  1. I'm not sure what wet shaving is. Probably closer than that 0mm. I shave right to the bone so I dont have to shave everyday. If I was to use a hair clipper I would probably need to do it every day. Hope that helps.
  2. It won't work to have it that long for most people. I wet shave and leave it 4 days before shaving again. I think you'd have to do it even more often if you used a clipper.
  3. Interesting i did not even know there were other types.
  4. I must have odd skin kr low pain threshhold. First session especially i found really painful. Second i was a little more relaxed but still long way from falling asleep!
  5. These are incredible. I actually have a friend in nj looking to this ill shos him your threads.
  6. Where are you based Texansoldier? Ian Dennis did mine in Houston, i researched this alot and his name kept coming up. Ill send you some photos if you message me, I'm very happy. Not sure what tripignentation is, did you mean scalp Micropigmentation?
  7. You're overthinking slightly but youre entitled to as its on your head and youve paid alot of $$$. But youre not helping yourself by holding the camera that close (nobody is getting that close to your head). It looks ok, I'm not a technician but id say you need more density to hide those dark dots? What worries me is that he has actually lasered off his own work!? Even though you cant go to new york etc, it will do you no harm to ask for the opinion of other companies.
  8. If you want work that is similar to the best treatments you've seen online then you need to actually go to them. A good treatment is 99% about who the technician is.
  9. I went for a consultation at bravi. If you want to stay in Austin then they are the only option I found. There are better provders in my opinion though, depends how far you want to travel.
  10. I gather that they usually only have one tech at each location. When I went to book my first session in Houston his hair I had to wait as the tech there was working in Chicago at the time. But this was a while back now. Did you call their office and ask?
  11. You're asking pretty advanced stuff. Go for a consultation with a few clinics and ask. I went to see 4 different clinics before making my decision.
  12. There aren't any. You'll probably need to goto Houston.
  13. agreed, if i had to pick between the three i posted above then it would be with him.
  14. You're spoilt for choice bro. NYC has Greg at Skalp, Matt at Scalp Micro US and Jonathan Gerow. Hard to say who is the most talented but those are the best in New York from what I've seen.
  15. Thats an interesting idea. I havent heard of anybody doing that before but it makes perfect sense.
  16. Incredible treatment. Mmac6804 could you post updated photos now it has had time to settle down?
  17. Totally right on about not letting distance be a factor. Though you're lucky been in california. You have David Hoffer, Zang @ hishair, Jae Pak. Good look ink also just opened an office in LA. All are really good from what I have seen. I'm happy with my own procedure. Austin, Houston, infact Texas in general is very limited as far as clinics but I made the right choice through not rushing into my decision and doing as much research as I felt was needed. Like hairingiscaring said goto someone with a strong and solid reputation online. See good yelps reviews or facebook reviews? Check out the profiles of the people posting and see if they are real people.
  18. I concur. Where do you live bro? The problem with smp becoming so popular over the last year or two is that now the number of bad providers out number the good and great ones significantly. I spent 3 months of my free time researching and there is a lot to get through. Check out scalp guru (but read with an open mind as there has been some controversy about it) then go see as many providers as possible. Dont be afraid to bombard them with questions. An experienced tech has heard every question before. Avoid makeup artists offering the procedure. I wanted a specialist on my scalp as I am sure you do. What use is 2 years experience if they only do 5 treatments a month??
  19. His Hairline looks great. Nice and dense at the same time too. Wish I lived in ny.
  20. I'm looking into them too. I live in Austin but I had a consultation with 2 places in Houston. I am still undecided whether or not I should even have it done so I'm sticking with lots of research at this time.
