  1. Thank you again. I will be waiting with tension over this period
  2. Thanks, That was a very detailed reply. How long does this “telegen” phase last. This is how my hairline looks at the moment : only the front peak of the hairline was done and that is what has “thinned”. how long do I have to wait for it to go back to “normal” and will it thicken up again?
  3. Will going back on the meds thicken up my hair before or do I need to have another transplant as I see no other solution to this?
  4. So this is exactly what is happening to me at the moment, the hairline I had transplanted is now thinning (after four years). I have been told this might have something to do with seasonal 'shedding' but im not so sure - does that even exist? My question to you now is this...do I go for another transplant or get back on the meds and see if they help? Or will PRP help? Thanks
  5. That makes sense, but I assumed all the hair he took would be from the safe zone. Should I go back and have the grafts replaced? Im back in Fin now but thats only been a week...
  6. I thought I didn’t need it anymore and (to be fair) I was under the impression the transplanted hair would be permanent. Would it make a difference if I started it now? Would prp help? Or do I need surgery again?
  7. Hi guys, So I’ve recently noticed that my hair has been thinning in my hair line area for which I had FUE surgery for back in 2017. The surgery was fine and I loved the results so I am rather confused (and frankly annoyed) that I am thinning again. I was under the impression that this was “permanent “ hair that would never fall out. I stopped using finistride after the surgery and I also blow dry my hair (almost everyday) but trying to keep it healthy. Do I need more surgery and will the same thing happen? Or can I leave it and hope it returns (as this is donor region hair which is meant to be permanent? I appreciate your response
  8. Yep, Pretty much so. They cannot compare to Turkish surgeons imho in terms of density and covering the temple regions. In particular Doctors Reddy and Farjo who’s results are consistently minimal and unimpressive. Seriously if you want a result that will completely satisfy avoid the U.K. in particular these two Doctors. And they charge per hair, not per graft. Rip off too
  9. Thats some of the best work I have seen on this forum, by 6 ,months you'll have a solid idea how its heading...
  10. The hairline looks too straight. I think its best to take pics in natural sunlight. Regardless its less than 6 months
  11. Bro your hairline is not subtle at all. It looks really obvious you've had work done (which is not the goal). Maybe its the angle or lighting but you've achieved the density yet fallen short on the "natural look". Can you post more pics
  12. I went to Dr Erdogon (Asmed). The results are unreal. The main thing is he densely packs the grafts So there are no gaps between the hair strands so no light get through. It doesn’t look suspicious.
  13. I’d completely avoid Dr Reddy unless you wish to have grafts set wide apart and with an “aged” or “mature” hairline. I was deeply unsatisfied with his work and. ended up going Turkey to have it corrected (and done to a standard I was content with). Also I had to wait around two years In the hope his hairline would improve yet it never did. Waste of time and money. I also believed that having the convenience of being in the U.K. was paramount but it’s the actual work (and results) that mattered. Avoid.
  14. There is ONLY one option in my opinion. Erdogan. Any one else is second best, and do you really want that for your hair?
  15. I used baby shampoo which is probably advised by most guys here. Get the big bottle..once you finish it you should be able to switch to your normal shampoo. I shampooed twice a day to speed up the process.
  16. It was my first experience with FUE and I wanted to do it with someone who was close to where I live (London) so that if I had any issues I could easily go back and talk to him (rather than do everything online or on Skype). The reason for not going lower on the hairline was that it wouldn't look "natural" as I aged. I went along with it thinking "he is the expert so he knows better than me". However, after a year I wasn't convinced with the look of my hairline and even went for a touch up (another 250 grafts) which I had to fight for but ultimately it made no difference to my hairline (still too high). So I looked elsewhere for someone who would give me what I wanted. I had my 2 surgery 6 weeks ago and got the hairline I wanted. Now Im waiting for the results (figures crossed!)
  17. Yeild is excellent. However wasn't happy with the hairline (wouldn't go lower or do the temple points) so had to go to another fue surgeon to address those issues.
  18. didn't know he was also based in Notts. I have had a HT with him in 2013. 1200 grafts.
  19. Hi, I have had first hand experience with two out of the three surgeons on your list. I would easily recommend Dr Koray Erdogan. If you need more info contact me.
