Apparently NO, Nitric oxide (not N2O which is laughing gas), has potential beneficial effects on wound healing, reducing inflammation and can help in the formation of new capillaries. Useful! How do you alter the NO pathway in the body? Simple! You pop a Viagra! Taking these simple food supplements prior to and immediately after a transplant is more reasonable than popping Viagras and science says they may be beneficial.
