 1st procedure, the aim will be a mature natural hairline.

For the 2nd we will be able to extract between 1800-2300 from the scalp for the donor area and we can get about 3k from the beard under the chin area without compromising the beard.

For the 3rd session(if necessary) I feel the donor on the scalp will be depleted so we will have a go at the beard for another 1-2k , and we will evaluate your chest hair which also seems to be thick and and aim to get as much as possible.

I believe the  end result will be quite enjoyable for you and I am aware you of your expectations which I feel is realistic  for your circumstances.

Hi again, I agree with the beard that beard donor would be placed into the depleted donor area.

    Good luck sir 💪

To tell you the truth i’d rather have a gamble and go FUE route.

I like my head shaved really close to the skin on back and sides, and feel that 2 stripes  on back is out of the question for me.

I totally understand your concern. I had an FUT procedure in 2015 and it took alot of smp and even some grafts to cover it up.

Whatever Dr you choose, make sure that they have excellent donor area management, since you wish to have very short haircuts.. it is important that your donor area remains decent.  As you might know,  both FUE and FUT can leave terrible scarring in the wrong hands.

So, we go to the other option.  In my thinking, a reputable Dr can for sure manage to squeeze out 2,000 grafts from your donor area and maybe if they are skilled enough another 2,000 grafts from your excellent looking beard. If the procedure is done within a day, DO NOT go to this doctor. This is a serious case and it should be done in separate days for extra care and scalp health for the grafts.  With both these combined you may get full coverage from front to back, keeping in mind that you should get your hairline lower not bringing the temples out as this will cause you to require even more grafts that you do not afford to use.  With 4,000 grafts you can have your scalp covered and you may manage to have a buzz cut look as if you were someone who never went bald.  Keep in mind that its not always about having thick density, this is all about a natural illusion

Hope what i said helps you in some way or other 😄 💪

    • Thanks 1
  6. Nothing is impossible, but after looking at your donor area.. it will probably get exhausted and completely destroyed after 1 or 2 hair transplants if you go with FUE route.

In my opinion you have two options.

    • Either gamble with your donor area and pray it gives you enough grafts for 2 sessions + a healthy amount of beard grafts aswell for density illusion.
    • Or else ............ I wonder if you found an amazing Dr who makes impeccable FUT procedures? I can see you with 2 clean strip scars and a full head of hair.
  7. That's incredible for 6 months.  Some people need 2 procedures to get that amount of hair..

I hope you are disciplined with medication, otherwise the native hair you have on the front that is making your transplanted hairs look full will eventually grow thin and disappear..... hence making you back to where you were and needing another procedure once again.

    Happy growth!

Hi @Ryan Daniel- Dr. Bisanga said in a consult a minimum of 6 months no fibers post HT.

I don't think there is evidence it will do harm (could be wrong), but I think it is out of caution that fibers don't promote an optimal environment for growth.

No problem. I don't mind wearing a hat everyday while im outside.  Im a home person anyway, and only go out at evenings 😁
