Hey, No I am not prone to panic attacks in general, would say I have never had one. I was also in a good place I think when I went on Fin, and was at work, in a booth and randomly I felt weak and had to go home I was that bad. I had no idea about Fin so I know it was fin.I also know others have had the same issues with anxiety and Fin. So definitely a side. Maybe just a rare one. I agree with your point, I just don't know if me being 29 would mean I am okay, or will get much worse. I would say I am a Norwood V as of now. Which actually depresses me. I didn't think I was this bad. I don't want to be on Fin or Min. Yes -your friend makes a valid point, but surely we can stablise the hair? Surely you dont need to be on Fin. Bicer says she does not recommend Fin, she doesn't recommend Fin or Min. Asked about PRP and so forth. She also said to me that she wants me to go to a Dermatologist, is this normal? Do people go to a dermatologist before a hair transplant and get a report, if so what are some good qustions or things to ask for? As of now, I get a really good feeling about Dr. Bicer.

Can You Get an FUE Without Propecia?
Hairtroubles replied to Melvin- Admin's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
And what if you start losing your hair around 27 (am not 29) and it is now affecting me, not on fin. -
I know man, but the thing is I tried fin before for a week, didn't know ANYTHING ABOUT the sides, and felt super anxious and had a panic attack at work and had to head up. No joke, it was BAD. I hadn't even researched the pill at all, but I know it fucked me up. I know this for a fact, I remember the day clearly. I researched it when I came home and was terrified by what I read. Is it even worth me getting a hair transplant?

Hey, I am looking to book my hair transplant, I have found a very reputable clinic. Top three to five that is always mentioned in this clinic. I am just a bit nervous you know. The doctor says that most of their patients do not use Finasteride, however, they may come back for a second hair transplant. The plan is to do my frontal and 500 grafts in the scalp area to thicken it up. I am just super curious, is this okay to do. Is a hair transplant without fin a waste of money? I really hope it isn't? This is a huge deal for me, and I want to make sure this is the right thing and choice.

I know this is a weird post, but im losing my hair, not on any medications, don't want to be as I plan to get a hair transplant. Anyways, my hair feels sensitive, maybe its because I am thinking about it non stop. I am putting on dermovate, the label says once a week to apply by my doc (who didn't even see my hair and spoke on phone), and i see online it says to apply daily. So I have been doing it every other day. Still feels itchy. When I saw a trichologist two months ago, it felt the same way, she didn't say anything about the hair, just that its a bit red from ithcy and dry. I emailed her the other day and asked about my hair and questions about it, and she said "I have reviewed the images taken at the appointment and the scalp was slightly sebaceous, (oily) this can cause itching, flaking and soreness, it may be a mild seborrhoeic dermatitis, which I can't diagnose without seeing the scalp, but is not unusual in male pattern hair loss." Any thoughts, I am two weeks into dermovate, dont want to overuse it because it can thin the skin apparently. This all normal and in my head? I do not have pics, tried taking and hard to see under hair.

"Anyway, I have my own personal stance on finasteride, and try to keep it as diplomatic as possible on here, because I know its a pretty emotional debate for both parties, regardless of what side of the fence you are on . . . my advice to anyone and everyone, will always be - consult with a doctor who works in the relevant field of medicine, such as a urologist, or endocrinologist. Then make up your mind" Whats your thoughts? I too am just too nervous to try Fin, ive read and seen too much, no joke. Its corrupted me. I wish I never read half the stuff, but what I will say, is that I went to the belgravia center in the UK, took finasteride. Had NO IDEA about the side effects, genuinely. 3 weeks in, I was at work, I couldn't explain it, felt anxiety, a rush of light headedness, I cant even explain it, I had to go home and was off work for 2 days, it 100% was the fin.

May I ask, what does survival rate mean when it comes to hair and why is it poor with HLC?
