  1. @MazAB Thanks Maz, Yeah you are absolutely right about the price and also the added benefit of hand held devices to be used from head to toe, "I have it hanging from a hook on the ceiling of my dry sauna and extend about 8 to 10 cm above my head", Haha that's actually a cool idea, thanks for the links Maz,
  2. @kirkland Thanks for a informative reply, Yeah as you said "The laser caps seem like they are overpriced compared to their performance when going against a handheld device with similar specs" its absolutely true, I think the laser caps have a convenient and ease of use factor, you can wear it and do your chores, I am really not sure about the difference of effectiveness but I think it depends on the wavelength of light and number of laser's used. IRestore costs around 1000 bucks i think, I can get a handheld one for around 100 bucks, Definitely price beats convenience, I will most probably go with a handheld device and use Maz technique of hanging it from ceiling.
  3. @Gatsby Thanks, Yeah I am hoping for a good change in hair density coming months, Yeah I am very happy that microdosing is working, I worked myself upto 0.5mg(m-w-f) since three weeks after using 0.25mg(m-w-f) for a month, actually thanks to you after seeing your thread I convinced myself for micro-dosing I am glad that its working, probably after a month I will increase the friday dose to 1mg.
  4. @JC71 thanks yeah I am looking forward with high optimism for the months 5-6, I am actually confused as I dont see any longer hair's in there, all of them are short hair's, not sure of the reason, I am thinking it might be a shed from fin or could be a regular shed as you said its normal to lose that much amount of hair's.
  5. Another area of concern for me is this hair shed, I lose this many hair's every time i comb after a shower, also the weird thing is these seem to be short hair's and thick my hair length is quite long now, what could be the reason for these short hair's falling out, probably a shed from finestride as I am into 45 days restarting 0.25 mg fin then increasing it to 0.5 (m-w-f) a couple of weeks ago?
  6. Today I marked the completion of 4rth months of my HT. I am really not sure If i had progress from month 3 to 4, probably you guys could give me better feedback seeing my fourth month pictures, Should I worry about the temples, I do not see a lot of improvement? But I am very hopeful going into month 5, as I heard that's where magic happens. Medications, Increased finasteride dose from 0.25 (m-w-f) to 0.5 mg (m-w-f). planning to start Rogaine 5% foam and LLLT(iRestore) starting this month. @MazAB @Gatsby @kirkland I am researching into LLLT could you guys please give your feedback and which device would you recommand?
  7. I had a hair transplant 4 months ago, I wanted to start with Rogaine 5% foam to manage my existing hairs. I could not find a lot of sources to buy Rogaine in Canada except a couple of them like, Amazon and HairSupply. which one should i go for, any one had experience with hairsupply? I do not want to end up using counterfeits and ruin my transplant. https://www.hairsupply.ca/ https://www.amazon.ca/Rogaine-Thinning-Treatment-Minoxidil-Month/dp/B07896C925/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=rogaine&qid=1644362260&rdc=1&sr=8-2 Please guide.
  8. Thanks Nelson, I actually have dandruff and Itching issues, planning to start on nizoral but just got scared by that post.
  9. I see, thanks I gonna start minoxidil soon. I was going through the forum about nizoral 2% I found this post he says that It effected his transplanted hairs, I got scared although He was not able to justify that happened because of nizoral. I also asked Eugenix regarding this, they said I can use it 2 times per week. how common it is to use nizoral soon after a HT?
  10. @MazAB Thanks for the detailed explanation. I am thinking to start minoxidil 5% as well, can we start it at 4 month mark of the HT. also what are your views on starting nizoral 2% after a HT?
  11. Hell lot of improvement from your last update, the hair line suits you great and temples on point. you are on both minoxidil and finasteride?
  12. Hey @nodono waiting for your 3 month update !!
  13. @MazAB Great Improvement from month 3 to month 4, you family is absolutely right it doesn't look you had a HT, this is just awesome considering that you only passed 4 months mark. I also completed my 3 months mark, I would be delighted if could see the progress like you after my 4rth month. wishing you the best!
  14. 3 Months update Here is my hair condition exactly after 93 days post hair transplant. Restarted finasteride 0.25mg thrice a week since 3 weeks now after having sides with 1 mg everyday, thank god no sides yet hoping that the micro dosing will work for me this time. Few questions 1) How will i officially know the shedding phase is over? I dont see any baby hairs growing or such but I also dont see any hairs shedding while shampooing. 2) I am continuing with the dove intense repair shampoo suggested by Eugenix at the time of first head wash can i continue with it ? because I see a lot of people using mild shampoo or baby shampoo. 3)I am planning to have a hair-cut on the sides, what should I be careful about while having a first hair cut?
  15. @Naveenkumar Hello Naveen could you please share your progress, I think you crossed 8 months mark hoping you are having great growth.
  16. @Jarvis Man Congrats, Great Results!!!!! You look at least 10 years young to me! Talk to the clinic about the tangled hair's, they might suggest you something!!! Were you on Finestride?
  17. @Melvin- Moderator Thanks, yeah that's my plan. @MazAB Yeah, Exactly I am planning to micro-dose with 0.25 every other day to begin, I hope I get along this time. @Mggm Thanks, Yeah I will surely think about Keto 2% shampoo once I feel comfortable with 0.25 mg. @Gatsby Thanks, actually Your case gave me the motivation to go on for a second try, I wish and hope to get going this time because I don't to miss out reaping the benefits finasteride offers. @Rbs Thanks, Yeah exactly that's what I am planning but hoping to get along with finasteride because I know nothing can be so convenient and effective like it. Worst case? you have so many success stories without oral fin out here including Melvin's:- Yeah I just recently got to know his results are without fin that gave me instant relief. @nodono Sorry to hear that It didn't work for you. Yeah, I would like to give it a try with micro-dosing as I saw it worked for many people. @SLAThanks, Exactly man, they say that DHT reduction is almost the same even with 0.25 mg.
  18. Seems progress settling in, probably time to say bye-bye to the ugly duckling phase and start witnessing wonders in the coming months. Cheers and best of luck!!
  19. @Berba11 Thanks for the detailed Write-up. your doner seems to be healed perfectly. Actually, You mentioned Exactly what I felt with the hairline design process. I also went In with expectations that Dr. Arika will sit and give me options with the hairline design. But she came in drew the hairline in just no time, Although she told me to have my own time in deciding about the hairline I felt like there could have been two-way conversations and she could have explained to me my options. This was the only part I felt was not up to my expectations and I felt a bit rushed upon. Anyway, your temples and hairline design seems perfect mate. Wishing you the best!!
  20. @MazAB @Zoomster @nodono @Melvin- Moderator @Gatsby @bald-and-bearded @JC71 @Rbs @Egy @folicallychallenged @Berba11 @Mggm Guys Need your advice! I had my surgery done on October 13, I was advised to take finasteride 1mg daily since day 1 of my surgery, I had no issues with finasteride until 1 month, then suddenly around November 12-13, I started feeling these following sides, 1) Testicular pain and also some pain in the groin area, 2) Weaker Erection I would say (80-85%) 3) Irregular pain in the Shaft of the willy, 4) Mild Nausea (feeling of vomiting), 5) I felt like the skin of my willy became loose and It's still like that after 3 weeks. I texted the Eugenix team on the WhatsApp group they created for my post-op care, A doctor named SHISHIR at Eugenix advised me to stop for 15 days, I stopped. Now after almost 22-23 days later I texted him he said to continue with 1mg every other day. I think all my sides are gone except some pain in the shaft sometimes during the day comes in for a minute or so and goes away. Also, I Observed that I wake at least 2-3 times during the night to pee(I use to wake up once or sometimes I do not, before fin). I am thinking to start with 0.25mg finasteride on every other day, (or) Topical fin(0.1%) + mix(5%) everyday. I Used Topical fin(0.1%) + mix(5%) every day for like 3 months before surgery with no issues( Except some very mild testicular pain). I am inclined towards oral fin 0.25mg, I want to give myself another chance. What's your advice guys and did anyone have a similar experience? The Photo of Topical finasteride + Minoxidil solution I was referring to above.
