  1. Thanks guys, ill sit him down this weekend. He hasn't mentioned anyone me but I can almost be sure he will welcome the info.
  2. 2 month mark doing the above religiously. 2 months in I've seen 2 marketable differences. 1) thicker hair 2) new growth The last pic is an upclose of the left temple area where there was zero hair before starting finesteride in September and the rest after. If you cannot see them there are small hairs growing all over the pace. This is happening on the right and starting to happen in the front of my hair line as well. Not easy to notice but in person they are very noticeable. Praying this is happening on crown as well. i just cant see or photo it because of angle. I dont notice as much difference in the crown, which sucks because its what I am cognizant of the most, but an upclose shows some progress. (last 2 pics) . 9/22 11/25 Hope this helps someone out there.
  3. Today I noticed my 18 yr old nephew is clearly losing his hair. His dad is as bald as a cue ball. Should I get him on the big 3 now if he wants?
  4. It does, the shampoo I am using says 2-3 times a week so I am going 3. if I am anything its consistent. I will be posting monthly updates on the progress to see how everything is working, help some other out with the regimen. Next update 11/26.
  5. Anyone can Chime in if 1% Ketoconazole is any less effective than 2%? I have a large bottle w/1% but am willing to shelve it is 2% has better return. Thanks
  6. Its not better its different, the edges are not seamless at all (very thick base), its made more for woman and or people who still have hair on their head like I do. you do not have to shave your head to wear it, which is actually great. At the end of the day It is a decent option if no other option is available! the problem I had with it was, the hair didn't match mine at all. it was thicker & darker etc etc. Also, the part of the hair that swirls (usually in the back of the top of the head) was literally directly in the middle of my head. Its as if someone put their finger in the middle of the base and put hairs around it. Suffice to say having everyone point this out and laugh wasn't a great feeling, which is how I ended up here lol
  7. I tried this. In all honestly it was a complete fail for me. The first time I had it on I went to a function and everyone kept asking me if I was wearing a wig =/ I would have been better served leaving the $6k in my bank account for an HT. I guess if an HT is completely out of the question, its an expensive version of a hair system, it would work just fine. it does have really nice hair attached to it.
  8. You've come this far because you know you're unhappy. If you're OK with being unhappy cancel it. My guess is you're not. Everyone gets nervous I'm sure, just think how you will feel 6 months 12 months 18 months from surgery. That should be enough to make the leap of faith here.
  9. Once this bottle goes I'll switch to this, any difference between 2% and 1%? My regimen is simple for me because it all happens in the morning and night. I have too say, areas above temple are growing hairs, a lot of them! If they grow to full terminal I'll be a happy camper! I cannot tell on the crown as much because of the angle so looking into buying a hair magnifier. If the top looks like the temples I believe this regime is a game changer.

  11. Awesome! Tomorrow is day 1 using it. I'll use it Thursday and Sundays. How did you come to find it? I found it randomly looking for stuff to help the current situation.
  12. Its 100% because of the FUE option. Its really the surgery I'm not happy about. I've been lucky enough to have never has to have surgery for anything...
  13. already booked Dr. Diep. I think I have decent donor so I am hoping, as he has done a few times in the past, he can harvest more than the 2500 spoken about. We shall see, again i am not completely against FUT. Maybe I can be the first guy to rock a thick crown but nothing else?
  14. Not sure of the efficacy of laser caps but I do it anyways. I own an irestore cap I purchased a year or so ago. Its a few hundred bucks but pretty sure you can go up to a few thousand on these things. Look up the derma roller, very promising. YouTube has plenty of videos as well as some tests that were done. Link n study below. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3746236/
  15. No one did, I am basing my thought process on 1) what I have seen done via this forum and the Internet and 2) how I feel about the progression, or lack there of my hair loss. Based of a brief video chat I was told 3-5000. so you are all telling me what is a high probability. I know I am going against the grain when I say my hair loss has subsided, but honestly know it has, these aren't delusions of grandeur. Everyone is different, much like some peoples hair grows in 4 months some takes 1.5 years after an HT. My head also seems to be reacting well to fin/minox/derma/etc etc and ill be adding Ketoconazole to the mix. Hairs are growing where it was dead, like 0 hairs, right above my temples. I'm actually pretty surprised because i thought once it was smooth that's it. I am also not 100% against an FUT to get more grafts and having a higher survival rate of the grafts taken. I just prefer to not have a chunk of my head ripped out. But fuckin A I will if I don't have to do this again lol
  16. I literally just purchased this online, waiting for it should arrive today or tomorrow, it has 1% Ketoconazole the active ingrediant in Nizoral. Should i throw it away and just get Nizoral? itam states use basically once every 2 weeks.
  17. Interesting, I learn something every day. Is is topical or pill? I know if I do a search for it 100000000 different products will show up.
  18. I'm not going by anything other than my hair is NOT falling out anymore. At peak hair loss I could shake my head and see 20 hairs fall out, every time I shook my head! I am only going through this process now because I believe it has subsided. Men in my family all recede, shit i've had a receding hairline since high school (its actually natural just got worse with age) but lucky me the crown went, the only one. I'm done losing hair now I'm just trying to regrow anything left over before i get a HT to minimize grafts needed. Quick Q: Whats Nizoral?
  19. Here some photos. I am not looking for the full frontal assault of hairline some people ultimately get. I am OK with the receding look. I have always had the Eddie Munster even as a kid so it works with me. So in essence I just need the front angles touched up. From what I have seen, I believe (more so hope) it will take less that 2500 to accomplish what I am looking for. As I stated before, the crown is more debilitating than anything for me. Everyone is different. I mentioned this in a previous post, I had a terrible reaction to the glue they used in a system I had on. It basically burned the skin off my head. It felt uncomfortable on the way home, when I woke up my whole head was on fire and wet from the reaction to the glue. Some areas were effected pretty badly, the temples no longer had hair and I even think the patchy parts in the frontal are due to that as well. I am hoping the regimen I am on now with foams, meds and such help grow it all back. Looks promising so far as I can see little hairs in places I thought for sure were dead forever. Only time will tell.
  20. I'd be willing to throw my hat into the PRP ring, but every time someone posts abut it, everyone says its basically pseudoscience.
