  1. If it goes into a third day and you end up with another Dr taking care of you, the main hard work in terms of slits etc has taken place at that point, and its more on the rest of the team to do the work and have the Dr oversee it at that point. I think either option sounds good, but I would think you would more than likely run into 3 days for sure
  2. I think like others have said, you was covering up how diffuse you head was with the long hair from the back, for the amount of grafts you had over such a big area it looks like its all growing well, and yes if you want good density then you will need at least another session To put in context I had a similar sized area filled over four sessions and have now hit around 12k grafts and I am still worried about what the density might be, it'll never be perfect but you can definitely get in a place you want to be And maybe if growing it forward is your ultimate goal and you don't mind having your hair long then maybe starting toward the back and moving forward with density to allow the thicker layers might be better? But from this pic just two months ago to the one from today its obvious how well its growing, and me personally on my 3rd one last year, I think it was month 9+ for me when I thought it was starting to really look good
  3. Thanks man, yeah I hear you and keep telling myself the same, think its just the shock of the shedding phase etc atm, but it'll pass and I know it will start going from strength to strength again all going well
  4. So its been a month already and I am getting that horrid feeling its all not going to turn out well, I am not enjoying my hair atm, it doesn't feel good, loads keep falling out when I rub it, I am getting super nervous about bits that have been missed in different surgeries, and noticed things that didn't quite take last time like the left temple Whilst I know these are all normal fears at this stage, I think they feel worse this time with seeing how good it was getting back end of last year, I wish I could fast forward this next couple of months to get to the good times (fingers crossed there is some, as doesn't feel like it atm haha) I have been keeping hair short atm, its currently about 5-10mm as different lengths all over
  5. I still agree with you and @Gatsby that if he has had multiple surgeries and ended up with nothing on his head then I find it hard to believe this will go any different? but I would love to be wrong! Where as this case you have linked too is amazing but it does not mention failed HTs like the other guy, and then there Is bad donors and then literally zero donor like the impossible case. But only time will tell
  6. I have had Soumesh twice and he is great, so you'll be in good hands!
  7. Dr Vinta was there both times I have been, I just have not really seen any of her cases on here, but I have always heard good things
  8. Finally got my graft breakdown on the most recent surgery and blown away that tbh it was not all singles, I remember my very first surgery the doc saying that I had mainly single, where as both Eugenix surgeries have found mainly doubles upwards Total number of graft-2062 Single-220 Double -940 Triple -623 Quadruple -279 2.47 avg, never thought I would have numbers like that, all helps when your hair is as fine and as straight as mine I guess
  9. I was doing DIY after my very first surgery and being super careful, I was only on day 5 I think and a shed lid fell down and banged my head right in the middle of the transplanted area, luckily nothing bleed or was lost, so goes to show how embedded they are within a few days
  10. I dont think there is absolutely strict advice on travel, I mean people go there and fly back the following day, its more about keeping your head safe, like @Gatsby said make sure you have the cap on your head, the pollution is one thing for sure and could introduce infection maybe, but sun exposure is not good at all, and thats true for a month or so really as the skin on your head will be very sensitive for a while. But that first 7 days is crucial to keep it safe, I think the hairs are not going anywhere after a few days healing, but I tend to think once you have that first week out of the way your good for anything, so traveling within them early days just been careful
  11. I have noticed this with pretty much every surgery they do, its not a very natural look if kept short, luckily its turning out well on month 6 and long hair atm
  12. Always been a massive fan of HLC and considered going myself, this looks mega so far!
  13. I think tbh just do whats right for you. For me and like many others I had to make a choice to early on in life, I didn't realise I was going bald as it happened so quick, I had long hair at 17, cut it shorter at 18 and it looked different and I didn't know why, by 19 I made the tough decision to shave it off, and this was going through college and my first kind of jobs when everyone was rocking mega hair and I was getting talked about behind my back constantly. Once I accepted my own fears and owned the process, it was horrible to begin with, but I never looked back, and in all honesty, if I had not so rashly got a HT done after covid, then I would not of started on this road, and even after the first one I was tempted to laser it off and just stay bald as it really didn't bother me anymore. God I always wanted hair and still do, and feel very fortunate that I have had some great results. But shaving your head is a tough and brave move and some people can not build up the courage to own that, and like @Gatsby said, you both had surgery in a time when the results left your scalp in a not great condition for maybe shaving it down also, I nearly ended up with the same problem after getting kind of aggressively talked into a small FUT procedure when I was 18 and didn't understand anything about it, and this actually contributed to a lot of my native hair falling out and never growing back and leaving an unsightly triangle arrangement of plugs in the middle of my head, so even then when I took the decision at 19 to shave it down I had the horrible looking plugs in the middle of my head that I lived with till when at around 32 I realised I could get them lasered off over 3 sessions, but for the 13 years from 19-32/33 I had also that constantly on my mind and people again speaking behind my back and making jokes. Once that was done and dusted it left me in a better place, and dont get me wrong to be where I am now with what I can only describe as my wildest dream come true to rock some good looking hair again is amazing, the strength it takes and the level of acceptance should not be over looked
  14. No the attempts make sense, but also scary, as for such a difference I hope the attempts all grow back as to get 300 hairs out of near 600 attempts, I don't want to lose 300 hairs from attempts all being well, as then this is how donors get destroyed I guess?
  15. Like the others said I can only thing a blood test would show this up? also surely it depends on if your hair is susceptible to DHT also, not sure how you would find that out?
  16. Day 13 or 14, all scabs off, new hairs are now brittle and snapping and shedding already, but looks healthy and nothing is sore, now the waiting game really starts
  17. Ah man you need to keep that hair cut, it actually looked good when you came back from surgery, even better now tidied up, lets see a side pic
  18. from your day 10 pics you had hair there, so I can only think its some sort of extreme shock loss? as nothing shows over harvesting from what I can see, but never just seen a patch like that either? but I know some people have crazy shock loss compared to others, try not to worry and give it a bit of time
  19. with what hair he had left already he could of side parted his hair to look just as good as this already, there is no pics of graft placement etc, no evidence around how its grown etc, tbh he has very good hair and high sides, he would easily get a great full head of hair in a couple of surgeries over this?! and the comb thru pic is basically going thru the native hair he already had???
  20. Thanks dude, honestly the midscalp and crown feel a hell of a lot more dense even at this super short length
  21. ah definitely, the mind games start already ha, the thing is, it was looks pretty good with what was at the back last time, so its gonna be better for sure, just need to be patient
  22. Day 9, most scabs off, stupidly used a normal shampoo yesterday and burnt my head ha, just was not thinking, time for baby shampoo today. Hair around 1mm and slightly different lengths all over with how its been chopped, but liking the way its looking at such an early stage, still worried my main concern area on the left hump is still very weak, but lets see
