  1. Nice results @wilkinte. Even though your density could obviously be improved, I think it looks natural on you and that's what is most important IMO. If I were you and were thinking of a second HT I would go for a lower hairline, I think it would frame your face better.
  2. This is not something normal to happen, right? I hope you recover 100%!
  3. Thank you for the answer guys. I should have posted my comments as questions instead of claims really as I don't want to sound pretentious as of course I'm no expert in the topic, just a curious guy doing some internet research that has seen A LOT of cases lately, lol.
  4. Should Surgeons or Technicians Place Grafts? Well I guess if we as doctors we will get two types of answers: 1- doctors who use techs will say there isn't a problem using them for the x reasons 2- doctors who don't use them will say they prefer to not use them for the y reasons We as potential patients should carefully listen to both kinds of answers and make up our own minds. By the way, Melvin you hair is looking perfect man, in those normal day today exposures I would have never guessed you had a HT.
  5. @jimcraig152 do you know what are those brownish spots in your donor area? do you think they were caused by the surgery?
  6. Hey man, why is that? Could you elaborate?
  7. Bravo man, bravo! Your results are truly fantastic. And your donor area looks fresh even after 8k+ grafts! Goes to show FUE can be good for large amounts of harvesting too. It's just a matter of the doctor having the right skills. I wish all HT doctors would evolve and stop leaving grotesque strip scars in the back of patient heads!
  8. Same person true but that seems to be a different line in the second picture. Compare the distance from the ears - I doubt it's just a matter of different angles.
  9. That looks reasonable. Now compare it with that de Freitas Patient: Is it reasonable to extract so high in the back of the head? Nobody knows for sure how much his hair loss pattern will progress, but you can see implanted hairs right above the head, suggesting he is already losing hair in a spot relatively close to the area the doctor started extracting the hairs. Maybe he will never lose that far, but it does look risky.
  10. That's the point. Some people say Zarev only does his giga sessions because he extracts beyond the patient safe zone. But the patient already lost all his "unsafe" hair, so how could it be? lol
  11. Interesting, are you going to have a procedure with him? If the hair loss pattern is aggressive enough I don't believe DHT blockers make any difference.
  12. Yes, because I posted some amazing results from Dr. Freitas I can only point out good things about him now? For me it doesn't make sense to use such aggressive extraction zone just for 3K grafts. But I'm not a doctor and I started this thread to read the opinion of other people, including yours.
  13. I don't know, maybe with so much surgeries per day and technicians involved it is harder to do proper quality control? How to you explain going so out of the safe zone for just 3k grafts?
  14. Remember, De Freitas does up to 4 surgeries per day and the people doing the extractions are the technicians, not him, so that may explain?
  15. I disagree. Dr. Zarev doesn't go as high in the crown as those De Freitas pictures show. Compare both back of the heads - not even close. Zarev: Freitas:
  16. Couldn't find many in the spanish forum either. This is what I've found: 2k graft reparation of a previous transplant done in Turkey by the patient. https://foro.recuperarelpelo.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=84771 Look how clean the procedure it looks right after it's done. Very similar do Konior's. Another ones from Couto's patients https://foro.recuperarelpelo.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=82358&start=420 https://foro.recuperarelpelo.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=84205 https://foro.recuperarelpelo.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=60731&start=225 https://foro.recuperarelpelo.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=79795
  17. Can you see any FUE scars here? (picture from @portugal25) I guess it depends on the doctor but a good one should make FUE scarless no? On the other hand, FUT will always leave a scar no matter how good the doctor is.
  18. We have seen in the forums a few cases where the patient ends up getting very poor growth yield and later they found out via biopsy that they had some sort of auto immune/inflammatory disease in their scalp that made them lose a good chuck of the transplanted hairs. Could you ask him how often he sees that happening and why it's not industry protocol for the patient to do an extensive examination of his/her scalp skin before doing a hair transplant? Thanks!
  19. Another one from freitas. The transformations that amazes me the most are the ones that happens over previously slick bald areas. FREITAS NW5A 3019(2016) +2435(2017) +900 +200BHT(2019)6554GRAFT https://foro.recuperarelpelo.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=65210
  20. There are tons of De Freitas results posted by his patients in the spanish forum recuperaelpelo.com - tons of them. And the best results posted are TRULY amazing. Check this one out: NW 4 (A): DR. FREITAS - 3223 GRAFTS (OCT / 17) + 2070 GRAFTS (ABR / 19) = 5293 GRAFTS https://foro.recuperarelpelo.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=70521 Not too long ago HT were synonymous of pluggy doll hair. Now dudes are show boating freaking johnny bravo hairstyles with a confidence lol, way to go
