Interesting, I came across Maitland searching for results, but this forum seemed to suggest Dr. Reddy was the only good surgeon in the UK... Your results seem to suggest differently.

I’ve pondered this for a while, It’s not a rash decesion. I think I’ve been thinking about it for about 3 years seriously. The right side is the bain of my life 😄 Thanks for your comments all the same! I get what you mean in terms of natural progression of hair loss, however my head shape just wasn’t built for it. I’m curious though, what do you mean by risk marking trouble for myself? Like a bodged job on the hairline?

Looking good bro! What you saying, curl/ twist sponge incoming? 😄 Turkey gets a bad rap on here, I’ve read some horror stories but it seems you’ve done your research and it’s paying off. Interested to see how you get on! btw, what did it cost?

Hi Gabrielle, thanks for your comments. I note you’re a representative of Eugenix, if they weren’t so far I’m pretty sure they would’ve been one of the top 3 on my list. I’m in the UK... It is indeed my hairline that bothers me mainly, my hair seems fairly thick apart from the front 3rd, where it’s just a nightmare now. I’ve been in baseball cap jail now for far too long 😀 I need to do something about it. The number of grafts you suggest if really low compared to Koray and Erdogan whom both said - 2500-3000 grafts! Saying that, I did think those numbers were high. I’m now looking at Dr’s Bruno Ferreira, Ximena Villa and also possibly HLC in Turkey- not sure on De yet. To be honest, I’m a little put off of Turkey for the meanwhile. All of these doctors charge €2.5 per graft, but if I really only need 1K to 1.5k I can look at other doctors in the €3.5-5 range.

I happened to stumble across this forum whilst researching hair transplants in Turkey. In the past few days reading posts on here, I’ve realised that Turkey, albeit the Mecca of HT, has some seriously unscrupulous operators, cabbies some may refer to them as lol. I now have a new list of Doctors after ditching the initial ones I was looking into- Koran and Doganay. Thanks hairrestorationnetwork! I’ve got a few pictures taken for the later 2 doctors, hopefully you guys can advice me how many grafts you think I would need and whom out of the doctors I now have shortlisted will be able to help me achieve the my desired results. The first 4 pics are dry hair, then 4 wet and one of rear. Then a couple of what my hairline looked like 5 years ago which is what I’m after but a bit lower, straighter and denser than it was back then. It’s hard to tell in the 2 older pics but my hair is styled to give my hairline a denser straighter appearance. Oh, and of course the old wrinkle your forehead to make it look smaller trick For what it’s worth I’m 43. From what I can tell I’m a Norwood 4V, right? Maybe a 3V??
