  1. Yes! and this has happened to me too. It is not discussed enough on this forum. Im going back to Turkey to have it thickened up but my fear is that it'll happen again after a few year and then what? Did you stop taking finistriade and minioidil after surgery ? I was told it might be the telegon phase of the hair (where it falls out and goes into resting mode) but that was months ago and not much improvement. Sucks man.
  2. Hey bro I have lost ground too, much like yourself, at around the 5 year mark (grafted hair now thinning and much more "see through"). Truth be told once I had had the transplant I completely stopped using Frinistride and Minox as I didn't see the point. Now I am going back to the surgeon to have the thinning area (front of hairline) bulked up again. Im going to try conserve my donor area as much as possible so will only go for 500 grafts max (as who knows when ill need it again). Anyways, as I'm a returning client Ive negotiated a 15% discount. This time Ill definitely keep using the fin and mino for maintenance.
  3. Obviously I have used him and it was because I was so unsatisfied by the results I had to go Asmed who was leagues superior.
  4. Reddy is fine if you are not concerned about either your hairline nor your density. However I wouldn't use him again
  5. You're first point of contact should be ASMED. Without doubt the most consistent results you'll find on this forum
  6. Id avoid him - had my first transplant with him and was thoroughly dissatisfied (esp considering he charges per hair rather than per graft) - go Turkey and save yourself a lot of worry
  7. He produces the most consistent results day after day. Because he pretty much always "densely packs" the transplanted region, you wont hear any of his clients complaining about "see through" regions. His hairlines are just so on point.
  8. Name and shame this reckless surgeon so no one else goes near him...
  9. I go by results not rumours or opinions. He consistently produces the most impressive results in the industry - forget the fake news and look at the before and after pics (in there 100s).
  10. Asmed - Dr koray erdogan. He will give you the results you want and then exceed them.
  11. There is no surgeon (that I have seen) who can compare to Asmed for hair transplants. He is simply in a different class, however this is the first case where I have seen a result this poor. If I was you id negotiate with Asmed and say you will meet them half way and pay for 750 grafts and they pay for 750 grafts...seems fair.
  12. your surgeon has been far too conservative with the grafts allocation. I hope it's ok but you may need to book a second session.
  13. Sorry but why are you losing transplanted hair? Did you ask the surgeon, it's supposed to last for life.
  14. you can see the from pic has become very "see through" - not sure but I think there are small hairs coming back?
  15. I did post a separate topic in this section regarding my thinning (with pics). Just search by username
  16. Exactly, with so many hundreds of thousands of HT, where are all the picture of this 3-4 year shedding and (more importantly) the picture of the regrowth (back to full density as regularly discussed). I’ve been trawling this site and the internet and cannot find anything. That’s strange ?!
  17. I put up a post last week on this page, You’ll easily find it. I posted some pics on there. How about you? Do you have any pics and when did you notice this “shedding”? Is it improving? I’ve been told to wait 3-4 months before any signs of improvement
  18. This is EXACTLY what I am going through and it scared the hell out of me. Im surprised it hasn't been mentioned as much (that you'll effectively go through an ugly duckling phase every 4 years (give or take). I am hoping it will thicken up but my Dr told me it'll take a few more month. Nervous time for me. If it does Ill have to have surgery again (which I don't want)
  19. I am 45 - judging from my pics would you say this is miniaturisation or shedding (with the returning hair being the same quality as before)?
  20. No it’s the marketing I’ve see. They say donor hair doesn’t fall out but I’m learning different
