  1. I don't really need one, its mainly to curb my OCD and get everything as even as I can from the native to the transplanted bits, but more than happy where I am and this one sure is a bit of greed and calming my mental issues and obsessions ha
  2. Thanks mate, when you see it side by side like that its ridiculous really, I can't believe how good it is, I still see the weaker parts but they are not as bad as they was and tbh even as short as the hair dresser just hacked it the other day its pretty good even at the shorter length I didn't want, I am so happy with it
  3. I had not seen @Jamos1982 and @A_4_Archan results before but I think they both look amazing. @mtb and @Capelli21 are stand out cases for me and shows what great hair characteristics and top surgeons can do as they both look like they never had hair loss, and then on the side of miracles if we are sticking with 2023 then @Gatsby and @Bandit90 are up there as they both had massive up hill battles, especially Gatsby, its unreal to think of his starting point
  4. ha not sure about that, but ill take it, its turned out so much better than I could of imagined and I keep getting told off from my friends, GF and family about not needing to go back for more hair ha, thanks mate
  5. Thats looking great, and as said if thats harsh lighting then normal scenarios nothing will be noticeable, looks like a full natural head of hair
  6. thank you so much mate, really appreciate that, to say I am happy is an understatement, its really exceeded my expectations tbh
  7. I had never really heard about it and just used it at my GF, she said its a good way to hide your roots when grey is coming through etc, but I have found that its slowly died my hair more brown again and sits on the scalp a bit and gives an SMP type of effect, I only use it once a week and not much of it, but it really gives a good overall look to my hair I think, but using it more would really dry the hair out hence why once a week
  8. Ah thanks mate, honestly I never thought I could be in this position, I had resided myself to a life of being bald and I was actually ok with it, its only the pure spur of the moment mistake at the first hair mill that put me on the road to getting it done right, and now I am so glad I actually made that first mistake and rushed in as if I had planned it I probably would not of bothered going through with any of it, but to find myself with hair and actually enjoying it is a mad thing, and I am really happy with where I am at, the next pass in early Feb is pure vanity and just to curb my OCD to have it all more balanced, and looking what they have done this time around, I have no doubt ill be more than happy next year
  9. Couple of weeks shy of 11 months and got my hair hacked at the barbers. Asked them please to leave some length on top and now there is literally about an inch of hair apart from the front and he shaved the left hand side when he styled it. I asked him to leave the left to give me options. Guess this is the only style for the next month or so haha under direct light and this length you can see thru bits but nothing terrible and in normal viewing conditions it’s unnoticeable super happy overall
  10. I totally agree with this, I have been to a hair mill thats local to me and also Eugenix, and actually the hair mill was a lot better at presenting the information about the realities of what they can achieve and multiple sessions etc, but then they also had a pretty much in and out way of working which was not great and a hard limit on grafts etc rather than what you actually needed to get good results, where as the results from Eugenix are night and day better, but I was shocked with their planning etc, it was all so fast and slap dash, I got my donor assessed within seconds and the plan was done in seconds and I was kind of made to agree with it, really it was only once in the operating theatre with Dr Soumesh that it all turned around and saved it for me, he listened and assessed my donor as they went on and the plan evolved into something I was very happy with. They really need to get better at this as that side has the potential to get a lot worse with the rapid expansion of the clinic too, hopefully it's something they are addressing? But if I would of seen this forum ahead of time before my first surgery then I would of had a lot more knowledge to arm myself with As regards shaving your head even after HTs, I dont really see the issue, my sides are slightly over harvested yet I still shave them short when getting it cut etc and personally it does not bother me one bit, I suppose its all personal preference. The main thing that really played on my mind was after the first HTs with the hair mill the hairline was far to straight and unnatural and this was the big driving factor of going Eugenix for a more natural result The OPs results are great for the grafts etc, and hopefully a second pass can put him where he is comfortable with it all
  11. Definitely go for the hair and then keep shaving it through the early months up till maybe around month 5 when its coming to the good times
  12. Eugenix and a lot of other clinics heal donor fine and quickly too etc, but they are not that way inclined to go beyond the typical safe zone, thats the main difference tbh, I am not saying he isn't great as he is, but he is just willing to do what looks best overall for both donor and head in general
  13. its not rocket science, the results are great, what he Is doing is no different from anyone else in terms of technique, but what is different is his and a few other docs approach to this SAFE area your only suppose to take from, I went aggressively bald very early like many on the forum and dont see a problem going right up to the borders, but many docs just won't do it, and thats the difference, nothing mind boggling, just he sees and trust the process himself
  14. The hair towards the humps looks quite strong still, I would agree in NW5 going to a 6, definitely not as bald as I was ha
  15. Here you go, yeah its a dry shampoo, I stumbled on it by mistake using my GFs one and noticed it made my hair look amazing as it kind of gripped to the roots and then gave a better illusion over all, I only use it about once a week, few sprays, rub in and off with a towel and thats it, tends to hand in until I wash it out really - https://www.batistehair.com/products/dry-shampoo/color-divine-dark
  16. So 10 months in and really happy. My normal regime now is once a week after a normal wash I use a little bit of dark brown batiste and rub in and off. This really seems to give the roots and scalp an SMP kind of effect and takes the eye right off the see thru aspect i use sea salt spray maybe a couple of times a week just to hold it in a style hair is looking better all the time. The donor on left and right is wrecked but this was the very first clinic and not Eugenix and tbh it does not really bother me that much but shows how unprofessional places can be. The back of the donor feels amazing and the native bits that still haven’t been touched are nice a thick compared to the rest still. i am about 5 months on OM and not noticed any difference? overall apart from needing a hair cut I am happy and looking forward to next year for the last pass 🙌
  17. Thank you, I tried to highlight all the pros and cons as these were evaluation shots for Eugenix, plus with my hair styled better its hard to see through as much, overall I am over the moon with it so far
  18. Its hard to say as ultimately it'll come down to what your happy with, people as bald as I was would more than likely be happy, but when you have as much hair to play with as you I have seen people on the forum get mega dense hairlines done, so just see how you feel mid next year when its growing in. Regardless if its 500-1000 its not a big surgery in the right hands
  19. you have good dense native hair behind it so by the time it grows in it might look great, but even worse case it really would not take many more grafts to pack it out, but try and relax and just see where you are in 6 months+
  20. Do you have any better pics of post op as to blurry to properly see on that shot? but looks like more or less 1000 grafts from that pic
  21. I saw this on IG, it's absolutely awful, did it ever get to a good place? he mentions a longer video, I hope it got sorted, and honestly if this had been done to me I would be shaving my head with a blade for the rest of my days rather than growing it
