  1. You're welcome guys. Btw this bad experience was actually my second operation not my first. I did one in the middle east before. The hair did grew in the first one but looked very artificial. While in the second operation (in Liverpool) nothing grew. Dr. Kumari was charging 4 pounds/graft so I paid for a 1000 grafts. I didn't get any money back because I did sign a consent before the operation and it clearly said no guarantee. I would still like to visit a lawyer actually, but not sure if I have any chance now after I've done the third operation in Turkey. I do have all the emails with the clinic and pics though
  2. Agree.. here are the pics. As you can see it's not only the same, the after ones are a bit worse because the hair loss continued.
  3. I should have posted this long time ago. I have now done another operation and it was successful (which I'm going to post it's results in a different post). the successful one was in Turkey at Maral clinic. The bad experience was at the skin and hair clinic in Liverpool (which was called "liver pool skin clinic" at that time. This was was more than a year and half ago. in brief I wasted 4,000 GBP, went through so much pain and all in vain. the pictures before and after are identical. If you want to hear the details here it is: I did a long search and I was stupid enough to pick the cheapest as I was limited in budget. Dropped the clinic a visit and met the female doctor their (called Dr. Kumari). She spoke in length about her experience and successful cases. I bough that and booked for my surgery. She refused to use card in payment or transfer money and said that in that case she would charge more, so I had to pay in cash. It only took 15 mins after the operations started to realize that she knows nothing, and the planter (who was a lady from Manchester) is actually doing the whole work and teaching her how to work on my head. I was so stressed because of the comments I was hearing at my back (like "no that's wrong", "you're cuts are too shallow the graft isn't fitting", "you should have used more of ...., there is so much blood now I can't see the cuts"..etc. To make a long story short, the planter finished and left, and the doctor was covering my donner area when I almost fainted and felt like I wanted to throw-out. Dr. Kumari was shaking and asking me what she should do for me, which made me shocked even more. Few months later, all the marks of the transplanted hair were gone, the hair was fed and nothing grew at all. I contacted the clinic and was so angry, asked to get my money back but her answer was sending me a copy of the consent I signed before the operation, and highlighting the line that says there is no guarantee from the clinic for the transplanted grafts to grow. The reason I'm writing this, is that I looked for feedback for that clinic at that time and found none. So don't want another victim to experience what I went through and pay money for that.
  4. Thanks a lot everyone for your comments.. The reason I thought I would go with him is the great results I've seen in this forum. Below are few examples: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/172287-my-progress-dr-maral.html http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/173220-dr-maral-turkey-3100-grafts.html Any many others.. I appreciate your advice.. I'll do a deeper search...
  5. Hi everyone, I’m a 32 male, started losing hair more than 10 years ago. I did two FUE operations with a 1000 grafts each. One was in middle east and it did cover the two front gulfs but it looked very artificial, then I did an operation here in UK where it was a complete failure! I paid 4000 GBP and I think less than 10% of the transplanted hair actually grew. The before and after picture looks identical unless you really look into few centimeters closely. Now, I’m planning to do a proper one where it covers my whole head (I’ll be posting pics later on) and I want it to be the last. All the doctors I sent to told me that I need 3000 to 4000 grafts and I’m planning to do FUE. Because I paid 4000 GBP last year I can’t now pay similar payment again, so budget is smaller now. I have done an extensive search and I have now three choices: - Adam & Havva: 3500 grafts would cost 3500 USD - Dr. Tugrul MARAL: 3000-4000 grafts cost 1800 Euro - Este-Trip Dr. Irfan Aydin + Dr. Mohammed: 3500-4000 grafts cost 2500 Euro. All the three prices are packages that includes hotels and transportations. All these three have shown me amazing before and after pics. Dr MARAL has the lowest price by far and he did show me very good work, and I also saw good pics on this forum. However, the fact that he doesn’t do the work himself is worrying me a bit, because he could have good and average/bad technicians.. if I don’t know the name I might be unlucky and get my operation done by someone less qualified than the one did in these good pics. I’m willing to pay any of these prices if the results are very likely to be good and natural. But I’m completely lost.. Can’t stop thinking and can’t really make my mind because all of them look good and I kind of lost trust after what happened with me in the last operation. Please help.. any input is appreciated.. any experience with one of those doctors or stories you know about cases done by them. Thanks in advance, Inspired
  6. Thanks everyone for your replies.. I did a deeper search.. I can't see much of Istanbul Hair Center work, still trying. But mean while I sent Dr. Erkan Demirsoy. Hope I get a good offer with him, his work is clearly great.
  7. Dear All, I'm planning to do an FUE operation in Turkey.. and I believe I need around 4000-5000 grafts to have a full coverage. My problem is that I'm tight in budget , most of the recommended doctors here charge 2-3 euros per graft. I contacted Istanbul Hair Center (Dr. Emine Sayki ), and they only charge less than 50% of these prices. Any recommendations? Suggestions ? anything is appreciated. Thanks, Inspired
  8. Hi Rumon, Have you done the operation with her in the end? I'm planning to do mine at her clinic and would like to hear your recommendations. Thanks.
