I saw in one of his initial videos where He insisted on a straight line hairline even though the Vinci clinic guys said otherwise..
He got exactly what he wanted..
Looks very unnatural but as long as he is happy..Not an ideal role model for guys considering hair transplant..

Looks good @ADil. The photos at day 10 were very promising.
It's a waiting game now. The fact that you had the HT done at a good clinic should keep you assured of the results (as opposed to waiting anxiously for the 6th / 8th / 10th month mark to see if your HT would yield good results).
Hey thanks @forest for the positivity..🙂

Hi
Got the transplant done on 24 march just before things went crazy in India.
I had to postpone it earlier by one month..
Its really annoying to postpone it.. but be super sure if you want to do it.
Yes Eugenix is extremely careful about Covid and follow all the protocols.
They changed their gloves every time they stepped out and were masked through out the process.
Its relatively safe as far as surgery goes.
But if fear of Covid leads to anxiety issues..better postpone it..

why is the transplanted hair growing in different directions?
Probably because I was wearing a cap before I took the pictures..

1 month Update 29days
- Shedding has fully begun. I see lots of hair in the shower and a few during the day.
- Temple area has been sparse and have very few hairs. Hopefully the tiny original hair grows to cover it along with the newly transplanted ones.
- There is still numbness in the front hair area which occasionally itches.
- Donor area has healed pretty well and hair till now has covered 85% of the scars.
- Not liking how I look at all. Looking really old and worse. The next few months will be tough.
- Hair fact multivitamins and Finpecia 1mg daily routine.
- Mildly daily shampoo and Ketostar weekly.

That looks like a normal shedding of a hair ! Don’t panic 😊
Showed to the doc..
She said looks like scab broke off the hair..
She also said its unlikely i lost the graft..
A bit concerned.. hopefully no more such incidents..

Hi
Pre surgery:-
Finally after a month delay (acidity problems ..stress lead to acidity let to stress.. vicious cycle) I got my hair transplant done at Eugenix lead by Dr Priyadarshini and the amazing Mumbai team on 24 March 2021
The hairline was designed conservatively with both Doc and i agreeing to make it V shaped.
My temples even though had receeded still had some hair so they were also filled.
Surgery experience :-
Final grafts :-2612
Surgery started at 1030 am and went on to 10 pm..
Dr Priyadarshini did all the initial slits for the implantation as is the practice at Eugenix and was present during all crucial extraction/implantation.
As I had a lot of superficial nerves , the bleeding was a bit much which slowed the process quite a lot. But Dr Priyadarshini and the team were very through , precise and worked very hard.
I have to mention the awesome supporting actors Ranjan, Ashish , Aadarsh , Rakshya and Dipun and also to Vrushali and Aparna. I can never thank them enough.
They kept the pain at minimum and always asked if I was comfortable or in pain. The back massages between breaks were highly appreciated..
They worked tirelessly and were very amiable and polite. I was lucky to get such a great Doctor and superb team of technicians. Also Imran who was there from the beginning to clear whatever doubts i had at every step.
Dr Priyadarshini is really polite to talk to and her experience and expertise really showed. She is a wonderful human being and an amazing doctor. I felt like I was around family.
Choosing her was the best decision i ever made..
Post surgery:-
I was given a kit with saline spray and a chart for precautions/medications
Dr. is just a whatsapp away for any queries
This forum and my research has equipped me with the knowledge of what to expect on the first 7 days and beyond..
Day 0-7
Sleeping on the back was a major issue. Didnt sleep for more than 2 hours at a time in all 7 days
Pro tip :- Tied my wrists to my ankles so that i don't scratch my grafts in sleep ( read somewhere on this forum )
Slight itching sensations but was advised more frequent saline sprays and one SOS medicine.
Tomorrow 31 March 2021 is my first head wash. Will post some pics .
Now that the hard part is over .. focusing on recovery and results in the coming days and months. Ugly duckling phase and slow results..here i come
Attaching pictures and will update the journey as time progresses..
Need your valuable feedback and best wishes for my journey..
Day 10 update
All crusts and scabs finally came off..Took 4 washes in 4 days. Went to Eugenix clinic for three washes. They were very gentle and through.A bit of redness is there on the transplanted area but it should go eventually. The Donor area is healing pretty well too.All the transplanted hairs ( eventually will fall off in the shedding phase ) have sprouted.Hair at Temple points do concern me as they are very very light. I am told i had a lot of baby hairs at temple points originally. Hopefully they should fill up in the coming months.(wow its gonna take months.. )I am starting Hair Fact multi vitamins recommended by doc from tomorrow ie. 5 April.I am on Finastiride since the beginning and maybe will start minoxidil from next month.Right now I am in my "yay ..i have a hairline phase.
