  1. Have to agree with the other posters here. I would not Fall for such blatent sales talk. Go with a surgeon that is recommended ! There is no Rush. Slow it down. Get some in person consultations done. Or by video if in another country. Are you sure you want a scar at your age? No doubt you Will want to have your hair short. I would be looking for fue if I was in your shoes. Its possible some Surgeons may not recommend surgery yet because Of your age.
  2. Just wow ! This is going to be a fantastic result !!
  3. Also your husband should perhaps decide if he wants to Go down the fut route or fue !? Both have there place depending On individuals needs.
  4. Basically I'm saying do not go through with it and do not hand them a single penny! These people are scammers for sure. Do your research on this very informative website before even thinking Of deciding which surgeon to choose.
  5. I wouldn't go through with it. Use the money for a known and recommended Surgeon. There are horror stories with good reason! Travel to Turkey or India and use the money more wisely. Never ever risk a unknown! Especially from a shady company!
  6. Hi, You could search for Longevita. I have used them last year for FUE and will be again this year :-) Their are 2 surgeons they use - the more expensive one is who i would personally recommend.
  7. Are you aiming for multiple HTs to get a reasonable density? I agree with previous feedback it does seem quite spaced out in places. Where did you get it done?
  8. Please pm if you want/need to talk. I have Bi-Polar and can help you understand it and how it impacts on your life.
  9. I had a crown looking quite similar to yours. I had 1500 grafts put in and that has made a difference but obviously not back to original density. I cant see just under 500 grafts making much of a improvement to be honest.
  10. I would agree with splitting hairs. The above mentioned surgeon's Are who I'm also considering for my 4th ht.
  11. Personally I would follow Denny's excellent advice, those are well proven Surgeons Which is better than taking a chance with a unknown when there's No need too.
  12. Yep your norwood zero ! Make the most of it
  13. I would also recommend travelling to turkey. If your open to Motorised fue you could do greater numbers of fue and perhaps Not need second pass. I had 2 surgery's in UK and then fue in turkey.
  14. Yes perfectly normal for that amount of hairs to shed
  15. Amazing to get that sort of result for a conservative amount of grafts.
  16. Thank you for such a thought provoking post. I'm glad I'm not the only person thinking about others perception good bad or indifferent ☺
  17. Hi 1600 grafts isn't going to be enough in my opinion to make a huge difference. Why wasn't a bigger strip taken? Did you also consider getting FUE done? In my experience keep going in to the same FUT scar for future HTs is most likely only going to leave with the risk of a stretched scar. I can see what has been done is growing though.
  18. Yes i found the same thing happened with my crown (1500 grafts) seemed to keep getting better right up to the 18 month mark.
  19. Hey abcd, Do you have contact details for Dr Maral please? can you pm me them if possible. I would be very grateful !
  20. Yes 12 months was recommended to me also from various surgeons.
  21. This is all perfectly normal. Most people are not early growers. 6 months is where you really start to notice proper growth.
