Be persistent with emails. Let him know you have made up your mind & are ready to schedule. Call his office, try different times of the day if you can't get through. Remember, this Dr is very sought after & gets thousands of emails that he reads all his self that's why it takes awhile to get a reply. In my opinion he is well worth the wait.

I took the 10% cash discount & was a little uneasy with 3 grand taped around each ankle, but once I turned it over to Dr. Nader for safe keeping (he figures your bill after all grafts have been placed) I felt quite at ease. Yes, I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Mcallen This place is very nice, weight room, swimming pool (if you need these) free washers & dryers free full breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage, the works. This is all included in the package HT price. Basically all you have to pay for is your airfare, they give you a free lunch of your choice at the clinic. In the morning I took some extra breakfast up to my room (had a fridge & microwave) for my supper later that evening. Dr Nader's trusted driver of 8 years is Santos, he picks you up in McAllen ,TX Holiday Inn,takes to Mexico for your procedure & brings you back to the hotel. If you go with Dr. Nader you won't be disappointed & definitely have a fatter wallet when you're done. Good luck with what ever you choose.

Sure will, I'm a little over 5 months. Will post some pics at 6. I'm very happy with the results & they continue to get better. Funny how I really realize the extent of my results the most when looking back at my before pictures.

Just curious, How do you go about getting a loan for a HT ? What type of loan would it be classified as ? I would think the loan would be disapproved ( since they can't reprocess your hair ) even if you have squeaky clean credit...Unless you just told them it was for something else. -
I've been approved for a Shapiro Medical Group FUT/FUE study!

Congratulation, you definitely hit the Hair Lotto. Just wondering who issued the grant..I'm assuming the Federal Government ? Is there a link to the info about this program ? Would really like to read about it. -
Well 3 months & my new hair is really coming in. I am very happy so far & surely believe I will get the results I was wanting.
-
..Agreed, I'm less than 2 months post op 3800 plus grafts with Dr Nader. My hair is already coming in & I already know this Ht is going to be a home run. The whole surgery cost me $5400 ( which broke down to $1.41 a grafts for FUE ) that included food & lodging ( Holiday Inn 3 nights) transportation to and from the airport and office and all medications. As mentioned earlier in this this thread : " I still can't believe how dumb people are when it comes to HT. Going to Mexico to have some cut your scalp open - yeah sounds like a good idea! I wouldn't go to Mexico to take an advil." Absolutely people talking out of school without a clue, especially with his amazing skills & results documented . Dr. Nader is a first class Ht surgeon an I believe his work is as good or better than most of the Coalition.

Pretty much proves my point, Bruce bald as a queball (not mention up in age) & babes are still lining up to give him a wet carrot.

Agreed, A full head of hair alone, transplanted or not doesn't really make a man a babe magnet. But it can definitely give him the confidence to give it his best shot.

Just curious, what about his work did you find unimpressive or not "a good product" as you say ? -

Dr Luis Nader in Reynosa Mexico... Check him out, don't be surprised if you have a hard time getting in touch with him, since his overwelming Youtube fame & great prices. -
So many surgeons to choose from - how did 'you' decide?
MrMatt replied to Vpac's topic in Hair Transplant Reviews
I made my decision in this order: 1. Track record & results. 2. Distance ( other side of the world ) meaning 30 hour one way flights. 3. Price. Most say price should not be a factor...That's fine if you're "The Donald". Mostly just do your homework & go in educated. Good Luck! -
How much does a procedure like this cost ?
-
Well Spidey looks like you & I are the only ones that have suffered from this FUE post op symptom.. Lol Your input gives me a general idea when to expect this terrible side effect to end. Thanks!

I'm 20 days post op FUE procedure and the itching in the donor area is very persistent, mostly at night while sleeping. I've tried cortizone, triamcinione, but the only things that seems to help is aloe vera gel. Just wondering, to anyone who has had this procedure, in your individual case: How intense was the itching in your scalp area ? How long did it last ? What did you use that worked the best to relieve the itching ? Thanks

I believe this is silly, but vitamins are a lot cheaper than Dr Hasson.

Why don't you block the IP address? At least he won't be able to enter this site from that location.

Wearing Bicycle Helmet 2 weeks post op?
MrMatt replied to specialzd1's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
@ DrJosephitis I figure I may have lost 2 or 3 grafts from the bump on the overhead compartment. What is your opinion of the effect it may have on the surrounding grafts ? -
Wearing Bicycle Helmet 2 weeks post op?
MrMatt replied to specialzd1's topic in Hair Restoration Questions and Answers
Funny you should mention this, I'm 12 days post op & was thinking of wearing a bicycle helmet or hardhat to protect my grafts (while working). Since I have bumped my head at least 5 times (in the recipient area ) worst being the flight back hitting my crown area on the overhead compartment. Halfway home i noticed blood seeping through my hat. Once home I found about 4 hairs & some flesh inside my hat.I'm sure this was no help to my procedure but then again I don't believe it will have a major negative impact on my results . What's strange is I'm not a clumsy person, may hit my head one time in the last year. In conclusion I would see more good than harm wearing a helmet of some type as long as it is suspended over the recipient area as most are to give the cushion effect. -
Try calling his office add 011521 before the area code & number. Talk with Brenda, she speaks very good English. It's hard to get through but keep trying. After my extensive research of his great results & prices I was willing to wait as long as it took to schedule with him. It took me 2 & 1/2 months to get an email from Dr Nader but once I did we were in contact until my scheduled procedure . He does one procedure a day up to 5 days a week, less holidays doesn't make nearly enough openings for his overwhelming number of potential patients that are growing every day. Check out this video: I highly recommend Dr Nader & Good Luck
