  1. Do you know how big was your recipient area exactly? Looks clean, happy growing.
  2. Haha, I think he looks terrible here. It's always bad when sides and back are longer than top.
  3. Thanks Melvin, i have seen Dr Shapiro work, but he seems really conservative, nothing wrong, it's just hard to compare his work to what I want I guess.
  4. I will post pics this year, right now my hair are 4.5 cm long and it's hard for me to show it in correct way. I will have to wait till they are longer or just maybe buzz it, but I did 2 months ago and still regret it.
  5. I think I might be the only one in the world, but I don't like his hairlines at all.
  6. I have not look at Dr Cooley before, will check him out. I didn't consult any doc yet as I will not get HT in near future and don't want to bother them right now.
  7. Yeah, not gonna get a HT for at least 2 years. My hair loss has stopped 2 years ago and if in the future it won't progress I will just do it, no point in waiting till some made up number IMO
  8. Thanks for reply. I pointed out that I have brown and straight hair because from what I understand it's pretty much impossible to have good illusion on your first transplant. My list is mostly made this way because of financial reasons, so as much as I would like to get my HT with Konior his current prices seem too high for me. I agree that Dr Hasson is a world class doctor, but recently his results are made with very high graft numbers. Dr Diep seems like a guy for me, but his FUT and FUE scars look scary but the results on the other hand are great, propably the best in the world.
  9. Hey everyone, I'm doing my research and looking for a doctor that has experience with dense packing on brown hair. I will be 21 this year and I am not planing to have HT for at least another 2 years. My hair loss started at around 18, I lost my hairline very fast, and I didn't notice it till later because I usually have long hair with fringe. Currently I am Norwood 1.5 on my left temple and Norwood 2.5 on my right temple. It's very uneven and I will want to correct that in the future. I realise I most likely won't get good results on first transplant cause my density everywhere else is really high. Doctors I was thinking about are: 1. Dr Diep 2. Dr Bloxham 3. Dr Laorwong 4. Dr Konior 5. Dr Hasson I am from eastern europe. I know that I have Dr Feriduni and Bisanga in Europe, but they mostly do FUE right now, and I feel like I would like to go to clinic that does mostly FUT. I started Finasteride 1.25 mg on January 8th, nizoral like 6 months ago and just ordered Oral Minoxidil. I would like to hear your opinion, thanks.
  10. 22 is not too young, but I think you should start conservative on the hairline, not use more than 2500 grafts and choose FUT for your first surgery.
  11. Agree with you fully, but I don't think they could give you or me that Doppio hairline.
  12. Thanks, transplant is still far away for me as I am just 20 right now. Will prolly wait till 23 24 and get some smaller FUT.
  13. Oh I agree don't get me wrong here, but this thread is in Q&A section where we try to help each other and arguments like "haha it didnt work 30 years ago it won't work now" don't bring anything to discussion when Tsuji just released scientifically positivie study. This is complitely new ground of hair restoration science, and none of us has any way to discredit Riken and their research.
  14. If you're a human being finasteride will work for you 100% of the time. Please show me a single example of a person that uses finasteride/dutasteride that PSA level didn't lower. We can regrow most hair right now with simple usage of meds. You don't know what you are talking about. Current medicine can cure baldness right now, just not exactly with good sexual side effect profile.
  15. Amazing change. It's actually first time I see doctor Couto.
  16. It's not the truth. There will never be "cure" to all baldness. Even with gene editing people with alopecia will still be bald. Even with hair cloning people will still continue to bald. In the last 10 years we started using a lot of new treatments. Topical finasteride/dutasteride, oral minoxidil stopped being taboo, doctors are more willing to prescribe low dose AA, hair systems are practically undetectable, FUE is now equal to FUT, new topicals like RU and CB beacame popular, people are now using many diffrent growth promoters other than minoxidil. You don't know what you are talking about, so please stop spreading that boomer logic.
  17. Exactly. They released study, and now it can get peer reviewed. If its positive they will easily get financial help.
  18. If he has cancer, he can use drugs like bicalutamide which are very effective in fightning hair loss.
  19. You had your surgery with dr. Diep right? Do you know if his clinic offers that?
  20. 1. It's always good to take Fin if you have Androgenic Alopecia. 2. Most people have no sides, but if they do, they would happen when there is enough drug in the system to cause sides. This highly differs for everybody. 3. Your doctor can't predict shit. It's all about your body sensitivity to androgens and estrogens. There are trans people that have no sexual sides beacuse their sensitivity is so low that it doesn't cause any problems.
  21. Hey, do you know if patients can go to clinic for scrabs removal? I would be scared to do that myself and it seems like it's important post op thing. Thanks.
  22. Minoxidil can couse scalp inflammation which is bad for your hair. If you want regrowth, oral minoxidil is pretty safe when micro dosing, 2.5mg or 5mg. As far as AA go you could try topical finasteride, or dutasteride. There is also flutamide which some people had great success with.
  23. I mean the fact that you compared huge and succesful research company to some random startups. There is huge diffrence between those companies, and your opinion is full of asumptions. Let's just wait till tommorow, and maybe we will be pleasantly suprised.
