  1. Thanks JohnAC71, I really appreciate your kind words. I will updated more pics from today, exactly 4months post op as I understand different lights play a crucial role at this stage. I undoubtedly find myself a bit hairier than the pre op, but of course I feel I still have a long way ahead to match my expectations. I felt so cheerful when Dr Koray drawn my hairline; I liked it at first go! It’s very similar to my original hairline. we first decided( during the online consultation) to split 3200 graft for the new hairline and mid scalp and 1800grafts for the vertex. The doctor changed strategy when I met him in person and I believe they implanted about 4K grafts for the mid/front and the rest on one side of the vertex. Not sure if the clinic can give a more specific grafts distribution data. However thanks again for your support and please feel free to pop in to my report to follow my hair progression ✌️
  2. Thank you Suzana, I strongly feel the support from the clinic! I’m excited and certainly looking forward to hairy time.Hopefully the next couple of months will bring significant changes 🤞 We’ll keep in touch
  3. Hi guys, On the 10/11 of August this year I had my surgery at ASMED. I’m 34 yo male, a smoker and certainly not the most athletic man. I have been suffering of a gradual hair loss since my 20s that affected particularly my front-mid scalp with receding temples and a disappeared hairline over the years. I’ve been on finasteride for about 5 years, I then stopped due to the sides (back to 2017) and started over again from few days after my surgery. I met dr Hasson in 2015 who was the one who convinced me to have an HT; he was absolutely confident to improve my immagine that I was about to book me with him the same year. I had then reconsidered this idea as I didn’t feel like going for a FUT, so I changed plan and booked with ASMED last year. I’m aware the clinic has been recently criticised on this forum for some results below patient’s expectations but ASMED has been one of the first clinic to get truly amazing results with the FUE technique, one of the few who does mega sessions still leaving immaculate donors. Every surgeon have had some bad outcome unfortunately and it’s never easy to make decisions when it comes to “You”. However I personally consider dr Koray one of the best Fue surgeon that has changed many people’s lives and I am expecting work Ethic and support if things won’t evolve as we expect. About the clinic All was marvellously organised from the pickup at the airport to the clinic service. Staff is very polite and friendly and the building looks luxurious. The whole experience was superb as they really make sure you’re all good during your stay.I know it’s not certainly the reason why I decided to go to ASMED but it is definitely a big plus. Thank you very much to the team all! My coordinator I will take this occasion to thank once again my coordinator Alessio, who normally looks after Italian patients( but not only). The good impression I had from the clinic started with his reliability and patience in answering all my queries. Very professional, he helped my through my HT from the begin til the end, explaining clearly the various phases of the surgery. We’re still in touch for every doubt that I have, so great customer service and assistance. I also want to thank Suzana for getting in touch to see how things are progressing. Pre surgery Meeting with dr Koray; he was very nice and seemed to be very professional. He looked at my scalp to better understand the Ht’s strategy and hair’s quality. We had a little chat also to understand my expectations. I then shaved my head and met him again along with the team. He designed my new hairline and discussed with the tech team the 2 days surgery ahead. The meeting with the doctor was relatively short. I assume that he sees so many patients every day with similar hair loss patterns that common strategy are used during the surgeries. Op We started around 8.30am with the extraction phase. I had a team of 4 female assistant plus two anaesthetists checking that everything was alright and painless. Two of the assistant started to extract manually the grafts with one other that was counting and separating them. Break at 12.30pm for about half an hour. Back with dr Koray doing incisions and the team again to implant them. All done by 4pm, same routine on the second day. Personal thought I am now 4 months post op and I can see some growth on the front head. I was hoping to be a little more “hairy” by now, especially in one side that looks weaker. Density is still lacking and I feel far away from where I wanted to be. However I know it’s still too early to come to any conclusions. I keep being positive as I see slow improvement on a weekly basis. I do apologies for pictures quality as I can only use my phone, so they aren’t so great! I will try to take pictures on different lighting so you can have a closer view about my regrowth. I’m on 1/4 proscar daily since August - 10 mg biotin from September- Nizoral shampoo twice a week from December. here below pictures pre/post surgery-1 month-2 months-3 months. The last three pictures are from couple of days ago.Looking forward to get your honest opinion.I will update more pics this weekend as I’ll be exactly
  4. I’m so glad for you, you deserve such a life changing result! you’re only half way through your final result so things could potentially get even better. I’m happy to feel your happiness in recovering confidence with your immagine improved as you were hoping for. I will also create my report as I’m going to be at month 4 shortly.Hoping to get the same boost as you did in the next couple of months. Good vibes
  5. Great result! very happy for you ✌️
  6. Hi Quandoria, how’s going? it looks pretty normal at this stage, how are things progressing nearly 4 month post-op? I’m 3 months post surgery and had a very little progress, hoping for the boost in these coming 3 months. Let’s keep waiting ✌️
  7. MichaelID it looks good! one side is weaker than the other at the moment but this is a very common “issue” everyone face during this phase (even myself, it’ll be 3months soon). The next 2 months should make a more visible impact to your hairs’ density. Good progress but it’s still too early!
  8. I genuinely believe that people tend to complain and share results more in circumstances where there have been some issues. Considering ASMED does 5/7 patients per day I believe the number of reviews is statistically poor. I also went there last month to get 5000 grafts and they seemed to be very well organised, of course I’m now looking forward to see what the final result will be like🤞 However back to the original post: I changed mind at the very last minute for various reasons but I’ve always been a big fan of Dr Hasson as I firmly believe he offers the best consistency since 10 years or more. Results are always natural and since you only need less than 2000 graft I definitely recommend you a Strip session especially if you do not suffer of an extended bald pattern. He also practises FUE ( he went to ASMED to learn Dr Koray’s technique). Slightly more expensive but quality comes first. In case you want to have more patients experience from ASMED ( as I understood you’re oriented to Turkey) I also recommend to look at the Turkish forum( you can choose your language even though translations are quite weird). best of luck Chris ✌️
  9. The new hairline really suit your face, I like it a lot! It’s the most difficult time but soon things will start to improve so keep it up ✌️ I am still only 1 month post op (I also went to ASMED) and the time seems to go so slowly 🤦‍♂️
  10. Congrats Craig, it’s an amazing result! I hope mine will come great too( I also went to ASMED last month)!
  11. Looking good MichealD, the worst is almost over. Your donor looks absolutely Fab and also your recipient looks good too( you started with a much better situation than many of us). I am one month post my surgery at ASMED and I believe I’m going through the toughest time of my life 🤦‍♂️
