If a hair follows an 'S' pattern below the skin then this would make transection highly likely with FUE. From 1:00 in the following videos illustrates why such a problem would occur. The surgeon/extractor has to assume that the hair continues straight as he/she cannot see below the skin.

Shanson are you happy with your results so far from January? I think the last time you updated your thread was at 5 months and things seemed pretty good already to say the least!

Funny as it sounds there may be a benefit of taking something very similar to laughing gas. Apparently NO, Nitric oxide (not N2O which is laughing gas), has potential beneficial effects on wound healing, reducing inflammation and can help in the formation of new capillaries. Useful! How do you alter the NO pathway in the body? Simple! You pop a Viagra! Several studies have shown that the active ingredient in Viagra, sildenafil, has been beneficial in a number of wound related situations. On a serious note, perhaps taking an Arginine supplement might help as this also helps with NO. There is evidence that Omega-3 supplementation along with Arginine can help wound healing: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4217020/ Taking these simple food supplements prior to and immediately after a transplant is more reasonable than popping Viagras and science says they may be beneficial.

I'll be there in 3 weeks time so I really appreciate you keeping us informed. I've checked and I'm pretty sure I don't have any scars on my head that might cause a problem!
