Well...sort of yes, but that is still not the real top view, as the picture was taken from behind. For real top view camera lens should be kept right above the top of scalp.  Btw...are you using concealers in the post op pictures ? I notice black scalp, in the transplanted region, instead of its natural  color.

    Concealer! Never!

Great job done there. Is the job done by Dr Sethi or Dr Bansal?

Design and planning by : Dr Arika Bansal

Supervision of rest of the work : Dr Pradeep and Dr Arika.

Amongst us, we both produce the same quality of results because we both have studied from the same  Dermatology department of AIIMS, New Delhi between 2005-2008. Then started working together since 2008. And she is my better half!

So, she is better than me, on any day.

We share the same teachings, instruments, technicians, theatre and academic skills whether it is writing the book or conducting workshops.

Well it's pretty obvious now, isn't it?

They're trying to get patients to fly in from other countries and that is fine (why not?) - but the cancerous marketing and usage of crazy terms like "leading hair transplant clinic" (literally in quotes) is what gets me too.

They've also got some overly enthusiastic patients here who at every turn rub it in that there's some sort of special hair transplant record that the clinic holds (highly misleading).

If only they just let the results speak for themselves, be transparent with the costs and not hire a marketing team (who are doing a terrible job with all the fake Google Reviews), they truly would be a good choice.

We were trying not to respond to your  comments for few days, but now you really want that we should say something so that your negative comments should get traction !

(Now I myself, Dr Pradeep Sethi is replying. This can be a moral victory for you as you troubled us so much that we got forced to reply to you! Cheers!)

In each of your posts you have highlighted that we are not transparent in “Costing”.

Why don’t you try once with us. Just send a query to our clinic and see how “non transparent “ we are. You can post the screen shots here.

You can try from many numbers and accounts (in which you are a master.)

We do close to 2 procedures every day and we are surviving since 2013 (now we only do hair transplant, from 2010 to early 2013 we were also doing dermatology practice.)

Our focus has been only upon quality work, one pointed focus, creating great facility, sharing the knowledge by writing articles and book, and remain active in academics.

We have now three more highly qualified doctors, Dr Alok, Dr Abhinav and Dr Priyadarshini who are with us for 1-3 years. They are also producing great results and will approach HTN to be independently recommended here.

We also train other doctors. We have university program of fellowship for one year in hair transplant and we do frequent workshops in our centre. (While I am writing it for you, young  doctors have gathered in our office today for a national conference cum workshop in our office organised by ACSICON 2019.)

We also have two demanding sons,11 and 8 years, who keep us busy with their studies and stuff!

So, to summarise, we are extremely busy.

We don’t have any representative yet, who would post and reply for us. The posts are being done by our clinic manager. (Soon, we will have a digital person, now he is watching your activities and is highly disturbed see all these well thought out “curated” comments by these “non patients”.)

We also not trying to hire any new accounts in “few hours” to post for us.

If you are a “true” patient then have a first hand experience with us. If you are hired (which I am pretty sure) to show us in negative light and tell the whole world that we aren’t not transparent in “prices” then let me tell you, we are getting most of our patients through references of old patients or other doctors who endorse our work. We had never tried marketting because our old patients keep us busy.

The attachments are proofs that your accounts are born to write these negative, thoughtful and bashing comments.

You can mail me at pradeep@eugenix.in or call me at  +918826153333 if you are a patient!

(I hope you will not repeat these silly, cheap and restless  marketting methods. They won’t fetch you any traction.)

    @Bill - Managing Publisher@Melvin-Moderator

I hope you see these accounts and the purpose of their short birth in this forum.

    very nice result Dr

by DHT you mean using the Lion implanter pen ?

who is doing the implantation work at the recipient site ?

    Thank you for the appreciation.

DHT stands for Direct Hair Transplantation.

The implantation is done by either doctors or trained technicians with the help of metallic dull needle implanters in the pre made slits (which are made by the leading doctor.)

  9. This patient received 5521 grafts approximately 14 months ago. He came in for a follow-up this week and told us the hair transplant has definitely changed his life. He feels so much better among his colleagues and his confidence level has increased now. He never shies to share his hair transplant experience with others.

The genuine smile on the patient's face after the results speak volumes about your work. Wonderful job Dr. Sethi and Dr. Bansal.

Please consider showing the pictures of donor region in future posts.

Please find the donor area pic. We use window trimming, where in the hair is lifted and a small strip is trimmed, so that the long hair above would cover the trimmed area. We have taken 3 strips of trimming in the current case.

This looks great. Big cosmetic improvement.

what would cause you to look for alopecia areata?

if a patient has a history of one outbreak of alopecia areata, one spot 2cm in diameter, dormant for two years, are they a candidate?

    Thank you for the appreciation.

Usually, females do not have a big forehead. And when there is a history of gradual receding of the forehead then it is always better to rule out the other causes of slow receding foreheads in females; Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia and Alopecia Areata.

If the spot is dormant for more than 4-5 years then that spot becomes eligible for HT.

She must be thrilled.  I do have a question.  70 is still young.  But suppose you get a, 85 YO wanting transplants.  And say this individual has been saving his entire life to do this.  Do you move forward to grant him his wish?  Do you turn him away understanding he doesn't have much time left?

Regardless of what his donor looks like...are you better off suggesting he takes a cruise with his grand-kids and enjoy the time he has left?

In the 30+ years I've been involved in this industry I've had my share of patients dealing with this specific scenario.  It happens.  Are you morally obligated to the right thing?  What is the right thing?

In my case I turned ALL of them away and suggested something else other than a hair transplant. Was that the right thing to do?  (Forget revenue for the office - which also comes into play).

We are in an industry where I feel patients are very vulnerable.  It is our responsibility to educate them and let them make their own decisions.  But at 85 or older?  What do you think?

Thank you for appreciating the job!

Coming back to the question of age:

We all know that baldness is a cosmetic problem not a true disease. Earlier there was no solution to this baldness, now people have affordable and safe option of getting a hair job done. Few months back one 80 years old active lady was brought to our office by her daughter in law. The older lady was eager to fix her hairline! We did that with 1500 grafts. She is bubbling with joy. Now she wants her 83 years old hubby to get a new hair line and match her!

So, the point is if all the things are safe and affordable and does not need any maintenance then if some one has a desire to have hair on his/her head then they should go ahead.

(This is my point of view.)

  13. A 70 years old lady with high forehead approached for hair line redefinition. We did a thorough evaluation and ruled out any dermatological condition like FFA (frontal fibrosing alopecia) or AA      (alopecia areata).  We did close to 2360 grafts on the front and temporal area in female pattern hairline. The hair started off in 2 months and by 6-7 months she developed amazing hair!

    Hello - @DrPradeep @arika9ab

what is your advice on starting finasteride 6 months prior to surgery and post surgery? I was never on it and sent my photos to few top surgeons who said I am not a good candidate for HT unless I start finasteride because i have DUPA (diffused unpatterned Alopecia). Please advise. Thanks

Please send the pics from all the angles to comment in your case.
