I did a surgery with Dr.Turan 20. November 2023. He will try to help me with the problems I had with Mwmba in terms of density problems in the hairline. When it comes to the cobblestoning I got from Dr.mwamba. Dr Turan said basically after examining my scalp that due to a lot of the transplanted hair did not survive it resulted to scarring/cobblestoning. If this is true why is the clinic recommended here @Melvin- Admin? I mean like I thought we were avoiding the hair mills and the work of the technicians? How would Yaman manage 6-8 different surgeries daily if this is true? (Edit: read the recent comment regarding 3 surgeries a day. I think is still a lot tho since you want the full focus of the surgery at that important day)

I will listen to the advice of @Gatsby and stick to the medication at least 1 year before doing any surgery. Finasteride and minoxidil ( oral or topical - but I prefer oral) are the main one. Pekiner from your list doesn’t work with Afro hair and he doesn’t have the device for it. I wouldn’t risk it with your hair texture. I have seen good work from Turan when it comes to Afro hair on the Reddit from real patients and talked with them. I also went to him recently (20.November) with my afro texture. Dr.Keser is a really good doctor but he doesn’t do Afro hair too. But my hair texture is different from yours so idk what he says on that Dr.Yaman is a bad doctor so stay away from him. Dr Bisanga and Feriduni are excellent doctors and I am sure they will manage your hair texture pretty well

Honestly the it doesn’t look anything wrong with your pictures and looks perfectly normal. but I never understand why people write: “cannot reveal the name of the doctor or the clinic”. you do not owe the clinic or the doctor anything. he has no ownership over you. this is a form of syndrome that I have not understood. the clinic should be happy that you share your results here and can expose and give them potential new customers.

The donor will most probably stay the same . It was weak before and it is really weak now. Your crown is dipping to your donor area and basically you don’t have almost any hair left behind either. Have you thinked about shaving of and do Smp?

Have you consulted other doctors regarding your second surgery? this is a another bad result from Yaman and from the photos I guess meaby 30% growth of the 4000 grafts he implanted and wasted

What did the doctor say about your result so faar? I always said he is the worst doctor that is recommended in this forum and a hair mill. I have seen plenty of bad works of him in Reddit and Facebook so I am not surprised of this result. have you consulted other doctors so faar?

That is really nicee to hear. Take your time when it comes to the finances part. Don’t rush and do a hair transplant just to be finish with it. If it even takes two years to save up your money wait for it. In mean while take the finasteride and wait at least 1 year to see the effect of the minoxidil. Dr Yaman is a hit and miss and you can’t afford it. Is worse to live a life in regret than using more money on a thing that is soo important ☺️

I would have looked away from dr yaman since he is a hair mill and not so good too. Go to a clinic that is known to produce good results with the use of beard. It also looks like you have DUPA. Have you checked that out? your donor is very limited and with your Norwood scale you have to use heavily beard grafts. Have you checked out Pittella or Eugenix also is better for you to save money and go to a good clinic. use your time with the oral minoxidil. It takes up to 1 year before seeing the result

Go and visit Eugenix since you live in India. Easier and they can quide you and check your scalp since this doesn’t look good

And also he produce those results while he and his techs are using a «microscope». That is weird. the arguments against Keser not using a microscope are only valid if the results from his patients show pluggy and double grafts in the hairline as Freitas. The results I have seen here and in another spanish group have been fantastic.

I understand what you mean but is not ethical to quote another 6000 grafts to a 23 years old guy who already have had 4000 grafts which appeared to be unsuccessful. this is why I like elite doctors. They will try to preserve the donor area investigate the reason why it failed and come up with a plan for the next steps
