  1. busa Thanks again for all your HT wisdom; but you better get back to cooking those burgers before you get fired.
  2. Yet again nothing but an opinion (and not a good one at that) with nothing to back it up. Get someone to read my last post to you and then maybe you will get my point.
  3. Constant narrow minded negativity has no place on this forum and doesn't benefit anyone. Those who continue to display this kind of attitude should be wished into the cornfield along side Keyser Soze .
  4. Busa Sunfire's results look very good and the price is great. The only negative response to Dr Alessandria's work ( the whole internet) I can find so far is manuelphx's situation that he thought he didn't get the amount of grafts he paid for & never updated what happen or commented on his results (good or bad) Renovate Medical Center has been around since 1986. If they were constantly churning out bad HT surgeries I'm sure it would be all over the internet. Do you have any links to back up your statements ? If Surgeons in Mexico in general are doing bad procedures I can't find anyone discussing them. I believe everyone here knows who the true ignoramus is here and it's not me.
  5. Lakelife, Where do you buy your finasteride & how did you arrive at that dosage ?
  6. Hey David, Since you're giving undesirables the ax... how about biglov11 advertising running shoes & posting in French. Lol
  7. manuelphx; How about an update ? I'd really like to know how your situation is turning out.
  8. I enjoyed your video, looking forward to more. I've read about the very low HT prices in Turkey. After all the expenses, airfare, lodging, time off of work, etc. do you really save enough money to justify all the extra effort of making such a long trip ? BTW I noticed all the people you talked with spoke English. Was that luck or is English that fluent there ?
  9. Would like opinions on the best US HT Surgeons with the lowest cost per graft procedures any technique.
  10. @ HairyPotter79 Dr. Luis Nader was my first choice since all the info I found on him was very positive.I elected to go with the FUT procedure because I already have the scar from a previous FUT surgery & it's lower in cost. It took a few weeks to get a reply which was on 4-5-15 he said now he is now only doing FUE which is not an option for me since I want to keep this surgery unknown & a shaved head will definitely spill the beans. I asked him if he would reconsider doing a FUT procedure & never received a reply. Dr. Nader seems to be a dedicated HT doctor & I'm sure your will be very satisfied with his work.
  11. busa Thank you very much for your ignorant, uneducated & unasked for opinion.
  12. manuelphx, Really sorry to hear you got short changed on your grafts. Did you confront them about it ? What did they say ? 1500 is quite a few grafts & should have gave good coverage of the hairline & a ways back, looking at HT photos of similar amounts of grafts should give you a good idea whether you got what you paid for. At 3 1/2 months are you seeing any results ? At that point of my procedure my grafts had grown in at about an inch, but everyone progresses at a different pace . As for me unforeseen things came up to put my HT on hold for the moment. All of the few reviews & photos I 've seen of Dr Alessandrini's work is FUT..Maybe FUE isn't his long suit, but you still should have received the 1500 grafts! Please let me known how it comes out & what they are willing to do to satisfy your concerns ( the guarantee) maybe some photos? Thanks!
  13. I believe your H/T will be a success as any procedure done correctly. I have had 1700 FUT grafts done for $6850 5-2013 with Dr. Limmer in San Antonio TX .I was very happy with the results but not the price.I have been evaluated to need around 3000 more grafts and can get it done in Tijuana for $3000. I'm going to Mexico for the same reasons as you...to get my hair back and not break the bank.I have done extensive research on hair transplants in Mexico and believe a person can get a very good H/T and have a safe trip at a fraction of US prices. I am definitely having this done & will let you an everyone know the out come.
  14. manuelphx Thanks for the detailed review of your procedure. Did you consult with any other doctors in Mexico And what made you decide on Dr Alessandrini ? So far I have spoken with or emailed: Dr manuel gutierrez romero FUT 3000 grafts $3800 Dr Ana Gabriela Hernandez Amayo No Reply Dr Luis Nader Very slow reply by email (no longer performing FUT) 3000 FUE grafts $5553 hotel included. Dr Alessandrini Renovate medical center FUT 2800- 3000 grafts $3000 I'm considered a Norwood 3v also.I've been on the fence (choosing a doctor) but after seeing Sunfire's results and reading your favorable review I may just roll the dice with Dr Alessandrini.
  15. @ manuelphx I have gotten a quote from and considering Dr Alessandrini. Could you tell us more details about your procedure? Number of grafts, transportation, accommodations, length of stay and surgery. Hopefully some photos...Thanks!
  16. @ Coupeit88 What is the Dr's name from the H/T link that was removed? I most likely have corresponded or spoken with him. I have done extensive research on hair transplants in Mexico. I plan on getting 3000 FUT grafts next month (May) at a fraction of US prices. The Doctors I'm considering are board certified in Mexico.I can't find any info on how that stacks-up to US board certificates but I sure you would be in capable hands. I find it hard to believe these members making negative comments on hair transplant Doctors and clinics in Mexico without a stitch of proof to back it up..Any links ? I would like to see them so I can make an educated decision. There are also several favorable Mexico H/T reviews in this forum. I believe a person can get a very good hair transplant at very reasonable price and have a safe trip in Mexico if you do "your homework" and I plan to prove or disprove it in at least the avenue and Dr. I take.
  17. @ pinkfloyd30 Been awhile but I'll take a shot. How did this turn out ? I am very interested in the out come of any hair transplant surgery done by Dr Alessandrini at the Renovate Medical Center since there are very few documented online.
  18. Your result pictures look great. Yours is about the only positive hair transplant surgery review I can find on Dr. Alessandrini or Renovate Medical ( there are hardly any)....How about an up date?
  19. Anyone used this Dr for hair transplant surgery ? I search the forum and there is no mention of him. His website & credentials seem very impressive: renowned plastic surgeon with over 16 years experience,is board certified Doctor of Plastic Surgery and a member of the Mexican Association Mexican Plastic Surgery. He is currently the Secretary General of the College of Surgeons of Baja California (CCPERBC). I spoke with him on the phone and he was very knowledgeable and professional.I found some favorable reviews on RealSelf, but all were other cosmetic procedures not hair transplants. I have had 1700 FUT grafts at a cost of $6850 and have been evaluated to need about 3000 more. After doing a great amount of research and reading actual reviews (not the put-ups we've all read) I believe a person can get a very good hair transplant in Mexico at a fraction of the cost compared to the US, if you do your homework.
  20. I had 1700 FUT grafts 5/2013 at a cost of $6840 using Dr Limmer in San Antonio. The reason, they were well recommended and FUT is all they do. The first day the scar was barely visible covered by an inch of hair ( looking at it though mirrors) There was a little swelling in my temple areas day 2 & 3 . About 10 days all the scabs fell off and were healed. I removed the stitches from the donor area myself. After about 2 weeks graft hairs fell out. At about 5 weeks the new hair started coming in. Had a few pimples in the grafts area off & on for a few months, The donor scar was sore for about 2 months (not bad) and numb for about 6. No shock loss at all. Full results seen at 12- 16 months. My work allows me to wear a hat, but I'd say at the 10 day mark ( once the scabs fell off) my procedure was almost undetectable.I never told anyone and no one gave me strange looks, so I believe your secret will be safe. I need about 3000 more grafts & have been doing extensive research on Mexico and very happy on the information & real reviews I've found so far. I have narrowed it down to 3 or 4 places. I plan on using FUT again for these reasons: I already have the scar I'll never wear my hair short enough to see the scar, Larger amount of graft survival More economical, price wise I haven't had my head shaved since 1966 & don't really want to start now. Hope this helps
