  1. I have many pictures where you can see my donor where I have basically 0,but I haven't tried buzz cut on recipient so I can say how it looks, obviously there are no scars at recipient or donor, just thinned out donor. No damage to be seen.
  2. Any before pictures? Density seems like it could be better in the front, were you totally bald in the front area thar have been transplanted?
  3. Conversation doesn't need to go anywhere, I was just curious as I hear this statement used by people here and there without actual facts and statistic to back it up and I thought you might have this info as you wrote it's a fact...😅. Even here at the forum it's possible to do a somewhat research and see of the people that have performed surgery (making it easier we include all clinics, even the ones where a 20 year old "technician" doing everything) how many had 0 to 10% yield, 10-20% and so on, no questions about Doctors or clinic, just yield.. Maybe Melvin can do a poll 🤔. For me data and statistics comes before logic, otherwise I wouldn't have taken over 10 years to research and learn and how to minimise risks.
  4. This is a interesting statement, also one that a read here and there, it's a fact you say but what fact and statistics are you referring to? I like empirical data (work damaged) can you show me data that shows 100 patients going to a reputable well known serious doctor who knows what they are doing, out of those 100 patients how many did no grafts take at all? Because saying its a risk, sure everything in life is a risk but if the risk is 1 patient out 10 000, 1 out of 100k....then this is minuscule and not a big risk. But if as you say its a FACT then there need to be 1 out 10, or 1 out 100....then sure, bit risk
  5. Or type 3 like I did, over 7000 grafts first session and cover whole scalp equally (did another over 3500 grafts 10 months later)
  6. Hairline obviously would have the higher cm/grafts, not the front front as those are single grafts but not more than 40 grafts/cm 2, this picture after the first procedure, around 10 days post op after scabs fell off shows a better view of the spread.
  7. I was probably lucky and managed to email Dr Zarev at a perfect time, I just filled in the inquiry form at his website and got a reply pretty fast. If you have tried WhatsApp (didn't know it was available) and email and still not getting any reply unfortunately not much to do, maybe try calling his office, might get lucky. For your second question, I can't say for sure how exactly it was divided, Dr Zarev had made an exact and thorough plan before surgery and placement varied from approximately 25 grafts/cm2 to 35 grafts/cm. And he did 7070 grafts the first time, not 6k (while extracting he could see that he could get more and he saw good reaction from my skin/scalp).
  8. But I got to say, it got a lot of things right also, (not hair related) , like that I should prefer dark chocolate vs milk chocolate, love dark, not much milk chocolate. And there is a a bunch of other stuff that it gets right, well it was interesting anyway.
  9. I know he works with beard, and of course temporal peaks, we discussed mine, I was fine with how I have it but he showed me several cases.
  10. Have any of you guys done a DNA test? I did one from 23&me with a health report, got some interesting info about my hair also.
  11. Thanks, Dr Zarev sent all the pictures before first procedure but I deleted them after a while as there were so many and I changed phones in between, I will try and see if I have any on my cloud storages.
  12. I'm not a selfie or take pictures for social media type of guy, these pictures that I take once a month is a record for me in amount of pictures taken of me so I really don't have many pictures. Found one from when I was in Greece this summer outside and one from maybe 2 months ago from office that have harsh lighting.
  13. Alright guys, this will the last picture update (for now), I have reached 1 year after second procedure, first one I did in January 2021, 7070 grafts and then another 3613 in October 2021,total grafts of 10 683. Norwood 6 to norwood bye 👋🏻 😅, Dr Zarev is simply amazing and I am so glad I found him. (Where I started and where I finished)
  14. OK, then he has changed price and bookings filled up, good that you could get through and get information atleast.
  15. Business (surgery) wise he's booked up to 2024 and I think we are talking mid 2024 and consultation time mid 2023. Right now unfortunately the normal channels of contacts is the only way, website or calling office directly, all info on website. I was hoping he would have hired an English speaking patient coordinator to go through his backlog by now but that's delayed.
  16. Instagram is https://instagram.com/drzarev?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Dr Zarev charges 4euro per graft as is also stated on his website.
  17. It's not ideal for sure and he knows it, but most of his clients are from Bulgaria even though there is a lot of interest from sprund the world , if he's booked up for 2 years with clients mostly from Bulgaria and his working non stop himself and does not have any really good English speaking employees as focus has been Bulgaria then this is the situation unfortunately that many are in like you. But his intention is to change this but it's taking some time unfortunately.
  18. I'll have to look, he shared most info when I did my first procedure, might have an email or conversation on WhatsApp, otherwise I can ask when I talk or see him( might go in October for a final result check and another donor check) next time
  19. Unfortunately on this forum no, can't tell you exact reason, and it's not something Dr Zarev seeks or asks his patients, but from our talks it seems most his clients are non English speaking (90% Bulgarians) , a little more high end/upper class people and they can't be bothered with writing in forums specially when they all get same type of results as I do.
  20. Thanks, but I never started to share my result as an advertisement for Dr Zarev, just to show my journey and hopefully help others that are on the higher Norwoods to see what is possible with the right surgeon and realistic expectations, I never imagined this was possible before I started this journey even though I saw the many result done by Dr Zarev. I looked for maybe 10 years for a surgeon that would do most of the work (never expected Dr Zarev to everything 😅) and could show good results on high norwoods without destroying donor.
