Hello. I’ve been following the forums for over a year, so thank you for this excellent resource. Lots of knowledgeable individuals here and well documented HT results.

30 years old with very deep frontotemporal recession. I was looking for a doctor who could handle this transition region well and also match it with my existing frontal hairline/density. After tracking results on here and on youtube for quite some time, I felt Dr. Sethi was the person to do this. I ended up speaking with Ajit over the phone (impressive results on youtube) and booking my package back in January. Finally in September it was possible to get a visa and fly out to Eugenix. Dr. Sethi, having handled so many cases, comes off very experienced and at ease. I put my full trust in him. He was confident in designing the right hairline shape for my scalp and that the density would look similar to the surrounding hair. The procedure ended up being exactly 1,000 grafts.

Here are some pictures pre and post op. I also added close-ups of the area after a hair wash on day 8.

Wow man, this looks amazing. Great work from Eugenix. Looks like another slam dunk.

I have a pretty similar hairline to you and I'm going to Eugenix next month. Do you have more recent pics?

Thank you so much for the detailed message. Yes my objective is as much more density in the frontal and midscalp areas, and with almost all that I quoted with are confirming I still can get 2000 grafts from back of my head and hoping a good amount from my beard that together will give me good density in these areas. I’m so thankful to this great forum that I got to know of these options who do BHT: Euginex, Pekiner, the Belgian doctors, Taleb in Amman and I’m already in contacts with them, and yes I will travel. And yes HLC is out already as they didn’t show interest in working with me. However I was told that to go with Euginex and have the operation with Dr Arika will cost a lot more than the other options, I will also put in consideration who has availability as they seem to be booked for months.

I'm going with a higher package at Eugenix myself but during my consultation with Dr. Arika, she was very clear that even if I got the lowest package, my result should be no different and I would get the same level of support throughout the process. She mentioned that they have full trust with all their doctors and staff and will stand by their work no matter which package it is. So if you're thinking of going to a cheaper doctor because of the price, maybe one thing you should consider is one of the lower packages with Eugenix. Good luck!

    @pomloeyes I will sure contact them !

so far I heard great things about them and HLC, and Pekiner !

do you have a good contact info for Euginex?

You can call or send them a WhatsApp message at +91-8826473333

They are very responsive. After you contact them and they gather relevant information, they will assign you to a specialist who will help you through the rest of steps.

I’ve just got off from a video call with Dr Pradeep and Dr Arika. It looks like I may now be going there for my surgery in mid December this year!!!😊

Awesome news @Gatsby!!! Excited that you're finally going to Eugenix! I'm heading there myself in December. I'll be in Delhi December 21 to 31 but my surgery is on the 27th. Maybe we'll see meet each other if you're still in India by the time I arrive.

Thanks man,i guess super premium package is out of my budget but i am glad you will have both of them working on your surgery and sure you would get an amazing result.

@Fight-hair-loss you should contact them if you want an in-between package. They might be able to customize one for you. Which doctor are leaning towards most right now?

  6. @MazAB thank you for not not only sharing your journey but also your health regimen. Damn I can't believe you're almost 50! You look so good man! I would've said mid-30s! I'd be happy if I looked half as good as you when I'm your age.

Your HT looks really good. The revised hairline is perfect and I'm glad Eugenix helped you to get the best possible result.

Looking forward for your future updates! I know this one will be a slam dunk.

It makes more sense that the stamps are enough. Presumably the High Commission validate the letter by placing a call to Eugenix, so if they’re doing their due diligence, a signature should be redundant anyway. That probably means that the UK HCI aren’t bothering with that level of diligence so more requirement for a signature.

On that note, my passport arrived at 8.30am this morning (20 minutes ago!). I’m all set for India AND my holiday this weekend. Phew!

@Berba11 congrats! Glad it all worked out for you and you're able to not only go to India but also make it to your anniversary trip to Paris! Thanks for providing a comprehensive account of how you got your visa figured out.

BTW @Kariminho and everyone who is trying to get their visas to India. India just recently started issuing Tourists Visas again and the Tourist Visa is free of charge until March 2022. You might want to see if you can apply for a Tourist visa instead since there are less requirements, usually just your passport and the 2x2 photos are needed. I believe the medical visa is either $80 or $100 depending on your nationality.

I was able to apply for an eTourist Visa free of charge and the visa was approved in less than 24 hours. The eVisas (both eTourist or eMedical) are not available for Brits and Canadians, unfortunately, but should be available for Americans, Europeans, and most other nationalities. But either way, eVisa or the traditional visa, tourist visas should be free of charge right now.

Hi .. My procedure is on the 21st and I'm staying for 2 weeks, there's a possibility we'll cross paths. I'll be spending Xmas and New years in Delhi. Should be interesting being my first time out of the U.S.

I'm very curious if there's any subsequent advantage with the different packages ? I personally choose the 2nd one, which they say is the most popular.

@Ronnie yeah we'll definitely overlap if you're staying for 2 weeks. I arrive in Delhi on the 21st and will be leaving on the 31st. Let's PM, would be great to meet in person at the clinic. Maybe @Kariminho will end up going around the same time too.

I would have chosen Pinto over Eugenix for hairline and probably Eugenix for a higher norwood where a lot of beard work was also needed, atleast that's what my research tells me,but the holiday season does makes sense if you wish to get it done now.

May i ask which package did you opt for at Eugenix?

I got a package that they don't normally offer. Higher than the super premium package but it means that I get both Dr. Pradeep and Dr. Arika working on my surgery. We can PM if you want more details about that. Dr. Pinto has amazing hairline work but I'm of asian descent so I thought a lot of Eugenix's results are closer to my hair type so I felt comfortable picking them.

  10. Hi @dust78. Thanks for sharing your story here. I just read the entire thread and I'm really sorry for your experience.

Are you considering doing a repair with another surgeon? I don't know a lot about over harvesting and what can be dome to fix but seems like there are a lot of other doctors that might be able to use your beard and / or body hair to improve density on you head.

Thanks again for sharing our journey. I almost booked with ASMED a few weeks ago and then I remembered this forum and when I checked, I saw that ASMED isn't a recommended clinic anymore. If not for you sharing your story, there might be more of us going to ASMED and getting the same result.

Thank you for these informations now I can exclude freitas and Vila and think between those Pinto pekiner Eugenix and Bicer. As you know pekiner Pinto and Eugenix with premium package are in range of 2.5 /2.7 euro how you can rank them  as  the first best then the second best.... etc. and how you compare between Eugenix with exclusive package and Bicer as both in the range of 1.5 /1.6 euro. And do you think bicer are in the same quality level as the three above so one can book with her and save may be half the money. Finally which package you choosed with Eugenix.

Hey @Fego. I won't be able to rank them for you since I have not gone to either yet. From my research, both Dr. Pinto and Eugenix are great options. They both have fantastic results and are both recommended by this board. To me it came down to availability. I wanted to do my HT over the Christmas holidays so I ended up picking Eugenix since they can do it at that time. Otherwise, I would've gone to Dr. Pinto since it's a closer flight to me than India.

  12. Hi @jay80 I'm also doing a hairline HT, I have a pretty similar hairline with you.

The doctor that I originally wanted to work with was Dr. Bisanga but he's full until Feb or March next year so I decided to look at other options. Another doctor that I really wanted to go to is Dr. Pinto in Portugal. He does great hairline designs from what I saw in my research. You should do a consultation with them. I was just chatting with their awesome patient coordinator Emilio this morning and he said that they might have openings / cancellation in November, December, and January (otherwise they are mostly fully booked for most of 2022 from what I heard).

I ended up deciding to go to Eugenix after seeing all their results (plus they were able to squeeze me in during the Christmas holidays). I love all their hairline work and I think they will do an awesome job on yours if you decide to go to them.

It’s a good question and one I haven’t decided on as of yet, but as of now I think I’ll stay for the week as I’ll have the time so may as well!  It’s subject to change though depending on what the clinic advise nearer the time.

Sorry you had to move your procedure, I hope you get your visa to India soon. Maybe we'll end up in India around the same time then!

What  other options we have regardless of Eugenix. The people here recommend Pinto ferriera Vila Freitas HLC pekiner and Bicer for tight budget.  What do you think from your search

Pinto is a good option too and about the same price as the premium package at Eugenix. I had been chatting pretty recently with their awesome patient coordinator Emilio and they might have some openings / cancellations in November, December, or early January. You should consult with them soon though since those slots get filled quickly. I really wanted to go to Pinto but the dates doesn't line up with my availability so I decided to go to Eugenix instead.

I think either way, whether you go to Eugenix (even the lower packages), Pinto or some other doctors you have mentioned, these are all great options. Just heads up, depending on when you want to get your HT done, a lot of the doctors you mentioned have long wait times. Vila and Freitas are pretty much fully booked until 2023, HLC and Bicer are fully booked until March 2022.

@raik783 Good to hear from you and thank you for your kind words, I wish you all the best with your procedure too!  If your dates match mine, would be great to also see you out there!

I’m scheduled in for first week December but as I am desperate to get out of the gloomy London weather, I think I’ll head out mid-end November to catch some sun and heat and see a bit of Delhi.

In terms of grafts, Dr Arika wanted to get pictures of my hair when it was a bit longer in order to properly assess how many grafts to perform, as I used to just shave my head every week, therefore, as it’s been a week since I last shaved my head, Dr Arika has said I will need anywhere between 3000-3500 grafts.

The focus will be on the crown mainly: (approximately 2500 grafts) with an additional 1000 grafts to restore density in the mid scalp region.

ah you're going much earlier than I am. My procedure is planned for December 27 so I will be spending the week of Christmas in Delhi. How long are you planning to stay in India post op? I was originally planning to stay 7 days post op so I could go to Eugenix for my first hair wash but that does not seem necessary so I'm leaving 3 days post op.

I think it's a great idea that you picked the Super Premium package. Eugenix's donor management seems to be really good so you're in great hands with them.

  16. 6 minutes ago, Fight-hair-loss said:

I was about to go to Eugenix for the same and then i saw this post and stopped, the point is that the slits are made by Dr Arika in this package and technicians just have to implant the grafts into the already made slits, and the left side really doesn't look like clean to me and scared now to pay so much and still not get a good result

@Fight-hair-loss have you had a video consultation with Dr. Arika yet? Might be good to get one so you can discuss your concerns with them. It might be that @xpressabhijust needed a few more days for it to look more normal.

@Fegoalmost all the results that I see from Eugenix, even the lowest package, has been good (although who knows, maybe there are some botched job that we never see). I'm sure that if there are any issues, Dr. Arika and Dr. Pradeep will do all they can to fix it. You might also want to chat with @MazAB, I think he got a customized package in between the Exclusive and Premium. Maybe that price point might be doable for you?

  17. Thank you @digi23 and @kirkland. This is very helpful.

I was originally planning to stay +7 days post op so that Eugenix can do the head wash for me. After hearing from both of you, I decided to book my flight back 3 days post-op, just in time to celebrate New Years at home (although just staying at home and hiding from people). You both are right, I will probably be a lot more comfortable at home rather than a hotel. Really hoping no face shields on the flight home though!

I landed in Delhi on 5th Oct 15:30, surgery on 6th Oct finished by 21:30

7th Oct 9am morning had a wound cleanup, off to airport at 10am

7th evening  I was at home

My wife helped me with 1st hair wash.. it isn’t difficult.. just get feel of how much pressure needs to be applied by the team we did it carefully so it took about 30mins or a little more

Wow you were in and out of there quick. I'm planning to leave 3 days post op and was thinking that might be too short. Now I feel better knowing that you didn't stay that long over there.

Thanks for the insight man! You're really looking pretty awesome. Happy growing!
