Jus took few pics with  flash. Will take proper pics later. Thanks but even if it's 70 percent result at this stage. 70 percent should cover up scalp at least. I see gaps in hair lime with one strand way far from the other :P if I push down few hair in hat the level of hairline then one can see big bald patch.

To be honest man, this doesn’t look too bad for 7 months, you still have a couple or a few more months for it to noticeably improve and don’t forget the caliber of the new hair that has already grown will double in thickness giving the appearance of better density, hopefully your next update shows some more improvement.

  2. IMO, I think it looks good given it was probably just somewhere around 1,600 to 1,750 grafts , and depending on your hair caliber, to give the 3,500 hairs they calculated so it’s a good conservative result and I can understand you wanting more to bring in more density in the temples or lower them a bit and you probably can if you choose to as you may have thousands more available donor grafts. Either way it’s a 👍🏻

  3. Hey man, sorry about what you’re going through at such a young age. Since you’re in NYC I would suggest going to see Dr Bloxham, does great work and is in Long Island so you don’t have to travel far to get a consultation with a reputable doctor.

Here is a video he just posted to his YouTube channel of a young patient with similar hair loss pattern to yours, have a look and best of luck!

Just to show you what I mean I've attached a close up. On the left of the image is my natural hair and then pretty much straight after that one hair pointing down the rest on the right is the new. You can see the hair grows slightly differently from the scalp. Nothing major but just these things into consideration when finally discussing.

Oh, I see...honestly, I think I would be okay with that given the number of grafts that the doctor utilized for you which seems on the low-to-mid end, but I totally understand where you’re coming from wanting it all to flow a little more naturally. I wonder if another few hundred grafts in each side would help “prop up” the new hair to flow a little more naturally due to the extra density, so that it was a little closer to you native density,... although I’m not suggesting you’d need it as I like the look of it as is. 🙂

Probably the only thing I regret is not taking more time to think about how my hairline naturally grows and explaining that fully as one side does need at least some hair products in it to force it to flow rather than grow away from the direction the natural hair goes. Since I don't tend to push it up at the front if I haven't put anything in my hair however, it's not really a problem though so it's only a minor issue.

I would prefer it to be as thick as the rest of my hair but having more grafts at the same time can decrease the chances of success so I let the people who know what they are doing make the decision for me.

Thanks again and for answering with honesty, it’s very helpful and something those of us interested in Dr Demirsoy to think about.

That picture is taken in flattering light as if you're really looking for it in certain lights you can still tell i've had it done, but yeah have been very fortunate to end up with a good result, and for the money i can't fault Dr Demirsoy's work :)

Looks great in my opinion. Would you have any photos from side and top down views?

    Hello everyone,

Just to update...I sent the photos of my hair to Dr Koray (similar photos to my 7.5 month update)-he is happy with the progress.I haven't decided if I will keep it shaved for couple more months or let it grow out again. I will post a 8 month photo using my Nikon Camera so should be better quality.

    Asmed email below:

thank you for sending us your Photos. I showed Dr.Koray your pictures and he's really happy with your current result. Kindly be informed that is not your final result and you will see in an improvement in the next few months :). We would kindly ask you to send us some updated photos with your 12th-month result and please send us your new photos with long hair.

I think your donor area looks great from your last photo update, can barely tell anything was removed. I also like the way they did your temple triangles. The density although does need improving.

  8. Hey man, great write-up, will be following your progress.

I don’t want to sound too “negative”, but, in my honest not-going-to-sugar-coat-it opinion, the hairline is a bit low for my comfort, i don’t know your age but you look to be in your mid-to-late 20’s going from your photos so I would have gone with a hairline just a bit higher like in-between the 2 blue lines the Dr drew on your scalp for the grafts to be placed in, around 1/2 an inch higher from his drawn hairline, reason being is the whole area/coverage/density/graft amount and further native hair thinning/loss native hair concern.

Now with that said, you do look to be a slow grower/progressor so it’s still early in the game for you so I’m wishing you good luck, happy growing and positive 🤙🏻

Oh, and just curious, you paid $15K to that Dr in NY for prp/Acell snake oil injections...or did you mean $1,500?

Looks really good bro! Consider this too....your left side also has the natural light from the window shining on it too which should make it look much worse but it isn’t!

I wouldnt worry about having a few doubles in the hairline one bit. Hair transplantation is not about creating perfection, but rather improving your overall appearance (at least this is my idea). And in your case that is exactly what it did! 👍🏻

    Good points ☝🏻

I watched the video. It seems like the solution everyone has been waiting for, but what I didn’t quite clearly understand is if they actually successfully developed the means of cloning the hair follicle yet. It seems like they’re just extracting 50 follicles, and storing them in their bank until they successfully clone them?

It would be interesting to hear from some of the doctors noted in the video that are recommended on this website.

They aren’t cloning any grafts at this point , that’s just their claim of doing so in the future if the technology becomes a realty, but , want funding and investment now as well as customer interest in banking their grafts cryogenically...at a pricey cost I bet.

Yeah, would be great to get some details and info from the recommended doctors on here that are partnering with this firm.

I wouldn’t consider Artas at this point either, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

I do think it is possible, however, that robotic technology will continue to improve and may eventually be better than the human hand. Consider tasks like making incisions. Robots should be able to control angle, depth, and spacing better than people. I’m not saying it’s there yet, but I do think someday it could be.

I wonder which will happen first, robotic technology improves to rival the top doctors, or the development and commercialization of hair cloning/duplication technology?

I wouldn’t go with ARTAS either nor recommend it, not even the “new” 2.0 version.

It has many hurdles to clear and probably another decade or more of refinement before it can compare to the skill and artistry of a human professional experienced surgeon, if that.

I’m wagering that safe scalp to different scalp transfer of grafts is more of a reality in the near future than cloning or great robotic results.
