Today is technically 5 months, so I’m going to post a quick update. Will do a full featured report with different lighting, wet hair, etc. at month 6.

Hairline has started to fill in and thicken up. I am seeing new shoots each week. Density behind the hairline is getting better too. I would say the result is starting to hit its stride. In certain lighting conditions, like bathrooms and down lights, it’s fairly thin looking, but it’s getting better all the time. I feel it’s looking less and less like I’ve had a transplant.

Donor is mind blowing. Truly impeccable work. Dr Arika said she went 1700 grafts before she had a transacted follicle. The final result speaks to that. I can barely tell any density loss in the back.

    Current Routine:

    Finasteride 1mg x 1

    Dutasteride .5mg 1/ week

    Biotin 10,000 daily

    Multivitamin daily

Minoxidil - crown only - 2x per day.

Pictures taken with no styling products or concealers, but I did take the dryer to the front to give it a standup look.

    Happy growing, gents!

Its indeed a great result but I cannot compare it with mine. I am not on any medication and I believe it takes full 12 months to know if the surgery was a success. I am hopeful that it will be👍

Also my suggestion to anyone out there is to keep all the possibilities in mind. Dont get carried away by videos of amazing transformation in 4-5 months as this one. The best results become the face of marketing and one may start expecting moon and stars watching such videos.

I am a prime example of what kind of expectations to set and atleast you will not get disheartened.  It takes time and longer than 12 months in some cases.

It would be a great idea for clinics to create a video with someone who is a slow grower. I do not believe that only 5% fall in this category and specially if someone is not taking medication.

However, One thing I can confirm is that Eugenix is always there when I need them and this is very very important. Dr Sethi is always there whenever I have panicked or had any questions about my growth.

Thanks for following my progress and Stay safe !!

6 month update will be posted on 22-23 June :)

You are right sir. Please let us compile the data of those patients who were  slow growers.

    Hello

Just wondering if anyone on here has previously undergone a HT and proceed to buzz their hair bald until the new hairs grow in as that's what I'm considering doing.

For the last few years I've been using concealer to mask my super thin hair. Original plan was to have a HT during lockdown and then take time off / work from home until existing hair regrew long enough so that concealer could be applied and appearance wouldn't have changed much.

Unfortunately it may turn out that I have to return to work much sooner than I originally anticipated so I am toying with the idea of just buzzing all the hair off when I return (at least then the main focus will be on how I've buzzed my hair and not people wondering why my hair looks like I've aged 30 years in the space of a few weeks.

One positive of this is that as the hair does grow in, it will be gradual so it won't look too different overnight (whereas if I applied concealer and then suddenly stopped when the hair density grew in it would be quite a drastic change very quickly).

However the negative side to this is that I realise new growth takes time and so I might have to keep buzzing my hair for a while if I do.

Just wondering if anyone else has similar experience because most posts I see, people just let their natural hair grow and leave it whilst waiting for the new hair to grow (people who don't use concealer as they'll look pretty normal after a few weeks)

Always take advice from your hair stylist. They are professionals and can help you style your hair at any length and make it look presentable. If you try to buzz your hair yourself, you might end up with uneven proportions. Also, you can keep a fade cut for until the complete hair growth is there. But do make sure to keep the length in your donor at least 3 to 4 cms or else the donor patch is slightly visible.

Hair styles are all about visuals. If your sides are slimmed down and the top has volume then it will look very good. This will also allow your transplanted hair to attain length and not disturb their length acquisition.

Thank you Abhinay.  Really appreciate that coming from you guys.  Eugenix was on my shortlist of clinics last summer when I as finalising my decision.  I really like the work that Dr. Bansal and Dr. Sethi are doing over there.

It was just a case of logistics for me really,  Much easier to go to Turkey from England and come back within a few days.

All the best and keep up the great work.

Glad to hear this 👍. Thank you.

Hello I was wondering if what I’m experiencing is hair loss or just a mature hairline and if if is should I start taking actions now to help fight it? I’ve added very recent photos of my hairline along with the best ones from 2015 and 2016 after that it’s pretty hard to get a good look at my hairline. The only person in my family to ever experience hair loss was my mother’s father which I know is a biggie so for about a year now I’ve been starting to pay attention. I’m 24 now and I’ve also added the very first photos I took when starting this. They’re all on order of year so the last ones are most recent. Thank you to anyone who took the time to answer.CC010917-E693-4BF2-BAAD-E038BDC34AF3.thumb.jpeg.1019d7b4e3130f948144b44f76ee267e.jpeg5A47EBA8-40B4-4437-9FB7-D2C5301AC0AA.thumb.jpeg.f449da00bdaf1ce0b652e77116d89bed.jpegA734BB3F-2739-4379-B0D4-2EE930392D06.thumb.jpeg.7de9e93f570bcacb9c389c75c7d0034d.jpegA089FA7A-2471-4FC8-8C03-93D3437DBBE3.thumb.jpeg.ddc3d77f308eb8648fb19df5e9952ecc.jpeg3B5C967E-9947-44D0-9939-37EB4B4A0EB7.thumb.jpeg.b09c9b48ea219420678f427495ee32cf.jpegE4132CFE-B786-46A4-A4BF-C7E21836AA02.thumb.jpeg.9b538f3ac0c92e660c0e17480b253fa7.jpeg

You should consult a Dermatologist and start with Finasteride. You are beginning to lose hair. If you can prevent any further hair loss then there is nothing like it.

Updated my experience and added photos from the surgery in the first post.

Quick update with a picture as of 4 days post Op.

The donor is healing quite well at the back of the head. The sides still sting a bit and look a little worse than the back of the head. I do not think they were over harvested and it could just be that the sides are more sensitive than the back. I am starting to feel the back of my head and the numbness has reduced in that part of the donor quite significantly.

I obviously have not touched the recipient to know if it is still numb or not and will wait 7 days before trying to make than evaluation

    4 days post op.JPG

All ok Sir. Please let me know if you need any assistance at any point of time.

  7. In our practice, after one week of FUE, the skin is nearly normal, both in donor and recipient areas.
So, most of the people, however sensitive might be about discreetness, are back to work by one week.
In very few cases the erythema (slight pinkishness) stays till 10 days, of the job was a bigger one, let’s say more than 4000-5000 grafts.

I had no idea that fish oil could cause bleeding. I went through the pre op instructions and did not see that written anywhere. Tagging @Abhinay Singh for help confirming this.

    Hello Sir,

I got my ht in Akara in January , 10 th and 11 th 2020.
I was in Ankara because I was going to get my Ht with Kaan Pekiner. I planned  2500/3000 grafts in 2 days (6-7 Jan).
As many of you know, after 189 extractions, Pekiner aborted the op, saying I had miniaturized grafts.
So, I decided to visit HLC the 7.
I explained what happened and I asked to extract some grafts to check if they were healthy.
I really liked dr Ozgur: he was smart, funny and confident. He paid a lot of attention to my case. He visited me with all the other doctors in the clinic.
They extracted 7 grafts, they said my grafts were ok so I decided. to give them try.
(For the record, I sent the dame days my tricopsocy images to bruno Ferreira and he also said my grafts were healthy. I will never be able to show how much I appreciated his diagnosis and I will go into deeper details in the next future).

The very hard part was the hairline design because I pekiner shaved my head  and because he said that my grafts were weak and he supposed that they weren't going to grow so I was scared to be very aggressive.
So I went for a conservative hairline.

    The op:
day 1: Dr. Ozgur made the extractions the first day (about 900 grafts) and dr Ali made. the insertions.
I suppose that dr Ozgur wanted to be sure that my grafts were ok.
day 2: Dr Ali made both extractions and insertions.

In my humble opinion, that used a lot of grafts for a such small area.
    They calculalted 41 cm2, 50 UF/cm2, 2050 UF.
Anyway, if you see the pics, I had my native hairs for about 20 cm2 so something doesn't add up.

Post Op customer care: it is their weakest point.
They do not contact the patients to ask if everything is ok and they barely answer to the email.
I suppose this is because they know their job ...but for me it wasn't easy.

    Before. op I was using:
    finasteride 1mg/die
    topical minoxidil 6ml/die
locoidon 1 ml/3 times per week
    dermoroller 1/week
    nizoral

After the HT, I started to. use oral minoxidil.
As you can see, it improved a lot my hair density and thickness. It is incredible.

At 4,5, I'm happy with the result. Hope it will improve in the next future.

    Thanks for the response Abhinay.

Is it possible to opt for Dr. Pradeep Sethi in the Comprehensive and Exclusive Package or would our option be limited to Dr. Arika? I personally think both of them are great surgeons, but if need be & preferred, can a patient choose Dr. Sethi or does he exclusively operate in the Premium tier?

Dr Pradeep does few cases only since he is focusing more on training and development which is the important part of every organisation. Also he has been working on his stem cell research so he has limited himself to Premium package where he is performing major tasks including hairline implantation. On the other hand Dr Arika does the maximum cases.

  11. The index patient was 45 years when he came to us for a transplantation procedure. He was Grade 5A on the Norwood Hamilton Scale of baldness. We gave him 3019 grafts for his transplantation procedure and covered his frontal zone. After 5 months he started seeing good growth on his scalp. After 2.5 years, we have displayed his results in the video where he has a complete change in look. He has a very good density and is extremely satisfied with his results.

The doctor did prescribe finasteride but I did not want to take it. I have few friends that had some side effects using finasteride. I’m sorry I do not know the graft density, I will try finding out if I can.

Sir, I have been taking finastride from last 6 months and I have not seen any side effects.

You can try some topical finastride instead.

Meanwhile please go through the below two videos

Fantastic results, holy smokes. I love how clean the work is directly post-op.

If any members on here have seen results of Eugenix's work on caucasian men with thin blonde hair please let me know. Very interested.

Thank you sir. Please go through the transformation of @paddyirishman and @Zoomster

  14. The index patient was 45 years old. He was Grade VI on the Norwood Hamilton Scale of baldness. We gave him 5445 grafts with adequate coverage and density. 4545 grafts were taken from the scalp and 900 grafts were taken from the beard. After a year, we witnessed amazing results on his scalp. What we have tried to portray is a very realistic representation of the results one can expect.

If I select Euginex clinic, I will be doing the surgery in their Gurgaon facility...although Mumbai would be convenient for me.

As an engineer myself, I know how important technicians are and I cannot do many jobs in my field better than my technicians. Are the technicians in Mumbai or other centers same level to Gurgaon? I highly doubt it.

Also, their Premium package and Comprehensive package has confused the hell out of me and I do not see any difference except the double price. This is one of the reason I am holding back in selecting Euginex for my HT.

    1. Premium Package

    Cost of Rs. 210/graft*:
    • Planning, designing and 100% slits are done by Dr Pradeep Sethi or Dr Arika Bansal.
    • Complete involvement includes below;
      Designing the hairline,
      Crucial parts of extraction,
      Hairline implantation,
Supervision of graft placement assisted by our expertly trained and experienced senior technicians.

    2. Comprehensive and Exclusive Package

    Cost of Rs. 120/graft*:

    • Planning, designing and 100% slits are done by Dr Arika Bansal.
    • Complete involvement includes below;
    • Designing the hairline.
    • Crucial parts of extraction.
    • Supervision of implantation steps
    • Crucial steps of implantation

Sir, in Premium package Hairline implantation will be done Dr Pradeep or Dr Arika and in comprehensive and exclusive package it will be done by technicians. Rest all procedure will be same.
