  1. He might need beard grafts for future balding. There's no way 8500 covers a NW7 completely.
  2. @general-etwan as another nw6/7 patient in his early-mid 20s, i wish you all the best and am excited to see what this turns into.
  3. Ah, you are correct there. I don’t really see that as a negative tbh as I don’t think it’s humanely possible to do what he does and not need a lot of rest time. My only gripe is that he’s not a fan of beard hair.
  4. Why do you think he is extremely selective in his hand-picked patients? 1) He's shown several cases of NW7s with poor donors, 2) People that have visited that I've talked to have looked at many of Zarev's private cases, all of which are good. I think Zarev just treats each patient with so much care that 99% of outcomes are great while for a normal "top" clinic, it may be closer to 90%.
  5. Honestly wish I could fast forward 6 months to see Dr. Barghouthi's results lol.
  6. Anyways, this is it lads. We'll finally know whether it works or not. No matter the end result, I'd like to commend Dr. Barghouthi for at least trying this out, spending hundreds of hours researching, learning how to use the trichoscope, and performing this procedure. One day, one way or the other, be it verteporfin or something else, only through courageous experiments like this will we find the cure.
  7. Thanks for the update! Am curious about whether you injected the donor with verteporfin as well, as that is what the theory has at least shown should work.
  8. Dr. Barghouthi literally did a biopsy that showed double the hair in the treatment than control region. Why do people keep forgetting this lol? Yes, I can ask him if I’d like, but if he wants things to be kept private, I will keep it private. The community has brought this on themselves by constantly complaining and now he probably isn’t comfortable posting because of this. I wish people did more useful things such as volunteer as a patient, help fundraise, etc, but as you said, if people do nothing, they are not entitled to any information.
  9. Do you mean that Dr. Zarev is soon training other doctors to shorten the waitlist? 😀
  10. Sorry, I hope you realize the rest of us aren't like this and are grateful for you willing to experiment on yourself and sharing your updates so frequently.
  11. Thanks for the update! Curious if you thought about pittella ever – I’m debating between Eugenix and pittella.
  12. I'm not sure why people are obsessing over Dr. Barghouthi so much. He was kind enough to let us know that he has dates planned and will do it eventually. Most doctors such as Dr. Mohebi haven't even given a single update. If people want it more rushed, then they should contact other doctors, but people are lazy and just enjoy complaining. There's more than enough data at this point, be it from Dr. Barghouthi's experiment, Dr. Bloxham's experiment, or the numerous experiments done by people such as Killian, KK, Sc0t, SweetLiquor, etc., to either do it yourself or convince other doctors to. If Arcturus ends up joining and complaining about the 15k he donated, then I understand. But nobody else has contributed anything, so nobody should have any expectations.
  13. Dr. Pittella has at least shared that he doesn't want to continue, so I'd appreciate if Dr. Mohebi at least gave information about whether he has lost interest or if there's some way we can help him proceed. If you can find a lesser known surgeon, feel free to go ahead, but I doubt it would be easy to find one.
  14. It’s pretty consistent with Dr Barghouthi vs dr Bloxham’s experiments. Seems FUE is the way to go so far.
  15. Ultimately, this is Arcturus's money, so only he should be the one who decides where the money goes. Second, there's no point having this discussion, unless someone can even convince a surgeon to try out verteporfin. Even if they were given the money, I doubt anyone here could find a surgeon willing to try verteporfin.
  16. first find a surgeon who is even willing to try lol -- at least Dr B did a trial. Even if he doesn't do another trial, ill just count the money he got this time as costs for the first trial he did. Without his initial trial, we wouldn't even have any hope.
  17. Can you explain how he has even more grafts left behind for another surgery?
  18. Dr. Pittella is insane -- how does he do this lol? Best NW7 surgeon ever!
  19. Also wanted to add that beard hair is almost twice as thick as scalp hair, so although there’s less hairs per graft, the coverage value is made up by the thickness.
