  1. Not sure why you don't mention the Dr.s name? You would be helping yourself and the forum if this Dr. Lied...
  2. Yeah, but can you have more than one graft per incision??
  3. So your husband actually SAT still while you counted the incisions TWICE? :-) Who was the Dr.? If he's recommended here and I would assumme you read results of other patients I wouldn't worry. Best thing to do is post a pic, blur out his face.
  4. Your husband is correct. 3000 Grafts do not = 3000 incisions. The Dr. should have given him a break down of the hairs per graft.
  5. Becareful with head and shoulders - it dries your scalp. I was told not to use it for a few months.
  6. Yes, I do have input. I think you're making a mistake getting a HT at your age if that is you in the picture. So neither Dr.
  7. It's good to see that the clinics are monitoring posts about them...;)
  8. To the OP, I learned that just like any other forum for the most part you're going to recommendations based on each persons own Dr. Keep that in mind when you read these forums.
  9. Agreed! As a NW VI I would think you're better off with FUT and only using FUE for the follow up procedure(s). You should post pictures and some of the guys here with more experience could give you some good feedback. I ended up emailing pictures to H&W & Rahal and doing an on-line consultation before deciding on 4000 grafts with FUT, but Rahal was only able to get 3700 and I believe it was my fault for not doing the scalp exercises. FUE was never an option for me, but might be some day. I don't think FUE is even going to be an option for you given the amount of grafts\mega session you need...my 2 cents.
  10. Agreed, I think you've done great research. I'm a Norwood V and went to Rahal. The exchange rate is great right now. I would start with sending pictures to those Dr's and getting some feeedback on whether you have enough donor for that high number of grafts. Also, DO scalp exercises...wish I would have and I would have been able to get more grafts.
  11. Have you done your research about getting a HT in your 20's and the risks?
  12. Ofcourse Bill is going to threaten to kick you out of HRN, you've questioned the credibility of this forum (rightfully so) and he's not doing anything, but defending Dr. D. This is a great forum with great info, but when a hack like Dr D is allowed to be recommended after all the negative reviews, then it's obvious the Mods care MORE about $$$ at the end of the day and not the members. Sorry, but that's how I feel.
  13. Also we need to keep this thread alive because I'm sure some would like t see this disappear
  14. So what you're saying is that since he got "busy" the quality of his work went down and Paleo suffered because of it? Why not refund him in FULL for his pain and suffering?
  15. I'm definitely going back for the crown next year - I knew that going in. I'm on Rogaine and contemplating Propecia. Looking forward to seeing your progress!
  16. I hope Paleo gets some visibility with this thread and help from one of the top 4 docs.
  17. Thanks! How was your experience with Rahal?
  18. I wonder how many potential customer he has lost because of all these negative posts?
  19. I've read through a lot of posts suggesting everything from EMU oil to witch hazel, to aloe to help with the redness. Is time the only real medicine?
  20. Just wondering, since when is it advised to "grow" your native hair to make the HT look better. I'm sorry, but It looks pluggy and unnatural....
