  1. I got my HT in Tijuana. I went in knowing the risks and knowing that for the cheaper price I would be risking a bad outcome. I've had a good luck streak and went for it but came out of this not as pleased as I hoped. I'm not stressed over it and I plan to go to Shapiro next year to add more density to the hairline. I can already tell it's going to be thinner then desired. I don't know how this FUT scar is going to turn out but it's not going to be as thin as I would hope. There's a lot of shockloss under it which was more noticeable when my hair was longer. I hope that regrows later on. I won't address the scar for many years provided my grown hair covers it good. Eventually I'll see about an FUE into it or a diff. option. I checked out your pictures. AMAZING! I could barely even tell there was a scar there and the only reason I could is because I was looking for it. Congrats!
  2. Hi, I have attached 3 pictures of my donor area. I am 2 months post-op. It still looks pretty mean. It's red and wide. I just wanted to post this to see if anything looks out of norm for being 2 months post-op.
  3. Is Rogaine better than the other brands of Minoxidil or would a cheaper-costing brand such as Kirkland give you the same results?
  4. I have a lot of scabbing across my donor area. I'm 6 weeks post HT. A couple of the scabs are pretty big. Is this normal or even okay? I'm hoping there's not hair stuck in there at all.
  5. Hi, I am 1 month post-op and noticed my tranplanted hairs are coming out with the slightest little pull. If I give the slightest little pull a few will come right out. Just making sure this is normal. My research does tell me I am right in the timeframe for shedding but just making sure it's okay for them to pull out that easy. Thanks guys!
  6. Hi! I got a hair transplant 3 weeks ago. When I feel along my donor incision it's really bumpy pretty much 60% of it is bumpy. The sutures are dissolvable. Is this normal? Will these bumps go down over time and produce a flat and normal scar? The ends of the stiches are hanging out a little bit as well on each side.
  7. Hi. Thanks for all the replys. I guess at this point my hopes are that it will look okay. I know it won't have the density I had in mind and won't look similar to the rest of my hair. I just hope it doesn't look ridiculous. The one question I do have is this, how soon could I go for a second hair transplant to make this more dense? Can I go right away or do I need to wait over a year for this one to get all settled in? I will definitely use this site and find a doctor who is reccomended and has proven great work.
  8. This is the best picture I could take of the donor area by myself. The hair is really limiting the visibility of it.
  9. Thanks for the replys. Does this look like a pretty bad job by the doctor? For the price I paid I can't expect the world. I just hope it doesn't end up looking worse then before I got the HT.
  10. Thanks for your reply. I will send an email to the doctor and try and get an estimate. I am attaching more pictures here. Do you think it will look unnatural thin compared to the thick hair elsewhere on my head?
  11. I am not sure of the exact amount of grafts. My doctor was Dr. Carlos Alessandrini from the Renovate Medical Center in Tijuana. I read grafts have apprx. 1-3 hairs coming out of them. I seem to only have one hair coming out of each.
  12. Hi, This picture shows my first hair transplant. I am on day 7. Does this look like it will be thick or thin?
  13. Hello! I had a FUT hair transplant last Thursday. I am wondering what I could do to help things go along smoothly with the donor area. I bought some Bacitracin. Is this okay to put on it? If so, how long should I use it? The area has the dissolvable stitches. Also, when feeling along the stich line, I feel a lot of bumps. It doesn't feel smooth. The area isn't shaved too well. Do you know what these bumps could be? Also, would it be wise to buy some form of product used to help lighten the appearance of scars? I have seen a few of these products at WalMart.
