Hi Kristian … I personally went to Dr Cinik and had a great result but you will not get anybody recommending him on here ( or cosmedica ) as they are both hairmills. There are a few clinics in Istanbul that are recommended here so do your research. And good luck 🤞🏽
Just bumping this thread if anyone can shed some light if sebum is connected to any hair loss medications.
I visited my GP today regarding a few pimples around my brow area and she said it was an issue with sebum. A natural oil our body produces. She told me to cleanse every day and wear sunscreen.
After a little research I have read that sebum could be connected to testosterone, hormone levels or dht.
I take 0.5mg of finasteride 4 times a week and use Nizoral shampoo every 4 days, could any of this be removing the sebum from my scalp but giving me issues on my face?
I exercise regularly and have a reasonable balanced diet.
thanks in advance
I’d never even heard of finasteride until I looked in to getting a ht. Doubt many have …. I know my friends hadn’t until I told them there was a drug that helps hair loss.
I got a good result off Cinik but it’s a gamble, I didn’t know much about the ht industry before I went, hairmill overharvesting etc but hit lucky… it’s whether your prepared to gamble, most on here would tell you. No
Agree you could have held on for a few more years, especially looking at the 2nd pic. But it is up to you how you feel …..
good luck from a fellow UK’r
Let’s be honest there’s a lot of things that can kill you, if you live your life worrying about them it’s not worth living…
even drinking too much water can kill you, just live your life hopefully with hair 🤞🏽
It’s over 2 years now since my ht.
Just thought I’d share these few pictures as I’m sure it has improved even after the 12 months.
New style also with a skin fade
I disagree …. If a heating engineer drops a clanger the consequences are much worse… dangerous appliance equals carbon monoxide which results in death !
Exactly this …. I’m a heating engineer and when I’m fitting a boiler or fixing a flue, me and my colleague might carry on, tell jokes or talk sh*t
But at the end of the day we do a professional job and would never leave the boiler unsafe.
