Because 6 months is the time you start seeing results from medication. You may not need as many grafts or may change your mind about getting an HT for example @Shifty

Yeah i am starting year 3.  I can get away nicely with fibers now, although I am still entertaining because of a high hairline in the front.

Oddly I had a reputable and good doctor here in NY recently tell me I need the same amount of grafts as Diep did pretty much  4 years ago. Its strange my head is night and day.

    I get mine here: https://fueclinic.com/services/treatments/topical-dutasteride/

Still maintaining and crown continues to improve, no sides.

This formula has been tested on several patients for 12 months according to the Dr, I can verify it works incredibly well

I would advice you to stay away from topical finasteride. Same sides as orals for me

    No sides on topical dutasteride

Thanks. Any one know if there is an issue switching from fin to dut? Or oral fin to topical dut to be exact?

Yea the topical formulas are mostly under the radar. I remember checking out the minoxdilmax website a while back when it was first posted on, had some sections that looks suspect, less than professional. And the one you posted doesn't exactly inspire confidence either, even though it has a big HIPPA compliant seal at the bottom. lol Wouldn't surprise me if these were basement home chemistry operations.

I've seen @mustang post about getting topical, think he's doing the dutasteride one currently from his HT Dr. Mwamba. He has offices in Brussels and Atlanta according to his site link below. Until it goes mainstream retail, I'd feel more comfortable getting it from a Dr like that, or getting a recommendation from a reputable HT doctor. Maybe reach out to Dr Bisanga or his rep @Raphael84 . I've seen them recommend oral minoxidil so they are open to the un-orthodox delivery of FDA approved meds, maybe they can recommend someone.

Your results are awesome - You definitely don’t need a HT at this point.

2 things I would like to stress to anyone reading this thread though - Because a lot of guys are just going to jump on the same regimen as yours.

    1. If you are using rogaine foam, carefull when doing the switch to spectral CBD. I did, lost A HUGE AMOUNT of hair - had to go back to rogaine foam which is a staple in my opinion. Spectral might look better on paper but the few studies available are biased.

    2. BE VERY CAREFUL with Propecia/finasteride - This drug could litterally end your life as you know it. Side effects are real, we tend to think that they happen only to others but if they hit you, they will hit you REAL hard.

Bottom line and if you want to play it safe :

    - LLLT

    - MINOXIDIL

    - DERMAPEN

    - SUPPLEMENTS

    - PRP ONCE A MONTH.

Plenty of info on this site about fin and its side effects. Plenty of people who get off it almost immidiatly because of them. I am crossing my fingers. Nothing crazy has happened to me so far. Hair is odd, what works for some doesn't for others so in that regards you have to try everything to find out.  As for  Ds labs (spectral), you can use both if you would like, they actually sell a minox product on the site. They also warn about hair fall which also happens with minox. I am on month 5 with the switch.

I can only tell you what I do and show you how it works/doesnt work. The rest is up to you.

Forget about hair transplants, you've found your solution. I find that fibers work really good, but obviously the more hair you have the better.

Its all the processes that go along with it. Its a lot of work a repetition. I dream of a day I can just wake up and not do anything. No sprays, no powders, no pills. Just a fade and some hair on my head.

No, that's just a stock picture of the cutter with some big generic pill. I just added an annotation to the picture to clarify that.

I wasn't talking about the picture. I should have specified, I was talking  In general. I see users of Fin talk about 5mg and halves of. So I am curious if I should up at any point. Or don't bother right now because it holding. or, will more have a better result.

I notice you comb your hair a little different when it’s wet so it can be a bit deceiving. Your part starts a lot higher on the wet pic and it comes to the same height as your whorl. In the dry you bring some of the thicker hairs that are lower down, up and over. Not a bad way to do it to give a better illusion of crown cover.

I did that on purpose to show the weak points more clearly, but to also show that they are easily covered without looking un-natural. I guess in my whorls respect it doesnt look like a comb over thankfully.

Also because of the light and how G'damn white my head is (lol) it also looks worse than it actually is. When the hair is dry its naturally thicker and casts more shadow covering the whiteness of my head and when its darker its even more unnoticeable.  Also helps I am 6'3".

I imagine if i could actually tan my dome it would look better.
